Excellent breakfast!!! Their breakfast is on point!! I ordered the corn beef hash and it's by far the best I have tried this trip and I tried it several times at different establishments this go around. It came in a skillet, topped with two soft poached eggs (my favorite) and hollandaise sauce. I got an extra side of hollandaise sauce. It's also served with a side of toast, I got sourdough. Phenomenal! Enjoyed every bite of this meal. Only downside is getting seated at the low round white cocktail tables. Those tables arent really meant to eat off of as they sit so low relative to the seat. Maybe don't sit people there for breakfast. These tables and seats are made for sitting and having a few drinks, not having a sit down meal. Service was welcoming, efficient and attentive. Highly recommend this spot for breakfast! I'm sure it's a kool spot for dinner and drinks in the evening as well

The bartender (white, thin light brown hair, 5 11ish) was unnecessarily rude to me. Here's the transcript of our 2 problematic interactions.1.-Bartender: Here's the menu. I look at the menu. - My partner to me: should we get fries?- Bartender: there's no food.I lift my head from the menu.- Me: oh the kitchen's closed?-Bartender (mockingly): yeah... that's why there's no food.2. I order a whisky sour. Bartender walks away and comes back in a minute.- Bartender: last call. - Me: just the whisky sour please.- Bartender: yeah, last call besides the drink that you just ordered a few seconds ago. (Again mocking me as if I'm stupid)Bartender walks away.Me and my partner look at each other in disbelief.I really did not know this person from before, and did not have any negative interactions that could have caused his condescending and rude behavior. The bartender was nice and warm to other customers so I don't know what to think about the root cause of his passive aggressive behavior towards me. Definitely not going back to this bar and do not recommend it to others. I sent an email to Fairmont where I was staying but have not heard back.

We left after 15 minutes because:1. The waiter never showed at our table.2. The staff removed the big screen TV in the middle of the Bruins' playoff game. This is a typical overpriced bar that is too loud and has a business plan built around location for traffic, not quality service. They don't seem to car about service. Very disappointing for a Fairmont Copley experience.

One of our regular spots downtown. Inconsistent service and food. Typically we expect high end food, drinks, and service. Sometimes they hit it out of the park and sometimes it is a bit disappointing. Luckily most of the time it is wonderful. We love the decor and the grandeur, it was renovated years back but it still has a wonderful historic feel.

Fun spot to stop for appetizers and drinks. Place was buzzing with people stopping in after work. Enjoyed the bread and artichokes.

Hotel bars and such can be hit or miss. It might be the best spot in the city--a huge flex for weary guests not trying to venture too far from the hotel OR you get the spots that are doing the bare minimum in all regards because they know you don't have any other options nearby. OAK is the former. A huge, vaulted ceiling and a back bar to die for welcome you along with friendly service from the team. The menu is concise--New England staples and that's it. I was there for lunch and while the Pick 2 lunch menu is cool, the options didn't speak to me. The bread service is amazing! That honey butter and huge fluffy dough overflowing the skillet have my heart from now on. No other notes, really. This spot is great for a midday business lunch or a bite before heading out for a day in the city.

I visited this place twice during my visit (and only because I was staying in the hotel and it was convenient). The decor is nice and it lends itself well to the business folks who want to stop in to have a drink and a meal. The food, however, is just average. The dishes present themselves beautifully, but they lack any strong flavor. The exception is the clam chowder, which was nice. The manager and servers were attentive and friendly. The restaurant has plenty of seating and is cozy, but dark. It can get loud when crowded, but that is to be expected. The prices are high and with many dining options within walking distance, it is worth venturing out if you have time.

It was a good place to have a drink after hours or a good place to grab a nosh light cocktails. You'll find a lot of visitors here And business people closing deals over an espresso martini. I enjoy this historical ambience. It's bougie and has always been the Oak bar for me, but since it's now the Oak and Long Bar... that's exactly what it is, long bar. Surprisingly, the spires so pizza is pretty good there. Fresh. Come here if you wanna impress a date or a business person.

Went for a business dinner with a group of coworkers. Food was very good, desserts were amazing. Food runners could use a bit more training. Overall a good experience.

The ambiance and service at this bar/restaurant is great but the food was a bit of a disappointment. The menu is very pricy, and for this price range, I would have expected better. The roasted chicken was moist but the reduction sauce was far too salty. For $35, the portion of chicken was also rather small. The grilled octopus was also overcooked and rubbery. If you can afford it, my recommendation is to go here for drinks and skip the food on offer.
