3 Star Restaurant

I placed an order around opening hours & saw a few others who were waiting for their food already, I can already tell they get busy on the weekends. The inside of the restaurant is incredibly clean and has a great amount of family seating. I did not have to wait long for my food & it was very hot even after arriving home. Extra points for the dedication the lady working had for cutting the plastic bag for ventilation. Focusing on the entrees themselves, the portions are great for families at a very reasonable price while keeping the quality at its highest. Their customer service is a direct reflection of their food quality and it is top notch. Will definitely be coming back & next time ordering two of their sweet chicken wings!

There is some seating indoor. The decor has a variety collection of assembled legos. However during the cold season, I suggest sitting away from the door because the draft is intense. The server is kind and helped us with food suggestions. She suggested the clay pot dish which was definitely delicious! I highly suggest it too. We ordered the garlic chicken too and it was definitely a favorite. I later ordered a tray for a party and it was gone pretty quickly!

Very competent Chinese food with a vast variety of choices, plus a good number of Filipino dishes too.Located in a storefront strip mall it's convenient with adequate parking out front.The atmosphere is what you'd expect from a mainstream Chinese restaurant in the area, casual, comfortable and a 'down home' style family establishment. It's basic, yet has all that it needs, plus an amazing Lego collection on display (didn't expect that!).A group of friends brought us and it was a treat . More dishes were ordered than six people could ever eat. It was definitely a feast, and a wide variety as a couple of the friends were vegetarian with a number of delicious choices for them as well.The highlights were the fried eggplant with peppers, beef chow fun, a string bean and beef dish, and a mushroom dish with large Shitake that was scrumptious. We had both of the chicken wings, the spicy garlic and the garlic wings, both equally delicious although the spicy garlic is apparently the fan favorite for the restaurant.Service was friendly and very accommodating. 'Sam' (Samantha) was a delight and so wanting to get everything just right.A very pleasurable meal with friends, and a whole lot of leftovers to take home!

Good food! We had the Bangus (be careful this one has bones in) and it was delicious. Their pepper fried chicken was crunchy and has soft meat- fresh! Everything came out pipping hot. not many drink selection. Great service Very clean!

"3 Star" in Vallejo is a solid spot for a great meal, whether you're there for lunch or just craving some comfort food. The food is consistently good, and the service is equally commendable. The garlic sauce chicken wings are a standout--they seriously rival the famous wings at San Tung in San Francisco, which is saying a lot!One of the highlights for me and my fiancé is the congee, which is always comforting and delicious. This place does get busy on weekends, especially with a lot of Filipino families stopping by after church, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. But trust me, it's worth it.Another thing to note is their chili oil--it's incredible and seems to be made in-house. Adds the perfect kick to any dish. The workers here are friendly, and the service is always on point.This Chinese restaurant has definitely become our go-to lunch spot, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone in the area!They also serve Filipino dishes.

This is one of those places where I will take what I can get. I can go on and on about how I could hit up Oakland or other parts of the East Bay for better Canto food, whatever, blah blah blah. The food here is decent. Out of all the Chinese food in Vallejo, I think this probably one of the better ones--until someone proves me wrong. They also have Filipino food as well, which is telling what demographic of people they are catering to.The service is really good and they are super nice. It is definitely the typical Chinese American spot that you find in any place or any city, nothing special; but the food is actually good and tasty. Go see for yourself and tell me if there is better Canto/Chinese food in this city. I'll wait.

I've lived in Vallejo a long time. I think I've found a new favorite Chinese restaurant. 3 Star is clean, open and wait staff is very friendly. I had a lunch plate with Mongolian Beef. Very tender, great flavor. My only reason for not going with a 5 was the sauce was a little too sweet. I will definitely be back to try other items. I found this place from another Yelpers comments.

Ordered takeout at 3 Star Restaurant a few weeks ago and had a great takeout meal experience. It was my first time trying their food and it made a memorable first impression. The food was tasty and the portions were generous. Service was also friendly and efficient with the brief interaction we had with staff for our take out order.We ordered a bunch of items to share for a dinner of four people. Our order consisted of:- Garlic Sauce Chicken Wings- Shrimp Fried Rice- Mu Shu Pork- Beef Chow Fun- Salt and Pepper FishEverything was fantastic, especially the Garlic Sauce Chicken Wings. Hands down, my favorite item from what we ordered (as other Yelpers can also attest to). All of the items were packed with flavor, cooked perfectly, and were great quality. We were all pleased, especially since we ordered it as takeout and drove it home for about 15-20 minutes. The food was still hot and fresh. I would definitely recommend 3 Star Restaurant if you're looking for some great Chinese food, especially in Vallejo. Looking forward to trying more items off of their menu and possibly dining in to get the food super fresh.

Great Filipino breakfast and Chinese dishes! Known for the great sweet glazed chicken wings! But these are no longer original as new restaueamts now have a take on it. Tocino was a more like rock candy than tender meat with a slight sweet crust on the meat. But otherwise the salted garlic rice and egg keeps the balance. For Chinese, can't go wrong with the the pan fried noodles and mongolian beef.

The signature garlic sauce chicken wings is uber delicious and the heat level can be adjusted when ordering. I ordered to go and the everything was cooked upon ordering (15!minutes).
