A year later and several consistently impressive visits, this spot never fails us. It's our fav date spot! The staff is so warm & helpful, the food is superior for the price point, and the ambiance is casual yet intimate! Still our #1 sushi spot!

Amazinggg sushi in nashville. I got the baked salmon roll and completely devoured it. My friends enjoyed the lobster roll and Philadelphia rolls just as much as I enjoyed mine. Overall, no complaints at all regarding food. Prices are extremely reasonable too!!The restaurant is a cute, cozy location off a main street with an authentic vibe.The only reason I wouldn't give this place 5 stars is the wait time. My group of 3 waited around 30-40 minutes for 3 rolls of sushi when there were only 2 other ppl in the restaurant. Overall: would definitely come back and favorite affordable sushi spot in Nashville, but the long wait time is disappointing.

Super slow service. Went here to get food and the two waitresses were extra confused. It took almost 2 hours to get a order of sashimi, a bowl of ramen and edamame. I kept asking how long because you have to pay for parking. They claimed there was free parking, but it was not to where we could see it. Food- food was not that great either. The 10 piece sampler sashimi came with maybe 3 or 4 selections of fish options. You don't get soup or salad with anything either. Also didn't have hot tea. The ramen noodles were very mushy. It was like they over cooked the noodles or let them absorb in the water. The chasu meat was good I will say. The edamame (spicy) was good too, but not a big enough portion for 8$. The veggie fried tempura was maybe the best thing.I would never come back here unfortunately. Not worth the wait or prices

There's so many sushi options in this neighborhood, and they're all the same - mediocre, nothing special. At least Osake has a decent price point, but I found the food to be incredibly basic - which if that's your thing (at by the amount of 5 stars, must be), then great!We ordered a rather large take out order, that was made very quickly and under 30 minutes. I enjoyed the shrimp shumai, the vegetable eggrolls but that was about it! The shrimp eggroll was shrimp tempura which I didn't expect. The fried rice was ok, but nothing special! The sushi didn't have much flavor and some of the fish was warm (which kind of grossed me out!)It wasn't terrible, but I'm a sushi snob and I won't be returning anytime soon.

Fantastic food ! I really enjoyed their salmon nigiri, I don't know what cut of salmon it was (maybe belly?) but it was absolutely the best salmon sushi I've ever had, it was like butter. We also had the tempura udon and spicy ramen. All fantastic !

Salmon doesn't look right. Teryaki chicken is very dry and teryaki shrimp still have tail on them.

The service was terrible. The lady that took our order had terrible customer service. After receiving our food, we had to flag her down multiple times and she seemed to not notice us. There was only us and another table there. A small place. When she finally came to our table she gave us our check. She didn't ask if we wanted anything else. We had to let her know we were still dining. She said okay and brought us our first round of water refills. We then told her we wanted shrimp fried rice. She asked us if it was for her or to go. It felt unwelcoming. I wouldn't eat here again because of her. But the food was decent. The man making the sushi was nice.

This is easily the BEST SUSHI RESTAURANT IN NASHVILLE! I love how this spot is in walking distance from my college campus! Because of this, my friends and I drop by here super often! We ALWAYS order the baked salmon roll. It is so unbelievably tasty, and we never get tired of the flavors! The staff is made up of the nicest people I have ever interacted with. The woman who works here knows our orders now, and she is just amazing! The service is really fast! She tells us it'll be about 10 minutes every time we order something here, and it is always a very accurate idea of how long our wait will be! I am back at home right now, and I miss this place so so much. My stomach is grumbling at the thought of feeling these flavors melt on my tongue :') I wish there was a location in AZ :') Can't wait to eat this again in the Fall!

This place is fantastic! They gave me the wrong fish when I ordered yellow tail but it was still delicious! They also have Bop cups which I had never seen before but they were amazing and highly recommend! Great casual Japanese restaurant that plays asian renditions on classic pop songs. The staff was super friendly, helpful and attentive!

Sashimi was the best ive ever had!! Sushi was great and happy hour had it buy one get one 50% off
