Words can't describe how good their food is!!!I ordered the carrot coconut soup. Amazing!!! The minestrone soup!!! Incredible. The cashew meatballs out of this world. The rosemary walnuts- superb. I want to try more but they're always sold out! You gotta try Alameda Homemade.

Love these "bricks" so much! My partner and I drive to east bay from the city to do pickup and grab monthly supplies. Such a time saver - we have it and look forward to this once a week instead of takeout when we are tired. Plus I know I'm eating healthy, organic and good meats, and don't feel as yuck as when I order takeout. The packaging is so remarkable and stacks well in the fridge! Also perfect for hosting a group -- had a family trip and just loaded up here and saved so much time and headache (even breakfast with brunch loaves!).

These wonderful people have managed something truly remarkable here: Fantastic healthy food which is super easy to prepare. The food is made locally with top of the line ingredients, then they either deliver it directly to you or you can pick it up. They're even willing to work something out if neither of those options work for you. That goes beyond amazing service - this is understanding. Personally recommend the pork chili and the cookies, but honestly it's all good. Enjoy!

Tried out their pop-up yesterday at the Boneyard on Park Street and have had some food from them delivered and it is always amazing! Try your their food for delivery and hope they do a pop-up somewhere soon!!

I love their blood orange olive oil mini loaves and pumpkin yogurt mini loaves a lot!!! I feel like if I don't have several of these stocked up in my fridge, then I am unprepared for the week. I eat these late at night as a daily snack to sustain my mood during this pandemic. I've managed to crisp the outside of the loaves in my oven and it makes it sooooooooo GOOD!!! I have tried their fancy pork chili and mac & cheese, but I didn't like them as much. The flavor just wasn't there for me, and the chili was a bit salty. (maybe it's because I warmed them up in my microwave?)

This is a local meal delivery service, like a cross between Freshly and a caterer. We tried it out after having a baby because we had no time to cook, but didn't want the expense and nutrition of takeout every night. They deliver. Their most popular dishes have pork/pancetta, which we don't eat, unfortunately. We got the lamb tagine and the Asian chicken noodle soup which were offered then. (The available dishes change regularly.) The meals came in clear vacuum-sealed plastic, which looked fresh in the freezer. No freezer burn, and they heated up in a few minutes in a pan on the stove. The "big" size was sufficient for 2 of us for dinner. Both meals were good and did indeed taste home-cooked, more than Freshly or frozen entrees or takeout. I found the dishes low on spices/salt, but it could have been my PP taste buds being off. I thought the meats in both dishes were the highlight: in the tagine especially, it was very tender.Overall:+Ease of ordering, delivery+Freshness+Taste; I assume the salt/spice issue was me-East of prep: Freshly/takeout is prepared in the microwave, so it's easier; this is prepared on the stovetop and heating instructions are online only-Variety/options for pork non-eaters-Pricing: it was much closer to the cost of takeout than Freshly, which was a bit much for us

If you want to have a heartwarming home cooked meal without cooking at home - go ahead and make an order with Alameda Homemade!!!! I have never had better pork chili than the one made by these incredible women! I am in love!

Ah where to start, their "fancy"" pork chili is so savory and the pork just melts in your mouth. Their Butternut squash Mac and cheese is so gooey and cheesy with a sweetness from the squash. Their sausage cheesse biscuits is by far the best thing I have ever put in my mouth. They say it serves 1-2 people, well I eat one in one sitting easy it is so delicious. Every recipe is speciality curated by these women and they only use the best, organic ingredients. I don't always have time to cook homemade dinner or prep lunch. Often times I go for what is quick, not as healthy, and expensive eat out options. Pam and Alyssa at Alameda Homemade have created an incredible way to offer home cooked, organic, healthy food to busy people. Everything I have eaten has been so tasty and takes no more than 10 minutes to prepare. And I'll I do is go online, order what I want and craving, and then they deliver 2-3 times during the week making it super flexible with my schedule. Way to go ladies! Keep at it!

UPDATE - Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the shelter in place situation, we decided to stock up on certain provisions, namely the chicken chili verde, blood orange olive oil mini loaves as well as the sausage, cheddar and chives biscuit mini loaves. MY OH MY, the chicken chili verde is just OUT OF THIS WORLD FANTABULOUS!!!! The addition of the hominy to an already fantastic recipe just knocked it out of the park!!! This is one ballpark we'll definitely keep visiting again and again and again (as long as the ladies keep cooking!) CHICKEN CHILI VERDE FOR THE WIN!!!

I'm used to cooking up great meals. And so is the rest of my family! Well, now I can look forward to someone else doing much of the work without compromising the end result. I don't know these two miracle workers, but I LOVE them nonetheless. I have served up many guilt-free nutritionally conscious and much anticipated mains and sides from their revolving menu options since the shutdown began. Among our favorites are their Chicken Chile Verde, Coconut Lime Braised Beef, Italian Sausage and Peppers, and the decadent Morning Mini Loaves. And, if you're a coffee lover, don't pass up a bag of Signal Coffee beans! Last but NOT least, it's all delivered (frozen!) to my front door!!!! Looking forward to their fall menu...A slice of heaven in trying times.
