O.B. Smoothie Bar & Subs

Hole in wall ambiance but the smoothies and açaí bowl are very filling, fresh and amazing flavor. This is a great place if you want something healthy. It's right across from Hodads and if look for something or açaí you gotta check this place out!

First time visit to the O.B. Smoothie Bar and it is a solid 4 stars. I ordered the açaí bowl and my fiancée ordered a custom made smoothie. The front desk was efficient and accommodating and the açaí bowl and smoothie were out in 5-ish minutes. Nice portion size and slightly sweet, but not too sweet. The smoothie was slightly on the ice cold side, but overall great flavor.Small dining space with limited seating, but no biggie. We hung out outside in front of the building enjoying the ocean breeze. I would be interested in returning and trying some other items on the menu.

A smoothie is a must on a hot beach day!You order at the counter & there is no seating available. They have a plethora of smoothie flavors & juices, & they also serve sandwiches.Berryslam: Delicious but it gives you a kick with its sourness.Cooler Colada: A must order! This was so tasty, refreshing, & sweet.They take credit card but try to bring cash to avoid the additional credit card fee.

O.B. Smoothie Bar & Subs unfortunately didn't quite live up to our expectations. Despite the promising menu, the taste of the finished products left us wanting. The smoothies lacked that vibrant, fresh flavor we were hoping for, and the subs fell short in terms of taste and quality. We found ourselves wishing for more robust and memorable flavors. The overall experience felt somewhat lackluster. On a positive note, the service was decent, and the ambiance was okay. However, for a fulfilling smoothie and sub experience, we'll be exploring other options in the future. Next time I'll have to try the other products on the menu like the acai bowl and subs.

Delicious spot for an açaí bowl by the beach!! Went on a Sunday morning and it was quite busy so had to wait a bit. At first I thought the prices were a little inflated but then got this gigantic acai bowl. I realize how fresh they make it considering they use unsweetened açaí and blend it with either apple juice or soy milk. This bowl left me very satisfied, but I will note the menu does not seem to offer additional add ons like honey or peanut butter.

Needed a cold pick-me-up after lunch at It's Raw next door (also delicious) It was overcast but muggy that day and the smoothie was perfect to have during our walk at Sunset Cliffs. This is an unassuming smoothie/juice shack on the main street by OB dog beach. To be honest, I didn't really care if they were using fresh fruit/sherbet/frozen fruit...if you are an acai bowl/smoothie snob, maybe it's not the best option out of everything in OB and PB. I was just hot and wanted something cold to drink. I had a raspberry smoothie and it was tart, refreshing, and hit the spot. Service was friendly and efficient.

We've been eating at restaurants for the whole week while in San Diego barely having time to cook anything at the Airb&b!! we needed something healthy, refreshing and good for our gut so the four of us had smoothies. They were all delicious. Specially my açai smoothies. The whole family is happy with the service and the drinks. Thank you ladies.

Got a wrap and a green juice here and loved both. There are so many options in OB but for a healthy lunch I'm glad I picked this. Got something I felt good about eating and was delicious too

The food is great and at an affordable price. The only reason it's four stars is because it's really small and not a lot of places to sit.

Really good fruit smoothies! I haven't tried the food items yet, but I've had many of the different smoothies and they've all been delicious. The acai was my favorite. Staff is very kind.
