I was just returning something at Target and saw the canopies. I did not know they had a Farmers' Market here! I was quite impressed too! One of the better ones fersure! Lots of canopies. Lots of food options. People were friendly. Welcoming vibes. They even had a guy playing an instrument there. I love when farmers markets have hot food ready to eat. They had baked potatoes, dumplings, falafels, tamales, etc. I ended up getting a pupusa for $4 and it was delicious! The pricing on the produce was very fair too. I definitely enjoyed taking a stroll down the aisles. It was such a pleasant surprise. Now that I know its here, I might be coming more often!

Amazing deals, amazing vendors and amazing flavors! I bought the freshest, juiciest peaches I've bought in forever from the best lil' stand. I asked for a sample first and they were kind enough to give me one and then show me which ones were the ripest to pick. (Apparently you should look for the lil' freckles not just the right firmness.) Then I scored 3 small succulents for $5 and 3 large succulents for $10 from Romero's plant stand. All in all, I walked away feeling hella wealthy in fruit and plant goodness. (What other kind of wealth even matters once you have that?) I'll definitely be back when I need more deliciousness.

Small, but they give samples of food. Got to taste the fruits and the plums were really sweet. Pupusa was $4 and the mix (beans, cheese, and pork) was really good. Got some granolas. The watermelon was tasteful.

One of my favorite markets. Lots of fresh produce, not so many hot food choices but definitely come for the coffee from 1988 , amazing baked goods, and granola.

Absolutely love the vibe of a good local farmer's market especially one that is by my parent's house. Whenever I visit home on the occasional weekend, I always pass by this market on my way to Bayfair and only recently got a chance to experience it for myself. Simply put - one of the best! The market is situated in the parking lot close to the Starbucks. It's split off into two sections: one with a massive amount of produce and meats, and the other featuring food carts and homemade goods like ceramics, lotions, candles, etc. All of the greens here looked fresh and there was an abundance of options. I especially loved seeing the variety of mushrooms available that you'd not often find in large markets.Note: most of the stalls prefer cash but some will allow Apple or Google Pay/cards if you meet their minimum. They also had a musical performance taking place during my walk around. It's so nice to get some good local vibes from a market especially during these trying times. Very family friendly and and everyone was masked up as far as I could tell. If you haven't already, you must give this spot a try.

By far the best farmers market near my house. I purchase from the same vendors every time. Always fresh and flavorful. I would rather buy fresh from them instead of the store. The vendors are friendly and offer samples. I immediately wash everything and clean it and cut it up and put in containers, can't wait to eat the fresh produce. And don't forget dessert, some really delicious choices and a good variety. I will continue to support these hard working people. I heard Bay Fair has been sold and there will be housing built there, hopefully the farmers market remains, if not, perhaps close by if anything, but don't close it.Support our farmers!!

IMO The best farmers market in the East Bay area of the 5 I have tried. (using Hayward , San Leandro, Fremont and Castro Valley as a basis for comparison) Here are reasons why:* The vendors here are very kind (with the exception of one or two dip shits)* Quality fresh produce*. Great value and prices for what you get*. Good vibe here not hoity-toity but still great quality!*. Excellent variety, They have items here I don't see elsewhere in particular a mushroom stand, honey stand and a stand that sells baked goods, hummus, handmade soaps, and food stands including pupusa's and Mediterranean food (both very good!) There is also a great flower stand that offers all kinds of great flowers at great prices!Check it out for your self!

This is a great way to start your Saturday morning. This place offers all kinds of different things. There were at least 3 or 4 different bakeries, a fish market stand, 2 people selling fresh made bottled juice, etc. This market has definitely grown and become more diverse in what they offer since the last time i was here a few years ago. I really enjoyed it. I got a whole bunch of stuff when i went. There were a good amount of people, but it was not too crowded, as i hear some Farmer's Markets can be. This one will for sure be on my rotation of markets to go to, as i like to support my local farmer's.
