Bayview Meat & Fish

I was out looking for lamb chops in Richmond, which I ultimately found. While on my quest, I stopped in at Bayview. As mentioned by other reviewers, the area is rather dicey, but I was there, so I went in and checked it out. The meat counter is large and varied, but much of the items are frozen. They had boneless ribeyes which were fresh, and the guy behind the counter sold me one. I was not sure how it would be, but I pan-fried it the following night, and it was good. Not a place I'd go out of my way to visit, but the quality is there,

Has great hard to find specialty items that other grocery stores don't carry - but you certainly pay the price for them. Soooo expensive!!!

Great service. I go here for meat all the time. The prices and quality are good! I go here on a regular basis for all my meat. I would recommend this place to all who want good quality meat and great service. Definitely check them out. You can't go wrong.

Best hot links and steaks in the bay. I've been to a number of carniaceras and this place definitely has the most competitive pricing and quality meats. Customer service is another huge plus, folks go out of their way to ensure excellence. My go-to spot for family dinners, BBQs and Steak/Potato nights.Wish they expanded to SF - would love to have them in the city!

Loved the service the people behind the counter were very nice and patient with me asking questions. Also, unlike some meat markets, it did not smell when you walked in. Ill be going here all the time for now on.
