Bud's Burgers

My mom before she passed loved loved loved Bud's so Dad and I went there on her birthday as a nod to her. I love Bud's as well, you can pick the doneness of your burger, customize it to your liking and make it great! My go to is a double burger with cheese, extra mayo, raw and grilled onions, no mustard and add pickles! This is the type of burger that you can't set down once you start. It is messy and wonderful! Some of the local grocery stores have coupons for the Giant burger special on the back too so that is a bonus! 10/10 will be going back soon!

The burgers and fries were amazing! The lady at the counter taking orders wasn't the friendliest. The food makes up for it. Plenty of parking!

Bud's was recommended from a friend who ranked it as one of his favorite spots in Vallejo. A Vallejoian who knows his food in these streets. LOL.A nostalgic experience that reminded me of all those mom-and-pop diners I once knew and are no longer standing amongst us. A great personal feeling! Fries in a cup, check. A burger with no frills, check. Done deal!Although it is aged with plenty of history behind it, their cooking area could be kept much cleaner. If you are grabbing flowers next door, Bud's would be the answer for them munchies.

This place has a very good burger at a great price. I love their fries also. I had a burger, a double cheese burger, fries, and large drink for less than $20. This is the place to go for a great meal.

If you're ready to commit to a big back BURGER, this is a space to peep! Lol. I get why this place is a hometown landmark. Literally hearing the locals say "this is the best burger in town" as we waited for our food, was confirmed at first bite. Their patties were cooked at medium well so it's basically enjoying a freshly diner-y made, soft, juicy delicious, burger. Service was friendly & ambiance was exactly what a local mom & pop spot should be. Their fries are also so deep friedly fresh & have soft, crunch, greasy (again a commitment) texture. Add some salt & pepper & sauce... man. I'd come back to try their steak sandwich and apple turnover!

There's a reason why locals as well as folks passing through stop at Buds. It's not a fancy place but it has the best burgers in the county. The fries are not processed but are from real potatoes. If I want to stray from my diet it's for a buds burger

I love this Bob's Burger. Nothing better than coming from Las Vegas to Vallejo and still we come back to Bud's Burgers. I wish they were in Vegas too, but they're not. That's why I'm back in Vallejo.

What a hidden gem! A double cheeseburger, big serving of delicious fries and refillable soda for 12 dollars and change! Fast friendly service to boot. Only wish they were open later!

I haven't been to Bud's in about five years. I've always really enjoyed their food. Today was the total opposite. It was horrible. I came in at about 5:45 and ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink. My burger was literally up in two minutes. There was not a whole crowd of people there so it's not like they should've had a bunch of burgers waiting to be cooked. My burger was literally old maybe slightly warm and smashed so flat what was the reason for that? It also lacked any taste whatsoever. The french fries were disgusting. The were old soggy fries that looked and tasted like they had been sitting in cold oil. Did they change management or something? Needless to say I will never be going back and I wouldn't have even fed this food to my neighbor's dog. A waste of $14.22.I gave them two stars because the lady at the cash register was nice

Best burger in town. Toasted buns with perfectly cooked patty and grilled onions. Fries are good most of the time. We've had the fries a little soft or soggy. But, we still come back.
