I've been coming to Becky's for years, and I'm remiss for taking so long to write a review.It's a solid choice for Chinese food - both authentic and typically fare, and even when they are super busy, their kitchen somehow works magic.Their menu is pretty diverse, but you can also ask for things that you like. Be sure to check out their daily specials, because those will be some of your more interesting choices and will typically have the freshest veggies.If you're ordering to-go, you can also avoid plastic waste by asking them to put your food in paper containers - or better yet, bring your own reusables.

I come here often. It's my go-to for Chinese food. Most of their specials are good. Most of their items are good. The service is attentive and friendly and pickup works well too. I wish they took AMEX.

I started going to this restaurant in 2004. Last year I sorta got their food delivered. The way they make it is better than a lot of places. For some reason it's only one of the Chinese Restaurants that seems real.

This place is good, we order on DoorDash when we are being lazy. Sometimes the chicken is not cooked to death but most of the time it's cooked so long it's inedible. Unfortunately that goes for the beef too. The fried rice is seasoned nicely and always arrives hot. Before Covid they always sent out something free with our meal, not anymore but inflation is real so I get it.

This is my second time ordering from Becky's. The first time, when I picked up my food, the woman who took my payment was so rude it was embarrassing. The food was very good and so i thought I'd try again. Today I ordered via delivery. $43 for beef chow mein and the "lunch special" sweet and sour prawns. The chow mein was very oily but eatable. The sweet and sour prawns were ALL BATTER! There is little to no sauce. When i cut it open, they had cut the prawns in thirds and battered it heavily. I included a photo. I won't be back.

Really great service! Made reservations on the weekend with a large party (about 20 people) and they were very accommodating and attentive. The food is really tasty, but my favorites would be the honey walnut shrimp (a classic) and their snow pea leaf shoots (another classic). The salt and pepper beef and the sweet and sour pork were also delicious! The food came out quickly and the entire party left full and satisfied. I would definitely come again to try more dishes!

I'm just giddy that we tried Becky's. In the place I lived before moving to Oakland, there was an expensive, high-end Chinese place we loved. The freshest vegetables, the best ingredients. We Doordashed every option and fairly hated all of them. Then we found Becky's.We've tried it three times and like it better each time. Even Doordashed, it shows up piping hot and wonderfully presented. The walnut prawns are excellent. The wor won ton soup was what I've been looking for since we moved here 5 years ago. I drive by the location on College Ave. almost every day but never thought of stopping in. Can't wait to try it in person.

First, encountering the beautiful wooden model boats suspended from the ceiling as the friendly maitre d'i showed us to our table brought joy. The Buddhist shrine and statues were reverently displayed also.Best, of course, was the delicious food, elegantly plated and served. I'd eat there daily if I could.
