Quiet on a weekday around 7pm - plenty of street parking with meters that are free after 6 pm.The staff are polite, prompt and attentive.I ordered a green curry with duck and sticky rice ($3) - when I asked for green curry, I am asking for all the usual ingredients that go with it + duck as my protein. Instead what I received was the green version of a duck red curry with pineapple and bell peppers, which I can still accept. What was unacceptable was that both the pineapple and duck tasted like it has gone bad - the duck was very salty, almost like the beginning stage of cured duck. The sticky rice was okay.My total ~$24 before tax.

It's hard to spend less than $20 per person anywhere on lunch these days, but Bangkok Thai seriously gives you the most bang for your buck for less than $15, and I am so lucky to work nearby. Their menu is extensive with lots of options for various diets, plus they have an online ordering system which is great for group ordering. They also have a pretty broad dessert menu that includes three different types of ice cream (coconut, green tea, Thai tea) and roti. Although I have quite the sweet tooth, I do think their Thai iced tea and and coffee are too sugary, but that doesn't stop me from going regularly.

Nice pad see ew (not dry, not oily) and nice ambience. They have a reasonably priced lunch special, and I'm excited to try the duck next time I go. There are big windows, and I enjoy eating my food and watching the scenery outside. Staff are nice.

This restaurant is amazing! The service is very friendly and prompt! The prices are reasonable! The food is delicious and we always overeat because it's just that good! We have two picky eaters, and they love this place. We get the chicken satay with sticky rice, the bbq pork, the pad see ew, red and yellow curry, and the deep fried spicy fish (seriously, so good)! Don't forget to get the mango sticky rice for dessert! This place is a gem! This is the best Thai food we've found!

This is my new favorite Thai place. They had quick service (takeout), delicious food, and reasonable portion sizes. So glad I gave it a try! Honestly, someone's description of the fried potato drew me in. Maybe I was just hungry, but I had to have them. They were hot, crispy yet tender, and so good, they did not disappoint. I was eating them so quickly I didn't even notice the dipping sauce until my husband pointed it out. We also had the pad see ew and chicken larb, and altogether it was enough food to last for 1.5 meals for two of us. (Easily over two meals for me alone, but alas)The food was ready in less than twenty minutes from when I placed my online order and since I was running an errand at target at the time it was easy to cross the street and pick it up before heading home. My only negative remark is that it's going to be hard to branch out since I just want to come back and eat here.

There seems to have been an improvement in the quality of the food over the past couple of years. I'm not certain if it's new ownership or they've hired a new chef who knows Thai food. It's been consistently good lately. I ordered the pumpkin curry this evening and was bit surprised at the consistency when I opened the container. I thought maybe I'd ordered a soup and not a 'stew-like' curry. However, the flavor was spot on and I'm happy it wasn't super heavy and saucy. Both the food and the service are wonderful and I'm happy to support this local business. And as a side note, I ordered all veg / vegan and they offered tofu as the alternate protein.

This is the family's "go to" Thai restaurant. They are consistently good, friendly, and with lots of options. Our family have three different levels of Thai spicy tolerance and Bangkok Thai hits them all.Appetizers are traditional and very good.My opinion is their curries are their specialties.Bangkok Thai is a very good Thai restaurant!

I have been here a few times usually getting a Pad Thai with either beef or tofu or the Pad See Ew also with either beef or tofu. Both taste excellent! The noodles are thick and tasty, while the beef has always been chewy but not too difficult and tofu has been firm and consistent. Both dishes are flavorful and make me full.Besides the food, the service is friendly and nice. The server greets you right away when entering and the times I have been there it hasn't been that busy so I was seated right away. The restaurant has nice decor and an inviting atmosphere, so it's a good spot to eat with family and friends or a place to bring a date. The space is big with plenty of seating, so there shouldn't be an issue getting a seat most nights. Honestly with how good the food is, the great ambiance and convenient location (right on University Ave across the Target) I'm surprised it hasn't been busier. Don't know about parking though (I usually walk or take public transit). Bangkok Thai is a great place to get Thai food.

The Pad Thai was disgustingly oily and sweet. The room was not heated and it was a cold day, which made for a unpleasant dining experience. The place is old, tired and worn. Needs a new chef and look. You can do a lot better elsewhere.
