"Went there with my husband last night and ordered the taco Tuesday deal, umami fries, soy garlic wings, and the pork rice bowl. It took about 25min to get our food after ordering from the kiosk but once we got our food and sat down to eat at a table right next to their stall, the tacos and the fries were cold! I notified one of the employees there and first asked if he could reheat the tacos and he said that it's going to be the same? I was confused and just asked to be refunded for the cold food and went to super duper burger instead."
"Kusan Uyghur was featured on the show Check, please! and a friend recommended it, so I decided to check it out. While I was a little nervous that it might be too adventurous for my taste buds, I found lots of dishes that were delicious. The restaurant isn't huge, so it feels best to come with groups of 2-4 to avoid a long wait. The heat lamps outside were a nice touch since there isn't a lot of space to wait inside. Also, I enjoyed the complimentary ice cream cone at the end of the meal. Looking forward to my next visit!"

"I recently dined at this restaurant during a visit to the Dublin area and had a positive experience overall. The food was excellent, with the duck being my absolute favorite. It was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The dumplings, while my least favorite, were still quite delicious. One of the standout dishes was the Baked Seafood over Rice. It was unique and packed with a variety of flavors that made it a memorable choice. We also tried Koi's BBQ Combo, and the BBQ pork was particularly flavorful and well-prepared.However, I do agree with prior reviews that this spot is on the expensive side. Additionally, there is a surcharge added to the end of the bill, so it's important to factor that in before ordering. Due to this surcharge, I had to reduce my overall rating."
"I've been here twice now and both times were excellent. The service is friendly and fast, but the food quality is what stands out the most. It's been delicious and fresh both times.Tried the black pepper Berger and basil chile beef, both excellent. And their desserts...it's worth it. The fried bananas with ice cream were great."
"This place is a great. All the food was fresh and the flavors were on point. We got a few plant forward dishes. They were flavorful and pretty to look at. We walked out feeling satisfied and healthy."
"Vegan Mushroom and Cauliflower Peas Curry & Vegan Momo Super flavorful! The warmth from the spices is what gets you full without being over-the-top full!"
"Poki Run has truly ruined it for myself when it comes to my poke cravings. No other place can compare, especially when it comes to taste and quality of that sushi rice. Let's be real- if your rice is trash, the meal itself couldn't possibly be any better when it comes to this type of dish. Poki Run is a bit of a drive compared to a couple of poke spots located a lot closer to home but I'd easily make the trip. 5/5 stars!! Seafood, protein, and ingredients are always fresh, tasty, and the pricing is 100% justified. Flavorings as a whole is always spot on and satisfies all my cravings completely. Having a few recent fails at other establishments have only solidified my love and high praises for PR."
"i have been going to bar bay grill for the past two years as a regular and i absolutely adore this place. their $1 oysters on tuesday and thursdays are a steal and i love going during those times. i usually avoid bars since i do not drink but this place's atmosphere does not make it uninviting. you could definitely bring kids and the atmosphere would still be light and fun.honestly there had never been a bad bite from me here.my favorite things are the oysters, garlic bread, wings, garlic fries, samgyeopsal, chicken wings. i love this place to death and it definitely needs more people coming here!"
"I can't believe I've been sleeping on 310 Eatery, what a deliciously fun spot! Sharing their space with Matchpoint Brewing, we enjoyed the huge menu offerings including the 310 Street Burger (yes to the bacon jam!), Beef Noodle Soup, Thai-Town Iced Tea, and new nightly dim sum treats! Such a unique fusion of Asian dishes and comforting classics. Fun fact: 310 also serves soufflé pancakes ~ because of the way they are made, it's asked that you allow time for production & the pancakes tender/love/care..so calling ahead of the weekend you're coming in to place your order is greatly appreciated!Everything we consumed for dinner here was so good. The burger was instagrammable, my husband's noodle dish was packed with comforting flavor, and the dim sum is so fun and yum!The family ownership here is what truly sets this spot apart from other eateries on San Pablo. You can get a sense of the love and compassion they have for each other, the community, and for serving overall great food to the masses. I can't wait to come back and try other dishes like the Crispy Chicken Temescal Sandwich, the Street Dog, the Chinatown Crispy Noodles, the Bacon Jam Cheezy Noodles (baked udon w/ mozza and bacon jam), and the bacon-wrapped egg rolls. Did I mention they also serve breakfast on weekends? 310 Eatery does it all without breaking the bank. Street parking can be busy, so allow a few extra minutes for that."
"Craving butter chicken and went to Rangoli's only to find out they are no longer in business. So Yelp to the rescue! I been seeing adds for Off the Record, but never bit. I actually didn't realize it was Indian fare. They were closing in 52min and would reopen at dinner time. I was not waiting. Very cute location with cool outdoor seating/patio area. Walked in and felt kinda nightclub-ish. Lights were warm and inviting, walk up bar, nice padded booths. The menu is pretty vast. I can comfortably bring my vegan kid and we would both have lots of options. Great smells wafting from the kitchen. Ended up with butter chicken, butter naan and rice. I'll be back to update on the food. Update: butter chicken was just that...nice and buttery and creamy. And boneless. I have a dislike for bones. Nice chat to the meat and very tender. Basmati long grain and butter mama to go with it. I like my naan a bit more flavorful so I will try the garlic next time. All in all good experience. Will be back for the outside dining"
"Okay, I remember liking this place, but I don't super remember why, and alarmingly, it's not because I was 34 beers deep :-OThis is indeed alarming - why would I be out and about and not 34 beers deep...?Let us get to the bottom of this! Now, I remember this being a weekday, because I was dressed appropriately enough for people to think that I was employed. It's not my fault that looking homeless also means living in comfort. My loss - all the more suits and ties for you bozos! Now, this doesn't disqualify the beers, because working WUI is really the only way to get through work. Man, remember the days when we were all working remotely and we weren't turning on our cameras?! Wooooowiiiieee!!Um, anway, I think the food was pretty good. Probably be back, cuz it's right across from my place and I am laaaazzzzyyyyyyy."
"Adorable patio, feels like you're in the middle of a garden. Food was very good, so was service. Great spot for when you want a nice evening out with friends or a date."

Flavorful food for a decent portion size and price. After walking a lap around the public market, I settled for Koja. I got the short rib rice bowl and was surprised by the portion size. The meat was flavorful and tender. The salad was drenched in dressing and honestly got a bit too salty at the end. I would ask for dressing on the side next time. Rice was a little mushy, but overall, a decent meal for $13. Limited staff interaction. Ordering is via snackpass tablet. Food is placed on the counter and you receive a text when it is ready. It took me a few minutes to flag someone down for a cup of water even though they had no orders at the time.

Went here for belated Valentine's Day and was super delicious! My first time trying this cuisine. You will experience the sichuan numbing effect from some of their dishes if you're sensitive to spicy! Also very nice ambiance inside of the restaurant, which you would never expect from looking at from the exterior.

We had wonderful meals here. We came for Thanksgiving and surprisingly it wasn't crowded. They seated our party of 8 and we enjoyed so many delicious foods here. Our favorites included the baked fish over rice dish. It had a white sauce that was so yummy. We got the xlb, stir fried green beans, and beef wrap. We came here twice and both times, it was so good. Servers were graciously nice and friendly to our kids.

An update since we came here one more time and actually dined in. We took family to dine here as they've never had Burmese food. So we decided to order the standard Tea Leaf Salad but ended up getting a few more items we've never tried.Parking was quite easy and it wasn't at all busy when we came by, just a few tables of folks dining in. We ordered the Burmese Style Chicken Curry, Vegan Samosa, Tea Leaf Salad, Salmon Lemon Grass Fusion, Burmese Garlic Noodles and Mango Shrimp. For me, everything was a bit saltier than I wanted. But the winners were were the Mango Shrimp (which were very tender), Salmon Lemon Grass Fusion, and Burmese Garlic Noodles. I of course died due to all the garlic, but it was well worth the heartburn.Service was very good and quite stellar. They had a table celebrating a birthday and they had sparklers for them!Overall, a good place to get your Burmese food fix with get great service and very flavorful food. Definitely check them out!

I've been here a few times and the food has been great each time. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The menu is extensive so there are a lot of dishes to choose from. So far my favorites have been the "on fire" won tons and an lemongrass eggplant and tofu dish with ginger from the specials menu. I look forward to coming back and trying as many as I can!

That lunchtime conundrum: where to buy lunch that we haven't already eaten SO many times...? Checked what's local on Yelp & Momo's caught my eye.Easy to order online, easy to find parking, service was super duper friendly & of course most importantly, food was delicious. We also had enough leftover to enjoy dinner as well. Both veggie & chicken Momo's were delicious, nicely seasoned- 2 ample containers of sauce included. Quinoa and tofu salad was something I ordered purely tryna be healthy- but it was fresh & tasty we definitely will order again. Also got chicken noodle dish- mild box we're wimpy- great seasonings & chunks of chicken & veg. Didn't get pics of everything coz we were scarfing it down & also doesn't look so pretty in take out containers. Satisfied! We'll b back.

I LOVE POKI RUNNN!!! It beats Poke House slightly because they offer up to five scoops and have a variety in their menu. I usually go for the bowls, and the biggest win for me is how consistently fresh the fish is, along with their great variety of sauces! In the bowl pictured, I opted for unagi and decided to try the blueberry mayo. Initially, I was skeptical (because blueberry mayo?!), but it adds a light, unexpected sweetness without being overpowering. The restaurant is spacious with lots of seating, the staff is always welcoming, and the area is kept clean. Highly recommend! I come here often and will definitely keep coming back :)

Fresh oysters are great. Especially good deal on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I also like the seaweed salad. Corn cheese is too stiff once a little cooled, needs to add more mayo or cream.

"Wonderful service, ambiance and food! We were greeted so warmly by the hostess/server and immediately seated. We asked for suggestions on what to order and she let us know when she thought the food would be sufficient (my pet peeve is when they try to oversell you, so it's always extra points when they tell you not to order any more!) Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Plus the space is beautifully decorated and has an upscale but not pretension feel to it. I will definitely be back!"
"The place gets packed, no sitting , take out only. It's Chinese fast food greasy, starchy, and msg. The people are nice, and funny because the old people talk , the food portions are bang for the buck, especially when they bring out fresh items. Would I go, yes I would , for a college student or a person on a budget this helps. Prices are on point for what you get. Average $-$$ So forget McDonald's -- this place way cheaper and food fresh."
"A true Oakland gem. Family run, amazing food and fair prices. My favorites are the fire cracker wonton, egg rolls (handmade in house, so fresh and crispy) and my daughter loves the wonton soup. The bao bun sliders are also awesome. Fresh, soulful food. Great service, comfortable and clean. And they serve Fat Tire Ale! If you haven't tried it you have to."
"Great place to go for hot plate sizzling food! We came on a weekday night and they were pretty crowded at around 6 pm. You order on QR code, and they bring the food out to you. I highly recommend you to not wear something that is hard to wash because the smell will permeate into your clothing. I ordered the curry rice with beef and added kimchi on top. We also ordered the calamari to share, the calamari took awhile to come out, about 15 min, they make it fresh! I really enjoyed my dish! It came with a good portion of meat and rice."
"Ordered through GrubHub for takeout, and was seriously impressed! The New York strip was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, and the scallops were also done well--not overcooked, just the right texture. The garlic rice was amazing--packed with flavor, with a nice peppery kick that I loved. The vegetables paired really well with everything, making the meal feel balanced and satisfying. Plus, the portion sizes were huge, which made it well worth the price! Another plus? The food traveled well, sometimes takeout can lose its quality, but everything held up great. Overall, definitely be ordering again! Would highly recommend if you're looking for quality food with big portions and great flavor."
"The asian foodie in me says long standing 3 to 3.5 star places are the gems of the asian restaurant industry - and this is one of them. The ambiance might be a little tight for some but that's what I appreciate about these seemingly old school spots. They're lean, provide quality, there isn't this need to service you in this fluffy way to your expectations.Do give their rotisserie yellow noodle chicken a go. They use fresh oil and bring it out shortly after you receive your bowl of yellow noodles so its piping hot and crispy. It's always my go to."
"The Husband was tasked with picking a restaurant tonight 11/20/24, and chose Spicy Kitchen (he chose it only because he said that it had a rating of 4.8). When I choose a restaurant, I read other reviewers' comments and their recommendations, then I look at the restaurant's menu online as to what else is offered.I can't do spicy, but because I'm a trooper I made the best of a difficult situation. I chose the following two dishes that sounded "safe": Spring Onion Protected Beef, and Yu Xiang Braised Eggplant. Also, you can't have Asian dishes without the requisite bowls of rice (I ordered a bowl each for us in lieu of ordering a fried rice or fried noodle dish). The Spring Onion Protected Beef was flavorful and delicious, and came with lots of sliced white onions and 1-inch pieces of spring onions (looks like green onions). This was right up my alley because I looove onions (red/white) and spring/green onions. The Yu Xiang Braised Eggplant was ABSOLUTELY divine. It kinda reminded me of eggplant in garlic sauce that you'd get in other Asian restaurants, but much tastier. Make no mistake, this dish came with TWICE the amount of eggplant that you'd receive in other Asian restaurants. It was a good thing I didn't order a third entree because these 2 dishes were just the right amount for 2 people - otherwise, a wheelbarrow would've been needed to wheel me home! When the bill came, I noticed that the eggplant dish was called "Fish-flavored Eggplant". I thought that that was a mistake because the eggplant did not taste fishy or have any fish taste at all. Later on at home I compared the Chinese characters on the bill/receipt to the Chinese characters on the paper menu I asked our server for (to take home), and the dish is correct. So keep in mind that if you're vegan, this eggplant dish does have some kind of a fish ingredient in it.The great thing about this restaurant is that its cuisine is VERY flavorful in comparison to Cantonese cuisine. The only drawback is that unless you speak Mandarin and/or can read and understand the Chinese characters (with English directly below the Chinese characters) on the menu, you'd be clueless as to what most of the dishes are. This is because there is absolutely no description for each of the dishes. For instance, there's a dish called "Millionaire" - I have NO idea if it was a meat or vegetable dish (or for that matter what kind of meat or what kind of vegetable). But if you're the daring and adventurous type, go for it!!! Let it be a wonderful surprise - or let it be a stupendous letdown for you haha. The restaurant was very clean and well-lit, and our server (attractive young man with glasses) was awesome. If you're in the mood for Chinese but are tired of the same-old, same-old Cantonese dishes, come here and treat your taste buds to a glorious adventure - because the dishes are flavorFULL - yes, emphasis on the FULL! In the end, I'm glad I came here and will come back to try other dishes!!!Advice for the restaurant when updating your menu in the future: It would help your customers to: 1) give descriptions as to what each dish is, or the ingredients involved in each dish, 2) separate the dishes into categories - for example: cold dishes, chicken dishes, beef dishes, pork dishes, lamb dishes, seafood dishes, dry pot dishes, house special dishes, fried rice/noodles dishes, soup dishes, other dishes (such as frog, intestine, duck blood, kidney, lung) and lastly, 3) pictures of the dishes (this is especially important).Regardless, based on my experience tonight, this restaurant rates a 5 out of 5 stars"
"The portions were good for sharing. One plate is enough for two people. The sweet basil rice was strong in basil flavor. There was a good mix of chicken and rice. The eggplant was soft under all the pork with only a few pieces of shrimp. The taste was a new taste for me!Always great to try new dishes. Our waiter was very nice!"
"I was intrigued by the restaurant's fusion of different food descriptions. The idea of Asian & Latin flavors blend was a first for me. We ordered 6 items that arrived greasy, with really small portions. The chimichurri dressing for the Chicken salad was missing, and the Ramen dish we ordered didn't arrive either. Two orders of Parnil Fried rice were sent instead. The Pernil egg rolls were soggy, not a crunch to be found. I was so disappointed with the food. Not worth the money! Will I ever try this food again..Nope"
"This is my GO TO place when I am getting ready to BBQ~You can get 11 lbs of party wings for only $15!! They also have alot of other meats you can BBQ here for a steal of a deal. This place is located almost across the street from the Sears outlet and can be easily missed. This is a warehouse run by some friendly Chinese Folks and is open to the public."
"Always wanted to try this spot but it's always popular with a long line. Not busy at 8pm on a weeknight when indulging with friend Max L! I love noodles but udon is not at the top of my list...it's just too "worm-like" for me. Hey, we all have our preferences. Still, enjoyed my bowl of: :: TONKOTSU UDON - flavorful and rich broth, with a hard boiled egg, and thin slice of pork. Added green onions and it was perfect for this cold weather. :: SHRIMP TEMPURA and ZUCCHINI TEMPURA ($2 each)Good try and probably wouldn't get it again as it had lost its crispness sitting under the heat lamp.Staff friendly and helpful. Ordering is "cafeteria-style": pick your udon bowl (pick a size) or protein bowl with your choice of toppers (crisp panko and green onions) and option of tempura. Bus your own tables. Lot parking and structure parking at the City Center Bishop Ranch, San Ramon"
"Oh wow, what a gem of a spot! The lunch special combo for just $20? *Chef's kiss* - it's a total steal. You get a boatload of food for that price, and it's all delicious. The portions? Don't even get me started. They're massive - you'll leave here full enough to take a nap for sure. Parking lot's a little cozy, but no worries - there's plenty of side street parking, so you're all good. I'll definitely be back for those tasty, budget-friendly meals. If you're looking for good food that won't break the bank, this is the place!"
"Consistency is critical. And Soo Ja has been a staple for Korean comfort food in my household for over 7 years now. I'm happy to say pre-pandemic, these guys made wonderful food, with great serving sizes and an ever friendly staff. Post pandemic, there's been zero drop off in any of these areas. Well done Soo Ja Fusion Bistro!Favorites over the years:Spicy buck wheat noodlesKimchi fried riceBibimbapSpam Budae JjigaeKimbap (all are pretty great, just tried the Jap chae mushroom one today...whoa that's a keeper)Corn cheese pancakesWishlist:Wang Mandoo!"
"This is one of those spots that really gives the local, homey vibe. Being filipino myself, I found that sort of connection to the menu even though there are differences from traditional methods. By saying that, the food speaks for itself and its delicious. The owner was really friendly and broke their menu down for us with even a history of how Thank Que Grill became what it is. We ordered the Sisig Fries, Lumpia, and Lumpia Sliders. Everything was made to order and piping hot once it was brought to the table. The sisig are infant-approved, especially the aioli thats laid on top of the fries. We didnt finish our food and took a good amount home as the food is on the heavier side but thats not necessarily a bad thing. Im coming here again in the future and trying their Chicken Banh Mi."
"I visited this place for the first time today, and I was impressed. The broth was hearty and not too salty, which I appreciated. They gave me plenty of fresh basil, and the lime was especially good. The chili oil could be better, but it was fine overall. The real standout was the shrimp spring rolls, they were so fresh they've become my favorite."
"BRING BACK TOM YUM SOUP BROTH. As frequenters who actually completed 3 loyalty cards between 2 people we ask nicely please, bring back tom yum soup. The new sukiyaki broth that replaced it is too sweet and the sweet and sour tomato broth gave me a horrible acid reflux. After they removed tom yum we tried it a couple more times but even the variety of the ingredients decreased. Sadly, we won't be coming back anytime soon. Maybe maybe maybe"
"This was an unexpected gem in Oakland! Delicious and authentic - be aware that they mean Korean levels of hea when they say spicy. Prices were reasonable, the staff was friendly, and service was prompt. They were able to accommodate a large group of us in town for a conference very last minute. I'd definitely visit again if back in the area."
"It is located in a shopping center with a decent size parking lot, so parking was easy. We got seated right away. We arrived at 8pm on a weekday and they close at 9. They were very friendly and attentive. Service was A+We started with the Luau under the special appetizer. The tasted very fresh and the pickled radish added a nice crunch to it. In terms of rolls, we got the lion king roll (it was baked to perfection), the galaxy roll (also great!), and the jalapeno Hama (had a nice kick to it).We also got the deluxe sashimi, which i think the fish pieces were fresh and big! One person in our group got the pork katsu don. He really liked it - said the chicken was fried well. Ambiance was casual and great vibes. Overall we all highly recommend this place. Definitely will return!"
"I have only ever ordered this through delivery, and every time is perfection. Strongly suggest you try their beef chow mein and their red chili oil dumplings. Both are just out of this world! Tender beef, flavorful noodles and veggies, it's absolutely top of the charts in deliciousness.I will definitely plan to visit their location in person when the weather improves. Super super delicious!!! A++"
"They have 15+ Dumpling options with different ingredients and proteins, you can order them cooked or frozen and make them later, it's the only local place I can think of with this many dumpling options. It's in the same plaza as Harbor Freight and Bamboo Steamer, another dumpling place is not too far from here.XLB: My kids love these and there are too many good options in this area, they won't eat ones that don't taste good and devoured these easily.Pork Dumpling with Corn: Wanted to try something new and these had well marinated meat and lots of corn in it. Best part was dumpling skin was nice and thin.Yeung Chow Fried Rice: I love this fried rice, I don't know why I wait for Chinese or Vietnamese weddings to have it, it was pretty good from Elite Dumpling. Only thing I wish was more shrimp and BBQ pork."
"First I would like to start off with the service! As soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeted by the staff. First impressions are huge! As soon as we get seated, the table is set to perfection. 10/10We put in our order, I can't remember the names of our dishes but I will provide pictures for you.We had the salad with duck in it. I honestly would go back just for the salad alone. It had that a really nice bite to it. The shallots added so much flavor, and you know when you get a salad and sometimes they over dress it? Well that was not the case, it was dressed and definitely impressed. Had a squeeze of lime for that extra zing to it. Perfect! We also had the hotpot, and let me tell you! The soup base was flavorful. It didn't need anything. It had that sweet and sour taste to it, and the fact that you get to add extra little sides in it made it so good! Kayla our wonderful staff member told us to add bean curd, and that little bean curd soaked up all the flavor , and as soon as you put it in your mouth, the flavor bomb kicked in! So good The other item we ordered was a beef stir fry with rice noodle and lettuce, I am a big meat eater. The beef alone was epic, it was savory, and the rice noodles that comes with it was really good. It came with a dipping sauce, and just like the bean curd, the rice noodles packed all that flavor! This is definitely a restaurant you have to try. The whole setting of the restaurant was beautiful, from the cuttlery to the food it was amazing! Definitely a date night, a go to in alameda, a fun dinner with the family. I can't wait to come back to try other things on the menu. I'm sure they won't miss - (this means that they aren't going to fail for you people who don't know what that means)."
"Finallly got to try this place and let me tell you, yes it is pricy BUT the food is delicious and fresh. Ambiance:We asked for outdoors since it was a nice day. It does seem like they have a lot of room indoors and a decent outdoor seating. The staff is great and prompt. Food:- shrimp toast - 5/5 this is a must get trust me. - pork & shrimp sui mai - 5/5 stuffed meaty and juicy- chili pork dumpling - 4/5 good just wish it was spicier- XLB - 5/5 so good- wagyu beef gyoza - 3/5 sadly nothing to special I could skip this- vegan fried rice - 5/5 seasons and really good"
"Do not be like me and come here after a long day of not eating because you'll end up packing down a bowl for 2 meals! But also be like me if you don't mind delicious leftovers. The selection variety for the bowls here are great: they'll have most of the classic hot pot options with some few extra goodies I haven't seen elsewhere where and enjoy such as the fish tofu with cheese and mochi nuggets! With mild spice on the signature beef bone broth I could def feel a little numbing in my mouth but it's so flavorful.Their bottled drink selections were refreshing if you want a fun flavored drink like grape or pomegranate tea. Alternatively, they offer drinks on the side that are free next to the sauce bar.I'm already looking forward to my next time eating here! Definitely come with friends to bet on how much food each person will end up paying for based on the weight of their bowl."
