Met this food vendor at the roots black entrepreneur fair today in Sobrante Park. And oh my goodness, thee BEST $25 I spent on a 2 way combo for halal BBQ. I just ate 1/4 of my plate and I am already FULL. It's soooo good! Literally I have enough on this plate to last me for dinner and my work lunch tomorrow. Thank you sooo much! Definitely satisfied my BBQ craving

Ordered from the Too Good To Go app. I ordered 3 and they were all the same. The amount of food was good for the amount I paid.- Steamed rice was cooked well. It was fluffy & good moisture.- Collard greens has a good balance of vinegar, salt & smokiness. It almost gave the meal a cleansing effect because of the richness of the meal.- Grilled beef (?), I'm not sure if it was supposed to be a bbq bec it didn't have any kind of rub nor bbq sauce. All I could discern on the flavor is salt and pepper. Maybe, very slight smokiness. Charred on the outside but not burned AND very moist - Mac & cheese is the crown glory. Slight kick and very flavorful. I can taste a good amount of golden browned & crunchy Parmesan cheese !!! The gentleman on the front and back are both polite & friendly. I'm inclined to go back & purchase a regular sized bbq entrees!

The ONLY place to get halal hand slaughtered soul food. I wish i could have the hot links every week but now that I'm in Sacramento i can't get to his food too much. Great prices for the level of meat you're getting.

Food was great! Brisket and ribs! Good amount of food, add bbq sauce! It's good, definitely rare to find halal southern bbq!

I kept seeing this on a food order platform and then it was a option on my too good to go app, which I highly recommend. So I ordered from them through that app. It's basically left overs from the previous day that they'd be throwing away.First. It's a food truck. Second. Its located in front of someone's house in Deep East Oakland, so you are warned incase you don't know how to properly act in that area. Ok. The lady is realy nice when I picked up my order. Like I said cold, left ordered. Took back to work and was pleasantly surprised. 3 piece bbq chicken breast and leg. Potatoe salad and a Hawaiian role. I heat the chicken up and wow it was really good. Colleague walked in the kitchen said it smelled good and asked if I made it. No did not take credit. Not a big fan of potatoe salad, bit this was so good. Mustard, pickles and a nice amount of heat and of course you can't go wrong with hawaiian sweet rolls. Was I little worried about food poisoning of left over? Not gonna lie, a little. But no stomach issues and I'm here to write the review.Will be back to order more.

Tried on too good to go. Food was good and generous portions. Didn't know it was home, but wasn't bothered. Not my fav part of town, but the food was stay. I got chopped beef and hot links and a cookie. Was happy with all of it

Pretty let down by the quality. Mac n cheese was so overbaked there was nothing but oil & cheese crisps on the crunchy noodles. It's actually almost comical how bad this looks. I can't believe they packed this! One of my sides was missing (in both plates). Fish is nasty. Tri tip was cool. $80 later & I'm still hungry. Bbq is always a gamble but WOW i lost bad with this one

Best halal BBQ spot in the bay! The meats were very tender, tasty n juicy. They have a hearty selection of meats and sides you can choose from but whatever u get it's gunna be gooood. They also have mini pies that are the perfect amount of sweet for dessert. The couple that helped me were extremely nice and made my plate fairly quickly, If you have trouble finding them just give em a call or shoot a text.

The food was good and the man up front was kind. Don't expect a Michelin star experience but if you're looking for some quick and tasty bbq it's a great option. Got my food through TooGoodToGo and it was fresh. I'd come back to pay full price

The food was good , the ribs was dry but I'd recommend trying the brisket and links..
