Very cool little place in an unassuming mini mall. They have a beautiful shelf of bottles, and a solid menu of both drinks and food. Service was friendly and low key.I got the Oaxacan Old Fashioned, a variation on the traditional drink with mezcal instead of bourbon and mole bitters instead of the usual, and it was very good and a little spicy in a nicely pleasant way.To go with it, I ordered the habanero crème brûlée, which was well made and a generous serving (5-inch dish, about half an inch thick). You could easily split this across 2-4 people, because it can be spicy af (any individual nibble might just take you down). Really a fun dessert.I don't want to say something like "this is the coolest bar in San Pablo", because that ain't saying much. It's just a straight up cool bar.

First and foremost this is a vibe of a place to go to if you live in the area. Limitations in parking and suspect people walking around in the parking lot. My wife and I went at about 8pm on 2/21/2025. To start I will say drinks: 9/10 ambiance: 9/10 EVERYTHING ELSE GOES DOWN HILL. Please look at the photos and video of my $17 Bone Marrow that I literally ate with two chips. It had no marrow whatsoever. But I'm not really one to complain about it rather bring it to attention to our waitress. She asked did I want to do a bone shooter (a tequila shot with the bone) and I told her I can't because this bone doesn't go all the way through and barely had anything in it. Her response: "Dang you got a bad bone"! And walked off. After this:Our waitress had her own date apparently. Her significant other sat next to us, and in front of everyone opened a bag with weed and gummies and asked her if she wanted one....she said yes! He ordered them a plate of tacos, once they arrived, she immediately sat or stood next to us and began to eat. Now I'm an understanding individual and everyone gets a break. But from a customer service perspective it would be nice to have your waitress tell you she is doing just that. Now my wife and I have the awkward moment of seeing who was going to take our next round of drinks. After sometime, one gentleman asked if we wanted something else and by that time we found it best to take our business elsewhere. In all I would come back to this place for drinks and socializing. I would never order food again, and I would avoid the waitress I had altogether.

Such an awesome spot in San Pablo. Tha k you to BoozyBrunch for recommending this place. The drinks are amazing and we had some churros which were also amazing. Only thing is, it's COLD when they open the windows. Come prepared with warm clothing.

First time I've ever wanted to gate keep because boy is this a hidden gem! This is the second time I've been influenced to come out to Richmond/San Pablo for a new spot, but unlike another spot this place met and exceeded expectations. So glad there's a lounge with good eats in the area. Spot is in an unassuming plaza with a small parking lot, but in the middle of the week twas no issue. Came to catch up with an old friend and we both left pleasantly surprised, starting with seating. They have a window bar with stools literally outside which made me think this could be a dog friendly out there but not certain. Anyway we chose to eat inside and ordered food and drinks. Everything was delicious ... the queso fundido, the tomatillo soup, the slushies... I'd reorder all of them but truth be told I probably won't just to taste what else is good. Will definitely be back and can't wait!

Amazing new addition to Richmond/San Pablo!! Very cool ambiance and friendly service as soon as you open that red door. The food and drinks did not disappoint! Every cocktail we tried was so delicious and you could taste the alcohol, not too strong. Loved the Esmeralda (sweet), the Sol Sangra (flavorful with a twist), and Tiki Mamacita (a fun sweet margarita). Basically any drink we ordered made us happier and happier lol.Food was delicious and great portions! Enjoyed the nachos (perfectly loaded), beef empanadas with a yummy spicy sauce, queso fundido, and crème brûlée with a twist (spicy AF), and churros (warm and sweet with caramel and chocolate sauce) for dessert. Life is good at Blue Rabbit Bar!Oh there's also outside barstool seating ready for overflow or if you a cool outdoor experience while you vibe. Bathroom is clean and spacious in the back of the bar. Parking is limited, it's right in the middle of the plaza so come early or expect to look for street parking.

Absolutely stoked there's a new bar in San Pablo! This spot has delicious drinks and food. I love their frozen cocktails, which are mango mezcal or tequila passionfruit. Delicious even in the winter! I also had some good bites here, the spicy salsa and chips and fundido hit the spot. This place is also a great date night spot with low lighting and chill vibes, or a good place to grab a quick drink while you wait for your laundry (there's a laundromat in the same complex.) please check it out!

I decided to venture out of my normal neighborhoods to check out this new bar. It's in this small corner area of shops, just look for the rabbit + leaves light. It's actually a blend of outdoor indoor because the whole front wall opens to the outside. We missed the happy hour but got the macario and aji Fuego cocktails which were pretty good. Churros came out warm and I actually liked the caramel sauce better than the chocolate sauce. Chips and salsa gives you 4 options of salsa to choose from. It's worth a visit if you're close by.

I love that we finally have a nice bar in the area! The drinks were amazing. They're not tooooo strong and not tooooo sweet. We got the short rib ramen which was good with the udon noodles; the Aguachile was missing something but once we asked for a side of jalapeños it was better! The empanada and queso Fundido were also pretty tasty. Note: this is an agave bar so it's mostly tequila but they do have substitutions if that's not your cup of tea. The seating and parking is a bit limited so I suggest getting there a bit earlier or only come if you're willing to wait a bit. There is also street parking nearby.
