Best Coast Burritos Rockridge

5108 BroadwayOakland, CA 94611This is Best Coast Burritos at "The Ridge" shopping center in Oakland's Rockridge area. This is was my first time trying this place. It's a assembly line style restaurant, you tell them what you want and they put together your order. I ordered:- Baja Fish tacos (3), Grade 3/5- Chicken Burrito, Grade 4/5 with: Flour Tortilla, Pollo Asado, No Rice, Add Cilantro, Add Jalapenos, Add Onion, Add Shredded Cheese, Add Sour Cream, Add Tomato,Wow, everything I asked for was stuffed in that burrito. I thought it would come with refried beans, but I guess you have to ask for it. It would of helped hold everything together. As I tried to eat it, chunks of chicken kept falling out. The burrito was more like a wrap sandwich, than a burrito. But to be fair, I did cut it in half to get that food photo! The camera always eats first! But it was a good chicken burrito. The chicken was moist and flavorful.The Baja Fish Tacos were okay for the price. They were dressed up really nice, but I didn't get alot of fish pieces. The flavor was lost. Service was quick and prompt. They kept the line moving without being rude or pushy. Good service, Grade 4/5.Free parking in shopping center.

I had a lot of recommendations to come to check out this place. I ordered both a breakfast burrito and a Carne Asada burrito. The breakfast burrito was definitely very tasty. I will definitely come back to have another one. It was super delicious. The Carne Asada burrito was OK nothing spectacular. The red spicy salsa was also very good

I have gone often in the past build up some reward points unfortunately within this past week I went to place my order found out it's under new ownership and I no longer have my rewards points. My burrito bowl was tasty, it's just portion size was so small. I barely got rice beans a little lettuce a dab of sour cream like 2 or 3 teaspoons of " protein" steak. It was tender. The burrito bowl did not hit the top of the half of the container. Rice isn't expensive beans are cheap lettuce doesn't cost much of anything sour cream a dallop ..a sprinkle of onions. Burritos and tacos used to be one of the least expensive things you can buy for meal. At this rate it won't be long the restaurants will be extinct. If you want a customer to return and also recommend to others. There are things to be considered.

I would say this place is pretty good, not great, but very good.Located in The Ridge shopping center, Best Coast Burritos has an East Bay feel as soon as you walk in.This was my 2nd time here, I went with the salad both times cause it was good and filling. They definitely don't skimp on their portions, they give you plenty of food.The service was good, prices decent. Now, I came on a Friday, and the Specials board outside said 'Free Chips Friday' with meal purchase on it. I didn't remember until I was almost done, so I didn't bother asking for the chips, but it would have been nice if they had remembered since they wrote it down.And $2.50 for guacamole is pretty steep to me,.But other than that, this was a good place!!

Twice I ordered through Grubhub, twice it came wrong. I asked for guacamole, pico, and sour cream on the side. There were no sides, so I inquired the second time. I asked the man helping me to see a receipt (so I could see if it just wasn't on there). Maria came over said there are no receipts for mobile orders. The man pulled it up on their tablet, and sure enough there was my note to put all 3 on the side. That's when Maria said they will put everything in the burrito unless I make a note in the individual item (the guac, the pico, the sour cream) and everything in the note will come on the side). This just doesn't seem correct, and Maria could not have been less helpful or more rude.*Note: This is not an option on my app. *Also note: You didn't give me sides anyway, Maria. *Also also: Would it be possible for the employees to read orders and not make up arbitrary, impossible to follow rules?

They're really pushing it to the limit with prices here. $15. for a burrito which while good, was no better than something like Chipotle. Chipotle prices are also rising though too I guess.

While on my mini vacation, babe was looking for a good Shrimp Burrito so I came across this spot. Let me tell you, skip Chipotle and come here.. If your a bay area native or an out-of-towner. The burritos here are MASSIVE!! you will definitely get a bang for your buck. The menu is not large but you can order from the menu or build your own. Babe said the shrimp burrito was very filling and huge but only came with 6 shrimp( a little more would be awesome), the flavors were there and black and pinto beans were added to the burrito, which sent it over the top. On a scale from 1-10 babe gave this burrito an 8 1/2 and another visit when we're back in the bay.

I looooove this spot! I know, in California there are a many, many great spots for burritos. This place is one of those you just have to go and try! I've been to this restaurant a few times and just went again to try the Korean bulgogi burrito. Omg I love this burrito! The combination of the bulgogi meat, kimchi and rice wrapped in a burrito just makes your taste senses explode! I highly recommend all the burritos at this place, but definitely the Korean bulgogi burrito! The restaurant is very clean and they prepare the food in front of you. There are seats outside to enjoy your food and there is plenty of parking in the lot. Price is very reasonable and the quality of food is very high. Staff is super pleasant! There are two locations in the East Bay, so make sure to check the website and visit both locations!

I usually love this place!! But today I got a Carnitas Bowl there was a full on HUGE fly dead in the food. It was really gross. I took the food to go and immediately threw away and couldn't eat for awhile after. I understand these things happen! But I emailed you guys pictures and everything and I haven't received any response. I would really like a refund and would be open to being a patron again if the issues is properly addressed.

Excellent customer service makes you feel right at home this excellent establishment with amazing people and a beautiful scenery of the plaza of Rockridge has a surreal field and all the beautifully seasoned burritos with the crisp french fries is A perfect late night meal or brunch spot
