Hands down the best bubble tea I've had! The boba was perfectly chewy, and the tea was just the right sweetness. Staff were super friendly and quick with orders. Finished my cup and already thinking about my next visit. 5/5, highly recommend!

i love binge coffee!! since theyve opened last semester, my friends and i have been here 10+ times... ive tried almost all the coffees here - my favorite being the pandan coffee (less sweet) followed by the binge house coffee. other notable favorites among the people are - mango matcha, pandan matcha, ube coffee!! ive also tried the pandan waffle and the banh mis and theyre v yummy as well i love coming here to study!! not the quietest, but i dont like silent places and prefer ambience - they have outlets along the wall so super convenient if youre able to snag a spot there. the service is always so nice and i love hearing the workers interact w their customers. theyre so good at recognizing regulars :oi really missed vietnamese coffee shops since there's so many in orange county so i was really happy when they opened in berkeley - makes me feel like im at home :) i cant wait to see their new flavors soon!

First time at Binge Coffee House! Parking is limited as it is only street parking, but there are nearby parking garages that are a decent/short walk. It is located across from Great China and replaced U-Cha. There are a decent amount of tables for people to do work in/study. It could get crowded so if you are planning on spending time there definitely plan to go early or mentally prepare to wait for a table/seat to open up. They have 2 kiosks for people to order from and their menu has a good variety of drinks, food, and snacks. What we ordered: - Pandan matcha- Vietnamese coffee- Black sesame Coffee- Pandan waffle - Grilled Pork Banhh Mi - Regular combination Banh Mi - Popcorn Chicken Our favorite items were the Black Sesame Coffee and the Pandan waffle. We did feel that some of items are a bit overpriced. The banh mis were yummy, but they were basically $10 each which felt a bit steep considering how much was in the banh mi itself. The Black Sesame Coffee was definitely the winner amongst the drinks we ordered. The pandan matcha tasted a bit water down, you could not really taste the pandan, but I am willing to try it again another time to give it another chance since it seems to be a popular drink. My friend said the Viet coffee was nothing special, but if you are in town and craving viet coffee then definitely give this place a try. The popcorn chicken was also nothing special, met expectations, but again, a bit overpriced, but I know this is Berkeley pricing. The pandan waffle was another one of my faves because they did add some coconut bits into the waffle and it actually had pandan flavor instead of it just being green. I would definitely get the pandan waffle again. I would definitely come back to try another one of their drinks and just hang out. I am glad that this type of cafe opened up in the East Bay!!

Yall, I was convinced this was a chain with how sleek and modern their decor/branding is. NOPE, this is their FIRST store. Their design team is A+++. And the drinks are as delicious as they are pretty. I'm impressed! We swung by on a weekend afternoon after seeing their vibrant business photos on Yelp... Drawn like a moth to a flame :') This took over U-Cha, formerly beloved college watering hole. While I'm grieving their boba noodles, it's a relief that its replacement is a worthy successor. We placed our orders on a kiosk and waited around 5~ mins. Staff are lively and courteous.UBE COFFEE: Has a true ube flavor, which oddly heightens the coffee's sweetness. And so creamy once you mix in the cold foam. Ube is having a serious renaissance right now.PANDAN MATCHA LATTE (with boba): Pandan is definitely the next big thing. I've loved old-school Viet/Thai desserts for ages and am pleased it's becoming more mainstream in the US. Adding this to matcha is *chefs kiss*. So richly flavorful together. Just when I thought Berkeley didn't need any more boba shops, Binge completely won me over LOL. Need to try their other drinks (eyeing that Phin Drip...) ASAP ^_^

Love this cozy and simple coffee/boba house! We were strolling around Berkeley, and found this gem. Location wise this place is perfect for students grabbing their caffeine booster. They have wide variety selection of matcha drinks, as well as Vietnamese coffee. My favorite is Black Sesame Latte. The amount of sweetness is perfect for me, and the coffee is not too strong which complements the foam very well. My second favorite is their Banana Vietnamese coffee. I've been to many coffee places, not too many places sell this drink. They use real banana pure mixed with Vietnamese coffee. If you love banana drink, you would love this drink. They also have so many snacks to choose from, my favorite is their popcorn chicken and pandan waffle. LOVE the pandan waffle since it's combined with coconut flake. You need to visit this place when you're in Berkeley.

Came here on a Sunday, placed an online order for a banh mi Dac biet and an eggs coffee, my sister also got an uber coffee.Coffee was good, banh mi was just okay. The bread was dry and tasted like it was a day old, the filling was good but wish it was a little more considering the banh mi is almost $10.

Binge Coffee House, what a fun addition to Bancroft! Upon entering you can already tell this is the new spot to be ~ located across from Great China and essentially across the street from the Cal Berkeley campus, students flock here to grab & go, and also noticed a few laptops that wanted to sit & stay a while. I'm a big matcha fan, but not sure if I've ever truly tried 'ceremonial matcha' before. I scrolled through the menu and the manager helped guide me through the most popular drinks and what he enjoys ordering. I'll drop a few examples here of this beautiful menu: Egg Coffee, Pandan Coffee, Black Sesame Coffee, Strawberry Matcha Latte, and Banana Latte. There are also freshly brewed teas, milk teas, iced-blends, and also caffeine-free drinks. I went with the Sesame Matcha Latte ~ a Ceremonial matcha with roasted black sesame cold foam. The foam, pillowy soft and decadent! The runner-up choice I'll try for next time was no doubt the Banana Matcha ~ with banana puree, toffee bits, cheese foam. I've never had cheese foam before but have heard so much about it as a trending topping that doesn't actually taste like cheese? If you're reading this and have tried it, sound off in the comments, would love to learn more! There's also yummy snacks to choose from ~ we tried a banh mi, popcorn chicken, and the manager brought over a pandan waffle for us to share which was so incredibly sweet because we must have been chatting about how good that sounded! Flavors were just right ~ loved the sweet & saltiness, paired so well with the matcha. The banh mi was delicious, filled with tender meat and loaded with creamy mayo, pickled veggies, on a perfectly crunch baguette..popcorn chicken hit the spot and the pandan waffle was a perfect ending bite. Prices are fair, only big thing to note is street parking can be challenging around this corner/area. I always park at a specific garage if I'm heading to Shattuck that's a few blocks away (next to the old California theatre) because there's always other businesses I love to visit ~ and there seems to be quite a few new spots besides Binge opening in the area..exciting to see!

As a matcha lover, I knew I had to visit Binge after seeing posts on IG and looking at their menu. My companion and I came on a weekend afternoon for a caffeine pick-me-up. We enjoyed our experience!Binge Coffee House is located in the former Ucha space. The cafe is on the smaller end with several small tables inside (for pairs). Bright, cozy, and popular--a hot spot for Cal students to hang out or take drinks to go. Saw a few people with their laptops, but not a good place to work in my opinion. Ordering is efficient, you order on the tablets and wait for your name to be called. We had a few questions regarding the ingredients in the drink. The worker was extremely helpful and went above and beyond for me. I don't drink dairy but wanted to try drinks that didn't have a non-dairy option. He kindly told staff to omit the dairy and use non-dairy milk (free of charge, even though I insisted)! If you have any restrictions, I encourage you to talk to staff vs ordering on the tablet.I got a Pandan Matcha, and my companion had a Banana Matcha, both with Oat Milk and less sweetness. We agreed that the drinks are heavy on flavoring versus matcha. The pandan was prevalent and the same with the banana. Even with less sweetness, it was still pretty sweet. We found the drinks to be filling. For matcha and coffee lovers looking for a flavorful drink, Binge is a nice addition to the area. The cafe is located on the corner of Bancroft, and easily accessible by foot. Parking is limited to the street (metered or residential). The drinks were good and I wouldn't mind coming back to try their other offerings.

Amazing matcha drinks here! I think this establishment is related to "Boba Binge" in Oakland, but this one focuses more heavily on coffee and matcha drinks.WHAT WE ORDERED:- Strawberry Matcha Latte (Regular Sweet): 5/5, perfect blend of strawberry puree and matcha. The matcha was smooth and creamy. - Ube Matcha Latte (Regular Sweet): 5/5, the Ube flavor was strong and evident in the drink. Most places try to do Ube but the flavor profile fails to come through fully. This place did not miss.Service was quick. Slightly limited seating. Only downside that it is quite pricey.

The banh mi was DELICIOUS!! Quick service and staff was extremely friendly. Also got the mango matcha and it was one of the best ones I've had.Only downside is it's pretty small inside and bc it's super popular, there's never any seating.
