I needed a cake for my daughters 100 day birthday and had been eyeing Eileen's cakes for over a year - I finally had the chance to order one! I was not disappointed. The cake turned out beautiful and not only that - it tasted amazing. A lot of the time pretty cakes are just that - pretty. Flavor isn't always there but her cake tasted delicious too! We got the guava and at first I was worried it'd be too sweet but it was perfect with the cream cheese frosting.The number cake we got was like a piece of art - every detail was so carefully crafted. Even the little sprinkles were gorgeous! Eileen was very nice and made sure to give me instructions to make sure the cake was in tip top shape for our party. Highly recommended and can't wait to order more confections in the future!

Bakes By Eileen is by far the best bakery I've found in the Bay. I grew up in Boston among some of the best bakeries in the US, and the flavors and textures she comes up with are right on par (if not more creative).I literally order for every major event. She does beautiful vegan and non vegan cakes (I got one for my birthday) that are customized to your preference and design. She's prompt, communicative, and reasonably priced.Eileen works in buttercream, which is a lovely change of pace from typical fondant celebration cakes. Her thai tea cupcakes are out of this world.I cannot hype her baked goods enough-- we just finished off the Valentines Day 2021 box which included incredible macarons and cupcakes with merengue accents. She even locally sources her real flower decorations!I fully intend to order from her for all of my major life events, and you should too!

I've ordered cakes, cupcakes, and special treats from Eileen and she never disappoints! The thing that keeps me coming back to her is her professionalism and her unique flavors that are on point! I also love that her cakes and cupcakes are on the less sweeter side and are very flavorful! I'm totally waiting for her to add cream puffs to her menu ! She's really easy to work with as well. Totally recommend her cereal milk flavor and strawberry pistachio!

I'm a few weeks delinquent in yelping this really wonderful baking business. I had the fortune to order Lunar New Year mini cupcakes from Eileen. Visually, they were pretty and like little pieces of art. Her attention to detail is amazng, as is her design aesthetic. The cupcakes were a dark brown sugar cake with azuki bean paste - the flavor was so gentle and sublime and definitely a lovely cake flavor surprise. The rich buttercream frosting was so buttery and added the right balance to the cupcakes.Ordering was easy, efficient and customer friendly. I loved the quality of the packaging; like a gift box presenting the yummy jewels within. Overall attention to each detail start to finish is outstanding. If I could give 10 stars, I would! By far, one of the best birthday cakes I've ever had! Just a few of the amazing things about Eileen and her cakes listed below.- The cake was beyond aesthetically pleasing. We had given Eileen creative freedom to do whatever she thought was best and she definitely delivered! - It was one of the best tasting cakes I'd ever had (and all the guests agreed)! We opted for the flavor cereal milk, which was a brown sugar cereal milk cake with malted milk buttercream). My only regret was not ordering a size large so we'd have leftovers the next day. It was definitely a hit at the event though! For reference we had about 20 guests and a small was enough for a few people to have seconds.- Eileen was the perfect balance of professional and personal & was extremely accommodating. She was able to fulfill the cake within less than a week turnaround (only three days after all details and payments were finalized). We also had a 4pm pickup time and couldn't end up collecting the cake until 7pm, but Eileen was extremely kind and understanding.Overall, I could not recommend Bakes by Eileen more! We cannot wait to order our next cake from her and try all her flavors! Thank you so much Eileen for being such a huge contributor to my special day!

I've order cupcakes from Eileen several times now, and every time i've not only had a great experience with the purchase, but the cupcakes are amazing.These cupcakes are the first thing that comes to mind for any occasion. There is incredible attention to detail, Eileen is very good at making sure the request is met, and during the pandemic always practices social distancing, masks, contactless pick-up, etc.Would highly recommend!
