Bambino’s Vallejo

Large portions and friendly staff. They were very busy, but once they noticed us it was all good. Staff was working well together and chatting with customers. When the food arrived, we were shocked at the size of the portions. Place was roomy with a stage and full bar. For just the two of us, it was very comfortable. We will bring our friends next time.

This was our first time there & such a wonderful treat!! Our server was very sweet & attentive!! Sorry I don't remember her name!! I am Italian and I felt right "at home" & delighted with the delicious chicken piccata that I ordered! Generous pieces of chicken & perfectly seasoned pasta!!! My husband enjoyed his order of "monstrous" meatballs in a toasted sandwich w/soup!You can tell...I hadn't had such a good meal since we moved to this area!!!I complimented on my way out and needless to say, we'll be back again!! My complements to the chef!!

First timer! Been meaning to try this place upon recommendations by a few coworkers. Warm friendly welcome when we entered & gave us a few minutes to look over the menu after being seated. We decided on a couple of lunch specials, chicken pesto sandwich with clam chowder & Tuesday Taco special (chicken as well). Both items were delicious! Also, since it was a Tuesday, they offered a free scoop of French Vanilla ice cream for each of us.We plan on returning to try their pizza...

Really enjoyable experience! The staff is so kind. We accidently didn't put our complete number on the wait-list and we went for a small walk to be called in about 20 minutes and one of the employees went outside to flag us down and tell us our table was ready. Super kind. Thank you! The food is amazing! We order a custom pizza: pepperoni, mushroom and pineapple and the ingredients were so fresh! The pizza is not greasy at all and taste fresh. I also ordered a drink...peach soda something. Very good and strong. Thanks for a great meal!

A very nice restaurant in downtown Vallejo. For appetizers we ordered onion rings and clam chowder. The onion rings were great. I loved that the batter was crispy, light and well seasoned. The clam chowder was good but I wouldn't call it a traditional clam chowder. It seemed to have a heavy mushroom base. I could be wrong but by taste and color that's what I believe it is. Again, it was good but not if you're looking for a traditional New England Clam Chowder. We both loved our pasta dishes. I made my own with rigatoni, blacked chicken and pesto. Hubby ordered the beef ravioli with the creamy bolognese. He said it needed a bit more salt. We both ordered cocktails. They have a pretty creative cocktail menu and also a full bar so you can order something else if there's not an option you want on their menu. Our waiter was very kind and patient. Highly recommend!

Hidden gem. Good food, good service, live music. Been here several times and we're never disapponted. Try the Smores Lava Cake;)

Came by with family the other week for dinner drinks and live music and had a great time. My mother in law and her band were playing so that is what brought us here but after having the food my partner and I definitely plan on coming back. A couple of us split a pizza, we ordered the Bambino's special. It was SO good. Everyone really enjoyed the food. I was indecisive on what to order for a drink so the server surprised me and it was really good. I highly recommend :)

Bland. Texture was good, plants of sauce, but it seems like salt or spices were not present in any of our orders. We ordered to go, hence not in the midst of the busy environment they have. Wait was long.

This pasta spot in downtown Vallejo totally exceeded my expectations! The food is incredible, full of flavor, and definitely a hidden gem. A must-try!

Wow, Vallejo has an outstanding Italian restaurant downtown. Had an early dinner of their Bambino's Spring Salad and Spaghetti w two meatballs, a Manhattan and Coke. The salad blew me away with delicious candied walnuts, cranberries, apple slices and a delicious Honey Basil Vinaigrette. Sooo Good!!! The spaghetti was served w a wonderful meat sauce and two excellent meatballs. The Manhattan was excellent opting for a in house aged bourbon that was out of this world, cudos to the bartender. Parking was easy, the table settings open, with a bar in the back with bar chairs for those that like to sit at the bar. Unexpectedly, they had about 3-4 monitors to watch sports if interested. Plenty of room to enjoy the experience, with bathrooms easily reached and very clean. Our waiters were young men, friendly, and willing to give excellent recommendations. I will be back!!!
