They have great selection of products, the store is run by an amazing family and lastly, I make some of the best sandwiches you'll find Anywhere (literally) at an amazing price -for real- what else is there to say? give love to the neighborhood places that love you back!!!

I love this place! I've been going here for years. Whenever I go to Berkeley to get a sandwich, this is where I go. Their deli is like no other. Everything here is fresh and made to perfection. They have a variety of food and goods here also, and a good selection might I add. This place gives an old mom and pops feel and the family who owns the store is very welcoming and kind. They keep me coming back. And they're now serving boba !! Which I can't wait to try ! I absolutely love this place. - Also one of the only places that I can find beef salami, my daughters don't eat pork. And it's delicious!!

I've been coming to the Ashby Super Market for over a decade--best sandwiches in the Bay and the staff are some of the loveliest people you could ever meet! They recently added a boba stand which is also superb!

GRAB A WONDERFUL FRESHLY-MADE SANDWICH ON YOUR WAY BACK ON BART, OR BEFORE YOU SEE A SHOW AT SHOTGUNAbdul, Ray and the other lovely young man (I wish I could remember his name) make the most wonderful fresh sandwiches on the spot. They have mouth-watering honey roasted turkey and pepper turkey, with onions, olives, cheese, avocado... You can have your sandwich on buns or wheat, and toasted if you like. They want your every ingredient to be perfect for you! They are three of the loveliest young servers - it's a true pleasure to go in there. The sandwiches are always fantastic and inexpensive. And they've got an amazing range of well-priced groceries.

Hands down the BEST Tuna sandwich I have ever consumed in all my life! Am I being super dramatic, no. I'm dead, serious!I have driven by this market for the past 20 years or so and have never stopped till today. As soon as I walked in, to my right was a little deli featuring Boars Head meats. I love boars head! While perusing the menu board. Came to the conclusion that I wanted Tuna, I'm feeling Tuna. Tuna on wheat with Lettuce, tomato, black olives, pepperoncini and mustard. And awesome kind team member gave me free American cheese. In a world of "dollar" more, that was really pleasant. At first bite to the last, that sandwich was amazing, scrumptious AND messy. Which was just fine by me!These little amazing unexpected food encounters has really taught me something.A. I really love simple, made with care deli sandwiches. B. I really love simple good customer service. And what I mean by simple, is, acknowledgement of customers and committing to the task/job at hand. I am really sick and tired of seeing people do a job they have no business doing. If you don't like customer service you shouldn't be in customer service. If you don't like "serving" random customers, then don't. Get a job where you don't have to deal with the public. Anyway...Sorry, I digress.In my humble opinion, the artistry and all the fancy ways of doing restaurants don't mean a damn thing if these 2 components are absent.Good food and good service. That's all you need. It was nice to have a sandwich that I really loved eating!

Really cute little corner store, they've got basic produce- bananas, apples, and sometimes pomegranates and mangos. They've got cabbage too. I was really surprised at all the vegan Amy's frozen dishes they have, and they had these $4 vegan meal bars i stocked up on. Really sweet local place, can park on the side for 20 minutes right next to Bart too

These guys are the best! Always friendly and helpful. They even loaned me a ladder when I locked myself out of my apt! Great super stuffed sandwiches and homemade hummus. Big shout out to Mahrad.MJC

They have an in-house selection of anything and everything fresh food, fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, and food made in front of you just changed on July 1 to a new cuisine looks fantastic. Service is great.

Ashby Super Market is our go to mom and pops neighborhood store! A very friendly, calm and welcoming family has owned this store for twenty years. They are open to suggestions as to what you'd like to buy from them and even now have BOBA! We highly recommend this place.

They have amazing customer service, they have everything you'd want in a store. There sandwich's are something else, very underrated! If you want a quick sandwich made fresh that's where you'd want to go.
