NY Garden Deli & Cafe

I work in the neighboring business park. Walked over with some coworkers. Ordered the Ahi Tuna salad. The salad was a big portion with adequate dressing. Tuna was seared perfectly. Ladies that were working were super nice. There is no indoor dining but chairs and tables outside. Very surprised how good this deli is attached to a hotel. I will definitely be back. FYI...they close at 1pm which doesn't allow for a late lunch spot.

We were pleasantly surprised that a garden inn had this type of deli. We thought we were just going to grab microwave meals. We ordered the daily special, I believe it was a Chipotle Burger (we had two of these) and onion rings. They have outdoor seating outside. We took our food to go and had another surprise. The size of the burger was on the bigger side, you can definitely share this. The burger had a great taste to it, everything complimented each other. The onion rings were a little over cooked but still nice taste. I didn't catch her name but she was the young lady working there this past Thursday. She provided great customer service and was really friendly/helpful. If the manager reads this please give her our thanks, she deserves a "catch me at my best"

Just came here for the first time, can't leave without saying how great this place is! I had their grilled chicken sandwich it was flavored and cooked perfectly! Everyone behind the counter was fun and inviting I live next door I'll definitely be back!

I am not normally a sandwich person, but after getting a grilled chicken sandwich here...ohmygosh, I am now HOOKED! I came here two days in a row, it was that good.The sandwiches here are so ridiculously fresh and tasty. They use Boar's Head deli meats and cheese so the quality is excellent. The sandwiches are also very affordable, around $7-$8. I feel like you can't get a good sandwich for that price anymore!I got the grilled chicken sandwich (one of their top sellers) and also did a build-your-own with cracked pepper turkey and a bunch of vegetables.Check in on Yelp and they give you a free bag of chips and a fountain drink with your sandwich.TIP: it's in the middle of industrial park nowhere, as it's attached to the Hilton Garden Inn in Sorrento Valley/Del Mar, but you don't have to stay at the hotel to eat here.

I'm a little disappointed that New York deli no longer uses Ubereats because I have a tough tough time leaving the office. Uber's been saving grace for the last couple years I'll try to get some work done rather than going out sitting in my car driving.Also disappointed Ny deli does not accept Apple Pay which will make it a lot easier as I don't always have my credit card with my phone but I always have my phoneMy last visit I ordered a roast beef sandwich without cucumbers and jalapeños. What I got was a hot beef WITH cucumbers and jalapeños. There is no way I could eat the sandwich. I'm sorry I can't handle the jalapeños so I gave it away to a coworker.

Service was nice. Place was clean. But this was the 2nd worst Rueben Ive ever had. Hardly had any sauerkraut on it, ya know, the defining feature of the sandwich. And tasted so off i ended up tossing it. Sad since its on such a convenient location. Wife's Philly was ok, but mine was such a miss I doubt Id bother making a stop over here again even though it's in my community.

Cute atmosphere but the food was more then disappointing. It came out cold and the quality in the food just wasn't there. Staff was friendly. But I definitely won't go back.

ok sandwich shop, nothing to special here. good for lunch if you want something quick and simple

They are so accommodating! This is the type of sandwich that I would wait forever for when others I feel like are so expensive and not worth it. GO HERE!

Wow oh wow their food is so good. I live a cross the street and this is one of the few places in walking distance so I go about 1x a week. It's a very unassuming place because it's a little cafe connected to the Hilton, but it is a hidden gem. I've had their pizza, sandwiches, salads, and tacos.. all great! I had the tacos for the first time today and I was more than pleasantly surprised. The guac seems homemade, the salsa and chips are so yummy, and the chicken quality is great. Highly, highly recommend for a quick breakfast or lunch, or even dinner now!!And the staff is always friendly and wonderful! :)
