Nudie's Honky Tonk

Lower Broadway is full of live music bars (lucky us!). So what sets this one apart? Firstly, you can be fairly up close to the band which makes for fun interaction. Secondly, there is often a band playing rock. Even metal. Bonus points! And thirdly, it is a bit of a well kept secret as it bears the name of a music industry clothing designer (I'm looking at you, Elvis) and not a county music mega star. So even if you haven't "heard of" Nudie's, do yourself a favor and stop in. There is a difference amongst many of the honky tonks. For me, this one hits right. PS everyone is clothed. ;) Pro Tip: look directly above the stage and you will see Nudie's full size Cadillac mounted on the wall!

It's not like you're going to have a hard time finding a bar or live music on Broadway, but I do think it's hard to find the "perfect" spot. Nudie's is it. They have a long bar and many tables with plenty of seating. Live rock music from 70s, 80s, 90s which is definitely my vibe. Clean restrooms, good service, priced accordingly. Not a cheap place to drink, but comparable to the other establishments along Broadway.

The music is what first attracted me and then I walked in and the air felt amazing. I first went to the restroom in the basement area and it was clean. I came back and sat down and the young lady gave me a menu. I perused the menu and ordered the chicken tender basket and sweet and spicy margarita. I am not a spicy fan and I felt my stomach immediately start to hurt, so I asked for a regular margarita. The regular margarita was just ok, nothing spectacular. The chicken tenders and fries came out fresh and hot. They tasted amazing! I would definitely order them again. The only thing I didn't like was that I was charged $0.50 for ranch when it was supposed to come with the meal and it was not noted that ranch was an extra fee anywhere on the menu. I overall enjoyed the restaurant and would probably come back if I was ever in the area.

I love the band "The Garden of Eden" if you are in town make sure to check out this band, I had fun time listening their music for over 4 hours, it was awesome! Oh all the cocktails I had are pretty good too.

11/17/23: OMG another fun bar. Warning it's about 3 loooong flights up and nooo elevator!Upon entering a huge car hanging from the ceiling once again sensory overload. As there were no seats we headed upstairs to the rooftop area. Great choice. We actually stayed for about 3 hours listening to music. If ever in Nashville check out where Jericho Rose is performing they are amazing, entertaining and all out FUN.Note: there's a giant ice water glass container where folks achieve their own water. You order at the bar receive your number and they bring food to the table.There is a separation once you leave the covered area of the bar and walk to the open rooftop area there is security there ensuring any drinks in glass are poured Into plastic cups.Jericho Rose sang variety not only country and highly encourages requests. Throughout their performance many dirty toasts, they had us patrons in stitches.As we exited and another group performing downstairs and patrons dancing and having a great time.I truly enjoyed time spent.

Nudies is always a favorite every time we are in Nashville. Great music on the roof top. Artist did some rap and country so nice mix. We haven't good food so don't want to judge but service and drinks are always good!

Love Nudie's! Every time we are in Nashville this is a must stop. Not only does it have Nashville's Longest Bar it also has some great food, beautiful Bartenders, plenty of staff, full bar, and some of the best local music in Nashville. Foodwise my fave is the Nashville Hot Chicken Tacos so good & my Wife said some of the best Chicken Tenders she has had. Make one of your Broadway stops and Honky Tonk over to Nudie's. Cheers!

Just drinks for us but really fun place. Service was great. Ambiance was very cool and welcoming! Bartenders were super sweet.

Bar tender was terrible! Waited 30 min for a to go box and she still never brought it and then refused to let me speak to a manager
