Burma Bay Cafe was busy during lunch and this being my first visit, I understand why. This was my second time having Burmese food and I am in love. I choose a lunch special of a main dish, a choice of different side of rice and vegetables. I got the Minted Jalapeño Chicken Curry and it was so tasty. I also got Burmese noodles and I loved that sweet sauce it had. The restaurant is clean and modern. The customer service was very good as well. I can't wait to come back here.

Burma Bay is a hidden gem for delicious halal Burmese food at super affordable prices. They have an amazing selection--palata with chicken curry, flavorful pepper chicken, and the absolute must-try Ohn-No Khaw Sew and Mongolian beef. Everything is packed with flavor, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. We love going during happy hour (weekdays from 3-6 PM) when appetizers and drinks are 30% off--such a great deal! Definitely worth a visit.

An update since we came here one more time and actually dined in. We took family to dine here as they've never had Burmese food. So we decided to order the standard Tea Leaf Salad but ended up getting a few more items we've never tried.Parking was quite easy and it wasn't at all busy when we came by, just a few tables of folks dining in. We ordered the Burmese Style Chicken Curry, Vegan Samosa, Tea Leaf Salad, Salmon Lemon Grass Fusion, Burmese Garlic Noodles and Mango Shrimp. For me, everything was a bit saltier than I wanted. But the winners were were the Mango Shrimp (which were very tender), Salmon Lemon Grass Fusion, and Burmese Garlic Noodles. I of course died due to all the garlic, but it was well worth the heartburn.Service was very good and quite stellar. They had a table celebrating a birthday and they had sparklers for them!Overall, a good place to get your Burmese food fix with get great service and very flavorful food. Definitely check them out!

Wow amazing food! Honestly I wanted to leave a 5 start review but we had to ask for water and for someone to take our order multiple times. They are definitely understaffed. We finally got our first cup of water 30 minutes after sitting down. Some people that came after us got to order before we even got water so it felt like some things were in disarray. We tried a variety of the food, the samosa soup, fried lotus chips, garlic noodles and Burmese tea. Surprisingly the food came in a lot quicker than expected (especially after seeing how long it took for us to get water and order). All of the food had amazing food. The decor and ambiance is pretty plain but the food made up for it. Hope we get faster service next time!

I've been here twice now and both times were excellent. The service is friendly and fast, but the food quality is what stands out the most. It's been delicious and fresh both times.Tried the black pepper Berger and basil chile beef, both excellent. And their desserts...it's worth it. The fried bananas with ice cream were great.

This restaurant is located at the Galleria plaza. There are plenty of free parking spots. We were greeted and seated by a friendly waiter upon entering the restaurant. They have an extensive menu. We ordered the Palata with Coconut Chicken Curry, Tea Leaf Salad, Nan Gyi Dok, Salmon Lemongrass Fusion, and a bowl of Coconut Rice. Our food came out in a timely manner. The palata was crispy and flaky. It went well with the coconut curry chicken. The tea leaf salad had a good amount of tea and peanuts. The nan gyi dok was tasty. The salmon lemongrass fusion was kind of flavorful. However, I didn't taste any lemongrass. The coconut rich was tasty, which I can taste the sweet coconut. The prices were fairly reasonable and they were generous with the portions. We'll be back to try their other entrees.

Gotta love this random find when I was searching for a lunch spot that has decent vegetarian options for my group. The restaurant is front and center in a strip mall that looks like it's about to shut down, just a few blocks down from Warm Springs main plazas like Little Taipei. They have pretty decent lunch specials, you pick an entree, pick a side veggie (lacking choices there), and type of rice. Protein choices got tofu, chicken, beef, spicy and non-spicy options. Rice got white, brown, coconut, basmati. Veggies were either string beans or this medley that included lotus roots. You can opt for tea leaf salad for a few extra bucks, or if you have a large enough group interest, might as well just order a full order to split. Their tea leaf salad is quite delicious, it's worth it to do a full order anyway. I had this minted jalapeno chicken with coconut rice, the whole dish was very flavorful, a bit on the saltier end for those who are used to home cooking. Definitely want to come back to try their other dishes.

This's our second visit. We're pleased to confirm the restaurant has kept up its rating. The setting is still the same, clean, bright, and upscaled. It goes without saying the friendly services and efficient kitchen. Two new dishes were tried besides the Palata Lamp Curry(tried chicken curry last time), and the Burmese Garlic Chicken Noodles(tried tofu version last time). Palata and noodles were as tasty as before. The new dishes didn't disappoint us. The Village Catfish was great. Deep fried catfishes marinated in pumpkin sauces, which was very unique. The Mixed Vegetables Curry was something different too. We found okra, egg plant, string beans, and chicken peas, in addition to the typical broccoli, carrot, cabbage, and potato. But it certainly wasn't curry heavy. Overall, it was refreshing and re-assuring that another good restaurant thrives in this area.

We came here for a girls night last night! The food was epic. It's a very clean place... renovated this new place. We had a waiter who was very polite and super humble. She was listening to everything we had asked for. The food was delicious and I'm so glad we have something like this in Fremont . We will be back shortly with our kids to enjoy the humble experience. We were so hungry we forgot to take more pictures of the food. Super fresh and delicious food
