These people are the best and also have some decent wine. we are here almost every other weekend, my kids love the dogs, chickens and just so much open spacewe hosted a bday party here on Oct 13. It turned out at an amazing event and the owners were so helpful and patient throughout the event. I just hope they keep operating and don't let the slowdown affect them

This is a nice small winery with quality wine. I went there a few times when I lived in Pleasanton. I found a bottle of 2003 Blue Label on an auction site and enjoyed it today.

Portuguese winery. We dropped in around Sunday 3:15pm. It wasn't busy, but once in a while people would come up to get a pour or buy wine. Only a couple of tables taken outside. It was a windy day we decided to do our tastings inside the tasting room. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable. Generous pours. $20 Tasting fee of 5 wines. A tasting fee is waived with $100 wine purchase. Wines smelled good and were decent. Mostly fruity. We got to see an album with pictures of what the property looked like before it became a winery. Looks like you can bring food and picnic. They also have a bocce ball area.

Had a fabulous afternoon this past Saturday at the winery. They do live music and this Saturday it was Frequency, a local band from Livermore. Brent and Monique have done an amazing job to keep the grounds quaint and welcoming. The air conditioned tasting room was a plus. Music and picnic area was well done. You can bring your own food, no food is sold on site. Water is available and wine tasting is $20. You can also purchase bottles to enjoy. Child friendly. Friendly dogs are welcome and you can pet the dogs that live on the grounds. You can also mingle among the chickens. I enjoyed a tasting, asked Monique to please select my tastings, you can also select your own based off their menu. Started with the Alvarinho, nice clean crisp taste. I think this was my favorite. Moved to the Rosado, then 3 reds. Our table shared a bottle of green label cab. Enjoyed all of it. Nice clean restrooms and a bocce ball court. Plenty of seating, reservations are required for more than 4 people. For an enjoyable afternoon take youself to the BoaVentura winery and bring your favorite snacks. Plenty of parking as well.

I had so much fun at Boaventura! I loved seeing the chickens and the dogs free roam! Honestly, that was the highlight for me! I would love to spend my time there sipping wine and getting attention for the dogs.I enjoyed the wine selection as well. While I did not get a bottle, next time I will!

We came out because they were hosting The Vigilantes who play wonderful music from the 80s and 90s. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon listening to music and drinking a bottle of their red blend. Their Deported port is delicious. We took one home.

Tastings were $20pp and included 5 pours. There are 9 wines to choose from (10 if you include the port). The atmosphere of this winery is super chill which we personally liked. Dogs and chickens running around, rustic tables with indoor and outdoor seating, old rock music, and everyone was dressed very casually. They were also child friendly and allow outside food. The sommeliers were nice but didn't provide any information about the wine, unless you happened to get the owner pouring. The wine itself was a miss for us. It was very unfiltered which we're not used to and apparently not fans of. Also they only waive a tasting fee with the purchase of $100.

A hidden gem in Livermore. It has a very rustic style and love how the place is kid & pet friendly. No reservations needed for small groups (4). We started out with Sangria (perfect for hot weather), TriPawd, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Cabernet, Bold Cabernet and Port wine. We didn't get the chance to taste any whites as they were sold out. That made me wonder, I must go back to taste! - Parking may not seem brought, but there's extra at the back. - Be prepared to see chicken/rooster on loose (my daughter loved them)- friendly dogs roam around -$25 tasting, doesn't go towards anything if you buy their wines.- wine tasting is different here, you have to go up to the counter if you're ready for the next pour. Different experience, but still great so you're not just sitting down.

BoaVentura is a small production winery located in Livermore--only 45 minutes from the Oakland Hills. It is a great place to take the whole family, including pets. Keep in mind that they are only open on the weekends. Tasting fee is $25 for a flight of 9 wines. They had sold out of their 2016 Blue Label Cabinet Sauvignon, which was was one of their 9 wines included in the flight. They added their port in place of the one that sold out.We enjoyed tasting all the wines, but truthfully, we went to get out of the house. We loved going there!!! It was bright and cheery. There was so much to look at! They had a chicken house that was well fenced with chickens scratching in the chicken yard. Kids of all ages enjoyed watching the chickens. I enjoyed looking at all of the creative artwork in the yard, and in the barn where the sold wine was picked up. They even had Bocci Ball. I imagine that we will go there again!
