Albany Pizza and Pastas

Albany Pizza has improved soooo much since the previous owners. I enjoy the artichoke, diced tomato and black olive pizza with extra sauce. The crust is soft and chewy!Go Albany Pizza!Derek-the Drummer Plumber

I have ordered from this place plenty of times on grubhub and though they have some great dishes, they can be considerably inconsistent. I find the spaghetti to be my favorite! It is always tasty... but every time I have ventured outside of this meal I have been left disappointed. I once ordered ziti and received pesto pasta, and another time I ordered rigatoni and it was more like penne Alfredo. Both times I left honest reviews based on my experience and both times the owner left condescending responses taking no accountability. In one response they accused me of lying about my experience and possibly being a competitor and another suggested that I took my business elsewhere... and I will. I feel that if they worked on consistency and actually remedied the issues they could be great, but I refuse to waste my money here any further.

Sometimes Jamie W. and I have a craving for a pizza. Usually we will go somewhere to satisfy the need, but the beatdown we felt from all those atmospheric rivers made us go the delivery route from a place I've never even noticed. It's somewhere on San Pablo, but frankly we never looked for it. However, we learned something constructive from our experience.They make a very good California Garden Pizza. A large cost us $30.99, which was on the high side for us, but it was chock full of fresh veggies - bell peppers, spinach, mushrooms, black olives, tomatoes, zucchini, and artichoke hearts - atop a thin crust saturated with melted cheese (photo: https://bit.ly/3H3n6RP). It was good for three days because there was an absence of pepperoni grease.To overcome our calorific guilt, we also ordered the $13 Greek Salad to share. Was looking around for a more traditional tasting pizza outside of the larger chains like Roundtable, etc. and came across this place. I was able to place my order via phone and the representative was very helpful. I ordered the Monster Slice that comes with a can drink. When I came in it was pretty empty but the other representative was very helpful and expressed they just recently took over a couple months ago. Overall great experience and the pizza was just what I was looking for. Would try again. (Don't mind the missing slice I was hungry by the time I remembered to take a picture).

New owners/ management previously it was pretty bad here but decided to give it an a try again, I heard that there were new owners so I wanted to give it a shot and I am glad that I did, very basic traditional pizza that's actually pretty good, not to mention affordable staff is very friendly, I will return and try it again soon

We went to this pizza place with my kids. I had ordered martini pizza. Their pizzas are freshly made and we can taste the freshness. If I had read old reviews, I won't be going but someone had mentioned they are new owners. Yes they are new owners their pizza is extremely good. My kids loved it and they ate most of it. Best pizza in east bay.

Fast delivery and excellent Hawaiian pizza!. Ordering over the computer was easy and friendly. Grub hub delivery was on time and the delivery person was very friendly. I recommend this Pizza place highly!

Had a simple sausage cheese pizza and it was good. Also had chicken wings, garlic fries, and the rigatoni. The rigatoni was a bit on the dry side but still tasty. The wings and the fries were a hit! Ordered for a particular pick up time; it was ready exactly at that time. I was happy with that. Pick up was quick and painless.Will definitely order from here again.

This place does dough really well for their pizzas. It is chewy and crispy. So if you want a good dough, get your pizza here. The owners are very nice also.

Great little pizza shop. The food is good and prepared quickly, even via delivery. We order their pizza weekly.
