As You Wish Frozen Yogurt

This was my first time patronizing at this yogurt parlor. It looks like a small mom and pops business. The atmosphere is quiet. There are a few tables and chairs to eat inside but most customers are outside. The cashier was warm and friendly. She welcomed me in immediately. The chocolate yogurt has a rich chocolate flavor which reminds me of ice cream. The price per pound is .79. My total was 7.42 which wasn't too bad.

Yum! The yogurt was delicious, but there were limited flavors and the price was a little high.Still not sure if I will return yet.BB

This yogurt place is so good and fresh! It's way better than most chain spots I've tried. They have limited yogurt flavors and toppings but everything I've tried here has been tasty and sweet! It's a perfect cold dessert treat for any day. My personal favorite was the Italian try and strawberry sorbet and the lychee popping topping. The place itself doesn't have seating inside so you'll have to get seating outside but there's plenty outside and the seating outside is very pretty and surrounded by many flowers.

Frozen yogurt is my all time favorite food group and As you Wish is my number one spot in the east bay! They make fresh yogurt, unlike the franchise stores that use a mix of chemicals. The flavors vary and the quality is excellent. Outside seating is ample and pleasant.

The only issue I have is flavor options, bring more of the good ones back please!Recently started making the toppings self-serv (not sure how good that's gonna be sanitation wise, but def great for customers who want more/less of a topping).

Enjoyed the creativity of the flavors. When I went, the 6 flavors were: Italian Tart, Passion Orange Guava Sorbet, Banana, and Peanut Butter, plus the basics of Chocolate and Vanilla. Self-serve, so you can have as much or as little as you want. A small, quaint, neighborly place with good topping choices and seating outside. I appreciated how this business follows County Health and Safety Rules during the pandemic, so all staff and the customers must keep their masks on while inside. Can't wait until "tasters" come back though.

When I want ice cream... I want ice cream. When I want frozen yogurt... I don't want something trying to pretend to be ice cream with 31 flavors. So I come here for the Italian tart which is perfect every time. Their selection is smaller than yogurtland's but I actually prefer that. This place is easy to miss while driving and parking can be complicated with all the new parklets but it's worth the effort to check it out for yourself. The inside is nothing special and (don't know if this will be true post COVID) they're limiting folks inside to 6 at a time with the staff members scooping the toppings on for you. My reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that because they're scooping the toppings sometimes they can mess up (i.e. gummy worms instead of gummy bears) and also their toppings could use more fruit options. Still, I'll come back for my go to... Italian tart with gummy bears.

I do like tart flavors that are more icy than creamy and this place has one or two of those flavors. They usually have a decent range of toppings. The toppings change often so if you have favorites they may or may not be there.My only complaint is that the price here has always been steep but now it's almost obscene. I got 1/2 full cup the other day and it was over $10 (about a half cup measure)I could buy a half gallon of super premium ice cream for that price.

This place has a great ambiance and is clean and the staff is polite. The yogurt options and toppings are to be expected. The only drawback is the yogurt came out as if it was half melted already. A bit of a bummer when you have little kids that take time to eat theirs. So eat it fast! I wish they would improve this, as I probably would come by here more often but for now it's a bit of a last resort if the other yogurt shops are closed.

My wife and I tried four different flavors a few evenings ago . We often treat ourselves to soft frozen yogurt for dessert but this was our first experienceat "As You Wish frozen Yogurt". Unfortunately, all four flavors were watereddown to the point of being more of a sherbet than yogurt. I suggest that anyone reading this review try one of the other two shops in Berkeley for comparison. This shop is overpriced selling a substandard product. We willnever return.
