BLOC15 Event Venue

Date: 2/24/2024 Time:12 PM 69° Sunny & warmBLOC15 is the venue for the Oakland Fans Fan Fest 2024. The building is spacious for any type of events. However, my main focus is on the organizers of this event - the Oakland 68's and Last Dive Bar.Indeed the building and the outdoor areas were filled with many vendors selling tee shirts, caps, beer, food, etc. There was also live entertainment (bands, former players, music groups), and some vendors had freebies (swags).I have to give kudos to the two above-mentioned organizers for planning a wonderful Fan Fest for the fans of baseball, all happening in Oakland. They did something that a certain owner has not done since 2019, a fan fest. There were a few former Oakland A's players who appeared and talked to us fans. The owner and DK are determined to take a professional baseball team out of Oakland and have them play in Las Vegas. I did not linger too long indoors at this venue. There were too many people in the building and it is unfortunate that I am claustrophobic. The surrounding areas outdoors had activities. Finally, sitting on some stairs I had to chuckle to myself because this fan fest was taking place not too far from the Oakland A's headquarters, which is located at one end of Harrison Street on the third floor.

We recently hosted an event at Bloc15 and everything turned out amazing. The owners and staff there were super accommodating to us. Their pricing for our non-profit was great. The building can accommodate about 1000 people. There's several restrooms on the ground floor as well as a commercial kitchen. There is also two rooms upstairs that have a foyer and connect to each other with a restroom in the middle. One room has a sink and one has a mini fridge. There is a sound system that can be connected to with different color lighting. There's also art on the walls and limited seating that can be moved around the venue to give different options. For our event, we used some of the high tables upstairs in the rooms as well as the more cushiony seating to create a green room. Beverages were kept in the fridge in one room. While food was kept in the other room. Downstairs there was a small stage that we used for interviews and we were able to hang up signs using wall putty and zip ties. This is a very versatile venue and I would highly recommend it for your next event or special occasion.

This multi use venue has kitchen, restrooms, plenty of space with decor and moveable dividers plus artwork to make any event just right!

I want to give kudos to Bloc15 for providing a great space for Last Dive Bar the Oakland 68s to put together Fans Fest on February 24, 2024. It was a wonderful day and great venue where Oakland fans could gather to celebrate Oakland sports!Bloc15 itself is a spacious venue and worked perfectly for this event. While there were outdoor festivities as well, it was nice to have options that were both indoors and outdoors.Thank you, Bloc15!

This is a great place to host any type of event. Tons of room, great acoustics, and a wonderful staff. It can accommodate well over 250 people, and there are various types of room layouts depending on your occasions.

Bloc15 is a great venue and definitely recommend it!Our company wanted to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and were looking for a space big enough for about 250 people. Bloc15 is in the Jack London Square area and has a parking structure right across the street. I contacted Stacy who was just so great to work with. Amazing communication and super helpful. When I say amazing communication, I could always count on her getting back to me so quickly. The space is so reasonable in terms of pricing and Stacy was able to answer all and any questions we had. She truly made this event the easiest I've ever booked. The day of, Qais and his team were super helpful as well. We were able to load in 2 hours before event time and he was always close by for any questions. Overall, we are going to keep Bloc15 in mind for any future events!

Bloc15 Event Venue isn't daily. it could be. it's open whenever it's booked. chanced upon them while grabbing a brew to go at Oakland United Beerworks next door.Bloc15 is an huge commerical building @Alice & 2nd st. hiding in plain sight with no signage/contact info posted. 2 entrances in front with peek thru window panels. i saw a vast convention sized hall inside. a nice alternative to hotel venues or convention halls. a railed, graded pathway is a slight deterrent to random passersby from entering. across the street is Amtrak & Esports Arena on 2nd, Yia Yia's Sandwiches on Alice. Oakland United Beerworks is next door. parking on street and garages nearby.

Our original venue permanently closed due to COVID but Bloc15 saved our big day! They were so supportive, responsive, flexible & helpful. We cannot thank them enough for making our big day so special! Their ability to shift lighting throughout the night was awesome and the space fit all of our guest comfortably - 150 people for a seated dinner with a full bar, large dance floor, and a head table that seated 20 people across! A perfect night and a perfect venue!

From the first site visit to the last minute of load-out, Stacy and her team could not have been better at providing top rank venue management services for Visit Oakland's first annual event for over 200 guests on May 10, 2023. The communication was always clear, upbeat and professional. As a Certified Event Designer and event planner, both myself and Visit Oakland would work with BLOC15 again and recommend them for any type of event. Accomodating, patient and wonderful energy truly inspired a sense of trust and comraderie. The venue is just gorgeous---centrally located, airy, modular, with beautiful lighting and sound systems. The rental package was the perfect foundation for us to add on AV for the main presentation and the musical performances by Kev Choice, and members of the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir, as well as West Coast Blues Society. Our guests, vendors and performers are still talking about the May 10th celebration of Oakland tourism.
