Burlap Coffee

My favorite new coffee place (new to me) since I started working nearby. Iced vanilla lattes to die for and very consistent no matter who makes them. Nice selection of pastries from Starter Bakery. Cute cafe and dammit I love those granola bars up by the register haha!

Love the atmosphere. Love the help. The lavender latte and banana mocha were delicious. Coming back for more.

A very laid back coffee shop where you can read a book or work for hours. They sell food, coffee, and tea. The back of the coffee shop is very spacious and it has a piano and couch.

Coffee isn't good at all, bitter not pulledproperly tasted awful. The service was unreal too, theiced latte cost $6.40, every coffee shop l'vebeen to the price posted is the price you pay,the menu says $5.90 but you'll pay $6.40, verymisleading, if it was good I wouldn't haveminded as much. I pay $7 at Urth Cafe for aniced mocha that is amazing. Anyway, I saidwow thats expensive, the lady making thecoffee says " I just follow orders the owner setsthe prices ", sorry you see yourself as just there to follow orders, how sad for you. I've never heard such a disturbing comment, clearly this woman and business has issues. I wouldn't return to this place even if the coffee was free.

Great local coffee shop with very cool vibe.Friendly and helpful staff who know how to make outstanding cappuccino.

What a nice place to work, to have a matcha latte, to just enjoy a lil bit outside and change the routine. What most important thing for me, it is pet friendly. You will have a great time here, with a good service.

Only been here twice, but you can be damn sure the third and future visits will be stellar. I am greeted by the same lady who always asks more than any just the standard greeting, which I love. She is an efficient multi-tasker, making sure that her (likely) quickly-passing-through customers can rush off to their next destination after ordering.As for the actual food & drink - I've only had the Banana Mocha, but it was lovely both times. I'd say it's closer to a lightly sweetened chocolate latte - not overpoweringly sweet as one might first imagine. They sell Pebbles (berries / red velvet) vegan donuts, (plain, chocolate, almond) croissants, and baked bars, along with some more shelf-stable baked goods and instant oatmeal. I had the blueberry donut & a plain croissant my first two times - cause believe it or not the actual donut shops within a block of there always seem to have a line (good for them though!).

I got a coffee to go today and it was solid, but I had such a strange, rude experience! I ordered a decaf latte because I enjoy the taste but didn't want any more caffeine for the day. The woman taking my order gave me a weird face and repeated "decaf?" A few minutes later she gave the barista my order and said in a tone "decaf." He looked at her and said "are you serious?" in an almost whisper but still loud enough I could hear. He then took a bit talking about bagels and things with her before looking at me and again saying "decaf," then walking over to pour a decaf black coffee. I clarified I had ordered a latte and he then re-made it, but ordering a decaf latte at a coffee shop should not have been such an ordeal! Particularly when they do indeed have it. And they certainly shouldn't have been so rude about it right in front of me. No thanks!

I really enjoy the homey feel with sofas, and even a piano someone can play. The food is pretty good for a coffee joint. I'm disappointed in only one size of coffee now and that they no longer stock artificial sweetener. But the coffee is good. I previously would have given it 5 stars.

If I'm giving honest feedback this place is just ok. The decor is worn and outdated and the espresso used could be Improved or sourced elsewhere. This place gives me the vibe that they are doing what has worked before and not taken a look at the competition. It's not the worst coffee shop but could benefit from a 2025 update. Overall things could be reevaluated and improved here.
