They are relatively new and fresh.I've been many times since it's local, an alternative to other chain grocery stores and everything is good. They have fresh produce/products and are moderately priced for some things. They have a ready made food are with tamales, ceviche, aguachilles and more. They have a butcher meat section with all the fresh meats. There is also a mexican restaurant with great food. The staff is friendly & helpful, I'm comfortable recommending them as a business and I'm here often.Cheers to good eats.

Their food is amazing, this time my bf had the barbacoa tacos and I had super nachos (carne asada) omg I barely put a dent in my food and I got full but every bite was so muy delicioso! I highly recommend this is you are hungry and want good Mexican food, they put El Farolito's to shame. So worth it

This is my go to spot for mexican food, its quick and fast and the portion is huge for what you pay. They do not short you on meat, great for a post workout meal. Free chips and salsa as well. The workers are so welcoming and they are always laughing. Maybe its because I be ordering 2-3 items at a time and they wonder how I can eat it all. Overall I would recommend this to anyone, who is looking for food that is quality and fast.

Service, food, and overall supermarket feel is unparalleled by any other. The workers here were probably one of the nicest people I've ever encountered and every single one of them were extremely accommodating!I ordered the 12 taco tray with assorted meats, chicken, al pastor, and carne asada and all of them were bangers! The chicken was juicy, the al pastor was tender and sweet, and the carne asada was absolutely delectable, perfectly seasoned and cooked I can still remember the taste. The nachos they absolutely STACK! There was so much meat, pico, and sour cream on top that I thought the box wasn't going to close. The prices are hard to beat too! The taco tray was 30$ for 12 delicious tacos and the nachos weren't bad either! I also picked up one of their tres leches cakes as well and needless to say, I will be coming back many times over to get it again and all their other baked goods as well. While I was picking a cake out, I noticed I had chocolate on my finger and as I was being rung up, the cashier noticed and offered me a paper towel to wipe it off. The kindness and service of this place just can't be beat!

This is a fairly new Arteagas here in Hayward on A street. This is usually the store I go to when I need to grab something quick to cook, since the store is literally a 4 minute drive from my place. The location itself is pretty clean all the stuff that works there is really nice, they are very welcoming as soon as you walk in you are Greeted. The grocery section isn't really big it's actually rather small to be honest. They do however keep their shelves stocked. One of my favorite things to get here is the fresh baked sweet Mexican bread that is freshly made every single morning. This has the softest sweet bread I have ever tasted at any Mexican grocery store. Not too sure how they make their bread compared to everyone else but this is a spot to get soft pan dulce! They also have a small Taqueria. The people that work it are nice the food is tasty, their Asada is delicious. I personally don't like the fact that they use their microwave to heat up half of what they serve or anything that comes with cheese. Maybe it's just me but that sorta throws me off a little. They do have a nice and organized meat section along with Creamery sectionOverall, this will be my quick pit stop if I ever need to grab something to cook while in a pinch.

I like this store. I don't come here a lot but I like the fresh pan dulce, the meat, the restaurant and cleanliness of the store. What I don't like is the fact that there seems to be very high prices on the grocery items, so high that it's ridiculous. I'm just posting this one item for example. The owners of the store know this is a low income neighborhood, but take advantage knowing the people are going to come here if they only speak Spanish. I usually shop at different stores because I'm not going to pay almost 20.00 for a jar of mayonnaise.

Love coming here for their food court, but for the past 3 times I came here they told me their closed and was turned away. I wish they had a sign on their hours. First they were closed at 9pm, then it's 8:40pm then it was 830pm.. hmm.. love this place though.. but their hours are just so off. I drove so far too. Sigh

Good food but disappointing portions. I've order the Family Packs from the Newark location for many years, so imagine my surprise when I ordered TWO Family Packs #3 which are suppose to be good for 7 - 9 people each but TWO family packs were barely enough for 7 people let alone 14 - 18 people. I had to order another Family Pack #4 for 10 - 12 just to feed 15 people. The grilled chicken was good, moist and well seasoned but the carne asada was dry and overcooked. I probably would order from them again since they open at 7 a.m. and our office usually does lunch meetings at 11 a.m. making it the few places that can cater mexican food early but now I know that I need to over order since their portions are mislabelled.
