My new go-to corner store for odds and ends!Stopped by this little market on Sacramento hoping to score some toilet paper (Yey shortages!) and was not only successful, but also found organic creamer, eggs and wine! Hugh quality products and fair pricing.Will definitely be frequenting this spot more often!

This store, which we have never patronized, continues to spam our phones with text messages even after multiple requests to stop.

Wonderful little store we're lucky to have in our neighborhood. Marcos, the owner, has the right perspective. Like any business, he's trying to make a profit, but also with the mission to serve the community with high quality products and a welcoming spirit. Besides many organic and premium products, he also keeps a supply of produce, even though I'm sure he doesn't make much (if anything) from them. You're going to pay a bit more than a big box store, of course, which is to be expected with a low volume operation.

Alex Market is a minature Trader Joe's/Whole Foods.lots of gourmet food items, fresh fruit, chips, cereals, home supplies, beers. wines, cookies, baked goods, canned goods, frozen prepped food, etc.unfortunately few large bottle craft beers, just 6/4 packs. no premade ready to eat foodnot a lot of parking in front.buys: kombucha(3.99)-trying something to clean up my sensitive stomachtoo many bad meals lately?quick, courteous check out when i was ready...

Support local business! I live a block away and Alex always greets me with a smile. I come here to buy things I missed at the grocery store or if I'm too busy to pick up groceries in general. They have all the essentials for young professionals like me--refreshing drinkis, chips, organic options, and all the basic snacks you would want. I'm really happy to have this market so close to my house. I only wish it was bigger! I'm also happy spending a little bit over wholesale grocery price if it means supporting a local business. Alex Market is definitely a staple in the West Berkeley community.

I believe it's easy to tell the difference between good people and bad people. See how most of the reviews are 5 star with a few notable exceptions. That's The difference. This is a wonderful little market with a huge selection for such a small place. They do great things for our community, besides being good people providing a great service. We're lucky to have them.

Really improved their selection during COVID. Fresh produce, dairy, ice cream, wine. They also tend to have things in stock that are hard to find such as TP, flour, and sanitizer

This is the best corner market ever! We are so lucky to live walking distance to this little gem. They've got a great selection of organic food and all the staples.

They never open on time! The owner is never there on time, that is a big problem. Some of the stuff is overpriced and mostly close to expiring!

Me and my daughter come here frequently to get some ice cream and whatever else we need. Always friendly with high quality stuff (Straus dairy, good chocolate, etc) and always some unusual choices. Newest is an awesome kombucha bar with deliciousness on tap, including CBD infused.
