Enjoyed this restaurant! I could smell the food aroma from the parking lot. Nice food portions. More than I could eat at one sitting. I had the fried fish with two sides. The cabbage-Greens side wasn't my favorite but with hot sauce I couldn't stop eating 'em. Mac-n-cheese was creamy and taste homemade. Menu prices are reasonable. More affordable and satisfying than other franchise restaurants in the area in my opinion. Service was great!!! Food was served timely and hot! I will definitely be back! My one comment is to see new owners add more of their own interior theme/style. I got the odd owners vibe which is fine. Picture decor was nice!!! I loved the black n white photos. Gave that grandma's kitchen vibe!!!

Disappointed when I walked in because the last time I ate here it was called chez zoul and it was thriving with staff and customers.Service: 0/5 Walked in expecting to be seated but was told by staff we could not sit down until we order our food at counter and our food would be served in to go boxes. Tables and seats were dirty, had to get cups and our own water. The cake and dessert showcase was empty. Ambiance: 1/5Food: 2/5 red velvet waffle was dry and cold and no butter was added and barely any powder sugar. on it. Had to ask for whip cream The chicken was good but I expected more flavor.My friend ordered the brisket fries he said they tasted ok and that fries was soggy from brisket soaked in grease. This restaurant has so much potential to be exceptional if they decide to expand the menu selection and maybe start collaborating with some innovative chefs. Change the backyard party decor and furniture Expand their drink selection by adding a bar.Happy hour specials... on food/drinks.

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, the service was incredibly disappointing.From the moment we walked in, we were not greeted or seated for at least five minutes, even though the restaurant was not busy. After finally being seated, it took another ten minutes for someone to take our order. The lack of attentiveness was frustrating.The biggest issue, however, was when our waitress (who had cornrows) told us they were out of fish, forcing us to order something we didn't really want. To our surprise, we later saw other customers who arrived after us being served fish. The waitress never came back to correct the mistake, offer an apology, or even a discount for the inconvenience. When I expressed my frustration, I was only able to speak with her instead of a manager, which was disappointing.If management is reading this, I highly suggest better training in customer service. It's unfortunate because we wanted to support a Black-owned business, but after this experience, my friends and I will not be returning. I hope improvements are made because no paying customer should have to deal with this kind of service.

Another spectacular meal at Aunt Bills. Was so good a week ago, had to come back and bring the parents!!! Service was great and atmosphere is always great. Music is great playing in the background. It's a whole vibe! 10 out of 10.. definitely recommend!!!Edited to add: now available, their rewards program to earn free food! Super excited

A hidden gem in Fairfield. Fried fish was on point. All the sides was really good. Greens were actually well seasoned. My fish was definitely seasoned and fried to perfection. Servers was super nice and on top of their jobs. Even the manager and chef came out to check on us to make sure we were having a good experience here. Will be back for other items on the menu. Came on a weekday. They were doing counter service (order at the counter) and to go orders. the staff was friendly and helpful. I liked how there are real family pictures on the walls. It adds a personal touch. I ordered the four wing meal which came with cornbread and two sides. I got mac n cheese and collared greens with smoked turkey in it. The cornbread is a big portion and tastes moist. It's sweet, bit not too much. The fried chicken was perfect and was not salty like other places I have tried. The mac n cheese was really cheesy and not dry. I also ordered a kool aid. It was the purple one which is my favorite. The taste of kool aid transported me back to memories of when I was a kid. My brother ordered oxtails and they were scrumptious! It was a large portion and I can't wait to order that next time! The quality of the food here was excellent. You must try if u like soul food.

This place opened up recently and I've been wanting to try it out with my fam so here I am. I ordered the tender oxtails which came with two sides and a cornbread or hush puppies. For my sides, I got the Mac and cheese and the devil eggs potato salad. I also opted for the cornbread. For my drink, I got the kool-aid. The oxtails were soo good and I like that they gave big portions. The Mac and cheese was pretty good too. The cheese was very stretchy. The potato salad as well as the cornbread also pretty solid. The kool-aid was good also. I forgot how good it was because I haven't had it since I was a kid so I was very excited about the kool-aid. The service here was really good as well. Our waitress was very kind. The restaurant has a lot of seating, nothing too crazy with the decor. When you enter they have a neon light sign of their restaurant which is kind of cool if you wanted to take a picture under it. In general, I had a great experience here. This is probably the best soul food joint I've been to in Solano County. We need more like this lol. Definitely recommend checking this spot out if you haven't already. Try it out if you like. :)

This is my second time coming in here within one week, but this time I came for the oxtail rice and gravy with the candied yams Smack and the mac & cheese smack. The oxtails were big portions for sure fall out the bone, tender and just the way I remember oxtail being made. pass by today in the afternoon and they remembered me from a few days ago so far the staff that I've encountered with were very polite and very welcoming

I heard about this place on FB. So, we decided to visit today. I had the chicken wings with Mac and cheese and yams. I also ordered a side of the dressing. The restaurant was extremely busy, but the food came out fresh and every item was seasoned to the T. My cousin had the fried fish with the greens and garlic mashed potatoes, she loved every items. The service was good and the waitress checked up on us. I didn't get her name, but she was awesome. I loved the atmosphere, which was clean. The bathroom was spotless. I mention that because I have a thing about bathrooms. The bathroom was well stocked. We will be back to try other items.
