Companion and I had a change of plans, and he suggested we hit up Broc Cellars for the afternoon. Living so close, we've passed by on so many occasions, yet never checked out the spots on Gilman. We enjoyed the ambiance and were happy we could bring the pup!We came on Super Bowl Sunday and it was dead. We were the only customers the entire time but appreciated the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. The wine-tasting room is cute--love the wooden furniture and plants, and how airy and spacious it is. A few booths and tables inside to dine plus a nice outdoor patio--we sat outside with the pup.Companion and I got our libations and enjoyed it. Was nice to share the flights--strong and great. They were unfortunately out of numerous things so we ordered the Snack Plate. They were out of almonds so substituted for cheese. Companion had the cheese while I enjoyed the fresh and flavorful hummus. Truly a perfect pairing and something I'd recommend. We enjoy checking out the local drink scenes in the area and are happy to cross off Broc Cellars. I'd recommend it for those in the area who enjoy a casual wine-tasting experience. The shop is conveniently on the corner of Gilman and 5th Street with street parking around.

Hella cute place with the wood furniture! it was a little hard to find since the signage was not obvious. Staff was friendly & informative of all the wines in the flight.I think this was natural wine, so there's a different taste to it. wasn't in love with any enough to purchase a bottle. I would definitely come back to check if they have any new ones to try.

Nice outdoor patio with blankets and indoor space is pretty. Had some red wine with a sparkling flight. Service is friendly, they have some small bites like cheese and crackers to go with wine. Although they ran out of crackers when we came on a Sunday afternoon. The sparkling red was good, tried a dessert wine that was sweet and the last red wine of my flight, I forget which one was not to my liking,

Came here for Mother's Day. Planning on spending time outdoors as we knew one of the band members so it was great when the fog started burning off at 1230. As it was my first time, I decided to start with the flight. All were great although I stuck with the full body Amore Rosso for the rest of the afternoon. Food for the day was provided by Daruma. Japanese inspired food that complemented the natural wines. Penelope (sorry forgot her business name) provided the dessert treats. Thanks to Jake, Tori, Sivan and Andrew for taking care of our larger Mother's Day group. Everyone had a great time. Will definitely be back again.

Very cute spot. Dog friendly. Have a nice courtyard and outdoor space. Tried a couple wines, which were tasty. Prices are commensurate for Berkeley. Very friendly staff.

This place is so lovely. Great ambiance and lovely environment. The ones are VERY varied and super delicious. No two wines they offer are the same from the sparkling chenin (like a cider) to the Angelica (like a but better than a port) to their varietals which are so unique in flavor and preparation. Their cab franc and zinfandels are lovely. They offer blankets for cold days. They partner with local artists for clothing and blankets (tie dye natural sourcing)

The outdoor seating is nice, and it's in a good location, but the snack/food choices are super limited and glasses of wine are pricey. I think it's probably on par with other wine bars, just not something I'm a fan of. If you love wine bars, give it a try.

This place is cute for a wine tasting. We booked a booth that came with a snack plate (worth it). And we all ordered a flight each. The staff is attentive and friendly, telling us about each wine and checking in on our table. My favorite from the flight was the Love Rose, it really did have a summery taste! We also had a delicious fortified wine that tasted like honey. We will definitely be back.
