This place SUCKS, the old lady there was very rude and her hands looked dirty! The lady used one glove only to make the sandwiches and the other hand with no glove touching the food. Then half way she stopped making the sandwich and demanded me to pay first and she counted the money twice for only $5.50 to make sure it's correct and then she went back to make my sandwich without changing the glove after she touch the money. The sandwiches had barely anything inside. This place is terrible. Will NEVER EVER GO BACK AGAIN!

Yes, one of the cheapest banh mi places still left but it does taste like it. Its mostly become a place where local Chinese/Vietnamese hang out to chat and grab a bite. The contents and construction of the sandwich is good but proportionally, its a bit lacking in the fillings and flavor. There's not much zing to the pickles, the jalapenos don't add much bite, the meats are quite sparse and there's not enough sauce to counter all the fillings. The bun was also not shatteringly crunchy but rather on the dry side but the pate and mayo gave it that bite reminiscent of what banh mi dac biet should taste like. The coffee wasn't spectacular but just tasted like it should.I didn't expect much and luckily was just like the older folks in here, grabbing a morning bite before my meeting.

There is a reason they are always sold out in the afternoon. The bahn mi's are so good and cheap too! Only $6 per bahn mi. Buy four, get $2 discount. My family and I all love the grilled pork and combo bahn mi! The owners are both very friendly as well .

You get what you paid for. The prices are cheap & the store is quite small. The lady taking my order was a little curt but otherwise friendly. I came here because the restaurant down the street was closed. I ordered the chiew chou ho fun and was greatly disappointed. The soup was incredibly bland and there were barely any toppings. I had to put lots of condiments in to be able to finish the noodles.

I stopped by on a Monday afternoon, and was the only customer in the store. I love that they charge $5.50 for a chicken banh mi. It seems like all the other banh mi places in the Bay Area charge outrageously for $10+, and this is one of the last few decently-priced banh mi places. The ladies working here are really nice old ladies. They even asked me if I want jalapeño in my sandwich, and left me alone to eat in peace when I sat at one of the tables enjoying my fresh and crispy banh mi sandwich.

You show up at 3.25 pm and they don't have sandwich. I was told to call 2 hours before I show upI actually called at 3pm and no one answered. What's the point of a restaurant specialized in sandwiches when they don't have any on a Friday early afternoon.

One of the few places to get banh mi sandwiches in the area. They recently changed from buy 3 get one free to buy 4 and get $2 off. Still, it's a good deal to get 4 sandwiches for $20. We got the combo, the special, the pork, and the chicken sandwich. The bread was nicely crusty, and the fillings flavorful. Unfortunately, the pandemic and the current economic climate seems to have taken a toll on this business as they seem to have fewer employees working, so wait times for sandwiches can be long.

Came here to get Vietnamese sandwiches since we were craving it. This place is buy 3, get 1 free so everyone usually orders 4 sandwiches - comes out to be about $4 a sandwich. Makes sense to order 4, otherwise you will feel like you're overpaying for one sandwich. The bread is soft with a nice crunch, the meat is flavorful, pickled veggies are nice and sour. However, they could put wayyyyy more of everything in the sandwich. I feel like I was eating more bread than anything. Ice coffee was really good - strong and bitter! However, my sister found a hair in it which was gross. Don't want to ruin a local business but they should definitely be more careful and hygienic when making food for customers. Overall, food was good but a little light on the toppings. And the hair in coffee was gross even though the coffee itself was solid.

No frills type of cafe restaurant but the food is on point. I ordered a beef stew noodle and it was flavorful with just the right amount of spice. My dad ordered a peanut based noodle soup and that's his regular order here. Highly recommend! They also sell Vietnamese sandwiches

It's cheap, so I like that. They let you use the restroom there. I think the portions are generous. I mostly come for the sandwiches, and I like them. It's cash only. I had one of the soups once and I thought it tasted perfect. The old lady who works there is kind of rude. Ambiance is fine.
