Libby J. "I can't believe this place doesn't have more reviews. Actually considering how few people visit Treasure Island and the limited opening hours, I am not THAT surprised. Let's get some of the could be betters out of the way:- Very limited food - only empanadas and chips- Very limited hours - I think they are only open on weekends and from 12-6 PM. We wanted to hang out longer after getting there about 5:15, and we just made it for last call. Why it is great:- The views. Literally million dollar views of the bay. - The mini beach and chairs. They have chairs so you can chill on a tiny man-made beach with some music jams and a few beach games. Or you can just sit at the tables outside (not in the sandy area). - Some yummy beer, wine, ciders, and non-alcoholic drinksOverall, a chill spot where you can kick back and enjoy a $7 drink and million dollar views."

James Y. "I am really puzzled by the reviews here and the ratings that go with it."I had a great time!" "This is my go-to place!" And then 4 stars. I sincerely hope some of these folks have bosses who give them glowing reviews and then say "4/5 though".Had a great time here and it was packed. Buddy and I met up for drinks and even though I had dinner, I was tempted by the menu. All the tables looked like they were having a great time as well. Great ambiance for a group or smaller party."

We pick anywhere we want to eat.2. We scan the QR to order food and drinks and then it appears relatively quickly. You can choose weather to run a tab or keep it open for you and your crew. Great place for kids, groups, and pets. Nice view of big screens for the games as well."

Olga R. "This review is on the brunch buffet:) Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, they have all kinds of moles, pipian, chilaquiles, fresh tortillas, cafe de olla, fresh fruit, rice and beans , menudo and pozole to chose from for about $35 per person plus tip. You can seat inside or outside and the employees are very pleasant and hard workers, they kept on checking on us, cleaning and refilling the buffet. For an extra fee they have micheladas. The restaurant gets pretty busy however they try to find you a table quick. They have parking right outside. Definitely will come back"

Kathleen P. "A family friendly spot and great for big groups. There's limited metered parking around the area. Menus are accessible via QR codes at each table or on the sign right when you walk in. You order and pay at the bar and they'll deliver your order to you. There was a live band playing last Thursday evening. It was difficult to have a conversation as it was loud, but they had gaps between their sets to allow for chit chat. The music was great! The largest table could seat a party of 9. The sweetest dessert wine they carry is a Sauternes which was SO good! The fries were a hit at my table and it can be shared with at least three people. I also enjoyed the steak and frites, but if you wait too long to eat it, the fatty part gets too chewy. The fries it came with is shareable too. The bartender was super nice!"

Ed U. "This was a nice find for Jamie W. and me. We had bought tickets for "Barbie" at The New Parkway nearby. We had a half-hour to kill before laying our eyes on Ryan Gosling's abs of steel and Barbie's Dream House (in that order). Initially we weren't interested in beer and burgers. Geez, do we look like frat dudes? It was an open air space with worn picnic tables and the brick walls covered with murals.Actually their food menu was quite extensive. A lot of burgers and a lot of sandwiches though no fries. Also a lot of draft beers and a good set of cocktails. Sounded like a frat party to us, but then we noticed they offered different flavors of slushies, five of six with alcohol. Even with frozen $14 temptations like Daiquiri and Paloma, we were most drawn to the Mangonada. It's one of my favorite Mexican treats. In its original form, it featured mango sorbet, chamoy, and fresh mango spears. The transformation here turned it into a refreshing Tequila Sunrise slushie with vodka and mango puree mixed together with the chamoy and the pint glass rimmed with chili lime seasoning (photo: https://bit.ly/3YGXKAx). The result was tantalizing. The vibe here was convivially urban as it was a mix of tech heads (yes, free WiFi), hipsters, and even young families. Fun on a weekend afternoon.COCKTAILS - 4 stars...the slushies get quite addictingAMBIANCE - 4 stars...honestly like a block party in the inner citySERVICE - 4 stars...cheery staffTOTAL - 4 stars...hard to imagine not having fun hereRELATED - Exploring Oakland? Luciano Z. "As a new resident of Oakland I'm such a fan of this brewery. I love how there's indoor and outdoor seating for those warm summer days, as well as a burger joint connected to it for when you need a bite to eat. Just make sure you come early cause that line can get quite long. They are known for their fruity radlers which are some of the best I've had. My favorite one is the Nordic jam. It's light, fruity, and refreshing. Some other favorites would have to be the radler and weekender. I've been here multiple times now and have enjoyed the vibes and the staff are great. Another great brewery in the bay."

Jenn V. "They had me with Tevin Campbell's "Can We Talk" playing in the background. Solid playlist that night! Also saw they have live music some DJs on the weekends which is pretty cool. They have a dedicated stage area where I imagine they have their performers. Great beer garden spot with a nice selection of bites in downtown Napa. Plenty of seating options that could accommodate groups of all sizes. Also plenty of heaters to keep the space warm. It's a covered outdoor space I can see it getting a little cool on some evenings. We came for the smash burgers and we were not disappointed. Hubs went with a double patty and claimed this would be our new go-to burger spot! Also got a side of tots which were piping hot when they came out. Just had a glass of Stella but they had a nice drink menu with all sorts of options. Great service, great food, great drinks, and overall great vibe here!"

They always have pop-up food vendors set up outside too, which is great for discovering new cuisines or local restaurants. My friends and I enjoyed the fun environment during bingo night and we'll certainly be back again."

Rotten City Pizza

David M. "This pizza is hands-down, some of the best in the Bay Area, especially if you like New York style but really, for anyone who likes pizza, Period. We had a large family event and "catered" from here, in that we ordered 12 pizzas and a TON of salads and all of our guests raved about how delicious everything was (...including several New Yorkers!) ;)My biggest complaint is just that we didn't discover this place until too recently despite the fact that they are located not too far from us. Thanks Mike and all the others that helped us. Oh, P.S. We were originally going to have our event at their location, in their courtyard. It has so much promise, but because of the weather and the lack of heaters, we decided not to take our chances...but I'd be willing to bet they would make a killing if they spruced up that courtyard just a little bit more, particularly with heaters, and they have a booming outdoor dining business! For now, great place to grab and go ( or eat there when the weather is warmer). Thanks again!"

The guy helping me out was very nice and informative. We wanted to try both the west coast beers and the hazy ipas. This place is much quieter than Faction or Almanac. They have seating inside and outside as well. Staff here is always nice and friendly and checking up on us to see if we liked the beers"

Eric H. "Nido's is a hidden gem wide out in the open! After having just returned from a family function in Guadalajara we were looking for something similar to the outstanding restaurants they have down there to celebrate my son's birthday. Nido's fit the bill to the tee. Great ambiance, great taste and the quality of the food was top notch. Add to that the outstanding service (special shout out to Craig!) and it truly is one of the best Mexican food restaurants in the Bay Area. The prices definitely are a little higher than what we would pay in Guadalajara lol, but we found them very fair for here, especially given the amount of meat in the dishes we ordered. I highly recommend Nido's BackYard!"

Alden C. "Black Hammer Brewing was a great beer experience that Steve and I enjoyed in recent months. We had the CCBA Collab Cold IPA. I do enjoy Cold IPA's as they seem to be up and coming but still new and fresh that brings something different to the table over standard IPA's that you can get virtually everywhere. Also collaboration beers are usually rock solid and this one is absolutely no exception. The floral, hoppy, dry and bitter flavor features are a real joy to have them combine while savoring this beer and I am very grateful that my fortunate and rewarding streak with Cold IPA's continues!"

Stephanie Y. "Ambiance - 5 stars although it's mostly outdoor covered seating. I don't think you can beat Arthur Macs for vibes especially if you have kids. Read: there tends to be a lot of kids here. A few fire pits, picnic benches, booths, old school arcade games... this spot is a perfect spot to hang. The food is fine and it's a tad bit pricey, but it works for convenience and how family friendly it is. Is it the best pizza in the world? No. But they have some great options and it gets the job done - it's very crust forward. And at $5/slice and $30/pie, not the cheapest, but that's the going rate for pizza these days. A few things: We also ordered the house nuggets, which were delicious fried morsels of chicken served with a nice ranch we could also use for the very crusty crust. Milk and juice was a bit of a rip, so keep on with the water and beer. Overall, we haven't been in years and we returned as they were offering a free slice to kids in their next level football program jersey, which my son does. We needed dinner and wanted to support, and what genius marketing. My husband and I both agreed we need to revisit more often."

Veronica P. "Stopped in this place for a drink before XMas.Super cute! We went before XMas and they had vendors for last minute gifts. We got drinks and they had a good variety of ciders and beers. They also had Señor Sig there. We've just eaten so didn't order but good to know you can order food. It was outdoors, slightly cool outside but they had heaters. The best part was the dope DJ they had at the time. The beers and ciders are in plastic cups so that's a little eh - beer taste better in glass but it could also be to prevent breakage.Would def come back to try the food!"
