Amazing and delicious food cooked by the students at CCC!!! They had an autumn menu that was Spanish inspired! Super fresh and worth it !! My 2nd time here ! Highly recommend!!

Unfortunately, they have started pricing their desserts to match places with better products.It's a nice place for a cheap lunch but hours are limited.

This place has become my favorite local lunch place! Too bad they don't open on weekends, or else I'd be here all the time! My third time dining here and I still really like the food, the service, the concept. A lot of tapas and Spanish dishes in November. I like the chicken paella (we had to ask for no sausages because my coworker doesn't eat pork). The shrimp and octopus dishes were well seasoned and tasty. I wish they didn't have so much potatoes under the octopus dish, it was too much carbs. In hindsight I should've ordered a greens dish instead of so many carb items. Hope to come again every month to explore more of their delicious dishes!

This hidden gem is amazing. Ever since we discovered it, I have been bringing friends here for lunch, upscale food at a very affordable price, with napkins and white table (figutively speaking) service. Highly recommended.

Came for lunch buffet today but we forgot to make a reservation therefore unable to dine in. Good that we were able to get a box and fill it up for togo. Loved the grilled pineapple and other food items. Students try really hard to run this buffet lunch.

This is the place to get good food, utilizing the fresh in season food products- fruits, vegetables, etc. I had the opportunity to view demonstration of culinary chef. I am glad, I finally got to support the program. Next time, I will eat out there. I am looking forward to try other foods

This is the practical side of their culinary arts program representing the future chefs,cooks, servers and management. We enjoy watching them grow in their culinary skills. The choice of menu items changes periodically but is diverse enough so you can surely find something you favor or want to try. The food is tasty in reasonable portions. The prices are good and not expensive. The service is good. Overall, a fun food experience each time.My only complaint is the website/Facebook notices. Since the menus change periodically, it would be helpful to find the current menu dated or more prominently shown. I suggest they find an IT major person(s) to partner with to reorganize and update the website/Facebook postings. They have made improvements but more can be done.

The Aqua Terra Grill I'm reviewing is located at the Contra Costa College, 2600 Mission Bell Drive in San Pablo. The restaurant above in on Mission (?), can't say why it's appearing...As part of a group of seniors from the North Berkeley Senior Center, we arrived on a blustery day. After getting inside, the 15 of our group were escorted to various tables throughout the restaurant, which is modern, with beautiful pictures throughout. There is a patio in the back which is surrounded by trees and is visible from wherever you're seated inside. Our server James was friendly and accommodating. We were three sitting together. After deciding on our dishes; soup, tacos, cheese and crackers and paella with fried chicken croquettes, we sat waiting...and waiting...my first impression of waiting wasn't a good one. My soup wasn't served until the end of themeal. It took 45 minutes. Os this common in a culinary school? The servers were all students, training in various positions that are usually found in restaurants. I hope they will try to focus on who gets what dish, because one of the three of us was served at least 2 dishes not ordered by him. Please consider the experience we had and plan your outing there accordingly. Be sure you have the time, patience and understanding to wait.

Let's start with this: We were served one of the best lamb salads I've ever had. For $9. This was in 2024, not 1999.We were also served an insanely good ribs and polenta dish. Also $9.The wait staff are clearly students and a little bit wibbly, but they're sincere and trying hard.They're only open for lunch, but holy crap, get over there.
