**Review is only for the popcorn chicken**Overview: Generous portions, good flavor, great late night snack----Popcorn Chicken $9.95:- Portions are SO generous - Comes in a brown paper bag with a couple of skewers and a sweet chili kind of dipping sauce- Chicken was almost filled up to the top of the bag- Juicy, piping hot chicken- I had leftovers for the next day There is outdoor seating shared with the other surrounding businesses. The atmosphere wasn't that great. Unfortunately, there is no inside seating and we had multiple homeless people approach us for money and food. I'd recommend taking the food to go if you're able to. Other notes:- 2 Kiosk ordering machines right outside the storefront- Parking was okay to find, we parked a few blocks away and walked- Open late! They open til 1am Sunday to Thursday and until 2am on Friday and Saturday----Overall: A great bang for your buck! The popcorn chicken was delicious and the portions were huge. They open late everyday so it's an easy and convient place for a quick snack.

Boba Ninja, located in Berkeley's "Asian Ghetto" off-campus, is a small spot known for serving boba and various Asian dishes. The space is compact, with no seating, and features self-service kiosks for ordering.I ordered their popcorn chicken, a personal favorite from past visits, now priced at $9.95 (plus tax: $11.27). While it's gotten more expensive over the years--it used to be $7--the portion remains generous, and the taste is as delicious as ever. The ordering process through the Snackpass app was smooth, and my order was ready within 10 minutes.Though I didn't interact with the staff since it was a pickup order, the experience was straightforward and convenient. Overall, Boba Ninja continues to deliver solid flavors, making it a go-to for quick bites in the area.

Love this place! Popcorn chicken is so good and their boba teas are great. Love that we can order ahead and just run in and grab it on our way by. The only challenge is location, super busy street with no parking, but thats just Berkeley

Let's keep this simple. Pros and cons: + College student friendly hours: If you're craving some midnight snacks and drinks, Boba Ninja closes at 1AM Sun-Thurs and 2AM Fri-Sat. + Menu variety: They have several milk teas, fruit teas, lemonades, slushies, etc. to choose from. Topping selection is also decent. For food you can offer fries, wings, potstickers, tenders, spring rolls and more. + Popcorn Chicken: It's one of the few things I like from here. Good portions and always served piping hot. - Disposable cup charge: the city of Berkeley imposes a 25 cent fee on single-use cups, which is absolutely fine. The thing is, most businesses simply raise their prices to account for it and/or encourage their customers to bring in reusable drinkware. Boba Ninja does neither; they deceptively keep their prices low on the posted menu board, don't have the appropriate signage, and then tack it on at the end as an additional fee. I'm tired of my receipts looking like itemized hospital bills. What's the point of having a menu if the prices don't actually reflect what you will be charged in the end? Why don't you start adding a fee to cover the business license renewal then? - Terrible tea: Not a fan of the chalky texture. Which it shouldn't have, unless they're using powders. They gave a decent amount of boba though. It was almost on the mushy side but wasn't a complete disappointment. You're better off going elsewhere unless you're really desperate.

Boba ninja stealthily produced this mountain of popcorn chicken and fried octopus that my appetite was unequipped to handle. Half a bag later I'm just in awe at how much ridiculous snacking this place has to offer. The boba was fine but if you're looking for fried food calorific bliss then this ninja is definitely a "go to"!

Quite literally, THE BEST POPCORN CHICKEN I'VE EVER HAD!!!! Make sure to add extra white pepper (in a shaker on the way out) on top of the chicken. The chicken was oily, juicy, tender, and overall absolutely amazing. Also, they give you so much chicken!!! We split it among 5 people, and it was enough! My dad, a native Taiwanese, said it reminded him of the street vendors of taiwan. I think that's enough explanation.Didn't try their boba (there are plenty of options around), but most definitely the popcorn chicken is a go to.

I ordered on a screen. There is no human interaction, zero "service". But the screen has no option for no tip, you have to dig around to give a 0$ custom tip. This is something that deserves a bad review.

Located in the Durant food court area on the very busy Durant Ave, Boba Ninja is a small, unassuming boba shop across from Taco & Co. Orders are placed via the touchpad outside the shop, and is therefore cashless as far as I can tell.Ordered the Guava Slush w/ boba, and it was pretty refreshing overall. An okay option within Berkeley. Not the best, nor the cheapest. Order took about 15mins after ordering to be ready. And they charge a "Berkeley Disposable Cup Charge", which is not a charge I've seen at any other boba joints in Berkeley. Assuming this is due to other shops simply folding the fee into their total prices.

Without question, this is the best boba spot in all of Berkeley. There isn't a single shop that provides the quality of Boba aka tapioca pearls as Boba Ninja does. I haven't tried any of their food but they're drinks. Have an absolutely incredible. The atmosphere that is provided by their excellent service and incredibly appreciative ownership always keeps me going back. Whether you get a Thai tea, a Taro slush, or anything else drink related; throw in some Boba and I promise you, you will not be disappointed!

I ordered the regular size Oreo milk tea, it was alright. Personally, I think they could've added more Oreo to it as it looked like it was filled halfway in the cup.
