Brix Factory Brewing opened recently in a prvacated warehouse space. The murals outside as well as signage "Made in West Oakland" were here before the opening.Offerings: 12 made in site draft beers of various styles with low abv's. Bbq vendor outside. Great for slow sipping with friends and/or watching a game.Quick courteous service. Got samples. Prefer the porter over the hazy styleSips: "Rock Fall" (6) 16oz. 3.8% abv.-has the characteristics of a porter without the high abv's. Smooth Pour showcases brewing skills. Bites: all beef dog (Nathan's 7) with name brands of brown mustard, relish, sauerkraut). Vender knows his Q. Perfecto but for the burnt bun...4ish stars...small parking lot. A ramp is available for those who need it.

Nice spot and good beer! I had a very good IPA and the person behind the counter was very nice and helpful in making my selection. The inside is spacious with ample seating and wifi. Ambiance is pretty plain but it still felt happy and pleasant inside with many people enjoying a beer. They allow outside food and are next door to some of the best pizza in the bay, making this a fabulous option to pair good food and drink.

WELCOME TO WEST OAKLAND BRIX! This new brewery on the west side opened up less than a month ago and has all the essentials for a spring/summer fun day in the sun. - Plenty of Outdoor seated on a patio- Really spacious indoor seating - Plenty of hours in direct and indirect sunlight- Great variety of beers on tapI tried the Siklon Stout which was very good. Served at a great temp and not too foamy. The servers are experienced, some coming over from the very popular Almanac brewing company so they are used to handling big groups and educating on what they have on tap. Prices were very reasonable. Come show the new business some love, I for sure will be venturing back this summer many times.

I love beer so I had to come check Brix Factory Brewing out on their opening weekend. I met a friend, and we ended up staying for about two hours, because it has such a great vibe. Brix is in an old industrial building and has plenty of seating inside at a long bar or tables. There was also an outside area, but it was raining on Saturday when we were there. The whole space is open, and I love the fact that you can see the whole brewery operation in the back corner. Brix had eight beers on tap, and I was able to try all of them by getting two flights (four pours in each flight). Brix had the beers split up by "light," "hoppy," and "malty" characteristics. I'm usually a hoppy fan, but I really enjoyed "The Eye of Tazman," which is a light Pilsner and the "Lemon Theory," which is a light summer ale at only 3.8% ABV. You can drink it all day! All of the beertenders were friendly and Brix is even dog friendly! What's not to love about a place where your furry friend can come? I'm excited to see what new brews come out in the coming months.

Dog-friendly, super nice staff and great beers. It doesn't hurt that June's is next door! We have grabbed a pizza and ate it at Brix alongside a cold beer. They also usually have a food truck or a hot dog stand (tried the veggie hot dog and it was delicious!). We (and our dog) enjoy heading over here anytime!

Great beer, great spot. This is the perfect spot to come before/after Baller games Note as of early July, there's construction being done right by the brewery which makes it difficult to get to the accessible ramp (you have to go all the way around the entire warehouse to get to it).

Great, friendly staff. Clean, well made beer. Lots of light and heaters turned on indoors during the winter. June's pizza next door is absolutely incredible. Oakland's newest brewery--definitely don't sleep on it!

Great brewery to get beer and snacks at after Oakland Baller games! The team comes to hang out and the vibe, service and atmosphere is cool as hell! I highly recommend checking out this place if you love beer on tap and local.

Riding my bike down Mandella Parkway yesterday, I noticed that the construction and mayhem of the last year are over and cleared out from in front of Brix Brewery. Glory be!! Was wild to see. This was a couple of hours before they opened. New streets and Brix can groove now. Next for me, a beer there later on. markerickson.com

Great space & delightful folks behind the bar! Unpretentious and dog-friendly, too. I appreciate that they aren't one of those places with 28 goddamn IPAs and just a few offerings in other styles. They have, I believe, three IPAs. Plenty, right?I'll happily keep bringing friends here to support a welcome oasis of awesome in the West Oakland food (and beer) wasteland.
