Novilhos Brazilian Steak House

We did buffet style. A server comes to you with a skewer of meats and you can get it as you like. Also, You can get different type of meats, salad, stews, and cheeses with buffet style. Meats are decent, although types of meats are limited. They seem to have a good list of drinks too. Wish they had Brazilian juices or drinks with passion fruits or guava. Service is great. Ambient is nice - not loud and you can have conversations with your family and friends. They have a parking lot for 40 cars or so right in front of the restaurant, which is super convenient! Make sure to book when you go!

What a wonderful beautiful day..it was 16June 2024 Breathtaking "Sunshine Blue skies" even the wind was nice and slightly breezy not chilly at all..The journey started on the Westside but eventually founded it way on the Eastside..I felt like the TV show."The Jefferson"for many of those who may remember..At Novilhos a Brazilian joint in Bellevue a " Nice and Quiet" oasis's I felt I finally got my piece of the Pie. The Hostess was so nice and warm Welcoming..I explained it was my first time and wanted to take a few pictures.. I felt like a movie star and it never stopped."Irma" our server..I pray I got her name right was so curious..polite and knowledgeable that's the way customer service should be! She was doing a good job..her customer service was outstanding and friendly! The storyline is I'm Afro-American and I believe she of Brazilian descent, she made me feel like royalty "Prince Akeem Joffer. While existing my eyes search the sky desperately for rain and No-one would ever know that I was crying because that was the 7th time of my life I was so happy.Besides everyone knows that a man ain't supposed to cry..to the world outside my tears I refuse to explain.

Made reservations for a Thursday evening and got seated right away. It was our first time here so we were given an overview of how everything worked. We started off at the unlimited salad bar. There was a lot of options to choose from and everything I ate from there tasted great. Additionally, there were tons of meat variety and all of them was sooo good and flavorful. The overall ambiance was great too. It's more homey and cozier than some of the other steak houses. Service was pretty bad to be honest. I was under the impression that we'd be given complimentary cheese bread, mashed potatoes, plantains. Because the other tables got it. But we had to flag the servers down multiple times. We also never got checked up on by anyone, and had to flag down the servers multiple times for a refill on our water. It wasn't even that busy. Additionally, even though we had our "token" flipped to red (meaning to pause on meat coming by), the meat guys would still come and it was getting overwhelming. I would come again. But I just hope they improve the quality of their service.

So it's not restaurant review, but more like cautionary tale, I wish I would be able to do restaurant review but...short story, friend gave me Groupon for $120 voucher/4 people dinner, cool, calling to add it to my reservation of 5 adults 1 kid and find out that it's HAVE to be exactly 4 people. I'm sorry, but that makes 0 sense, you don't want to honor Groupon for more then 4 people(math you pay less for group of 4 vs 6). Groupon site does say 4 or more! dinners. well I guess I take my 6 people business elsewhere and return Groupon for man/pedi(I do appreciate my friends gift and she was more then happy to know I got mani/pedi as gift from her).

I know the main draw is the meats, but the salad bar that they have is so good!! I couldn't get enough of the mushroom risotto and the curry with rice was also delicious. Not to say that the meats were bad, but I would definitely come back here and exclusively chow down on the salad bar!! Overall for the meat portion, it was pretty standard, but there was a good flow of meats coming out organically, and then waitstaff asking us if we wanted any particular meat to be brought out to us. We also got some desserts which were really tasty, and they gave my husband a free choice of one for his birthday which was nice. Would return to check out their happy hour deals!Free and plentiful parking outside

I'm typing this as I'm falling asleep after a delicious anniversary dinner (annnd I woke up and hour later to finish this review). Just so you are aware, prepare to spend a pretty penny here (worth it). It's $65 to dine, mashed potatoes,polenta, plantain and cheese bread are included. Drinks and dessert not included. Drinks are $17-25 per glass. 2 people could easily be over $200 depending on what you order.Pros:*This is the most easygoing Brazilian steakhouse I've ever eaten at, ever. Feels like the meat comes out at a nice, manageable pace. I didn't feel rushed to wolf down my food to make space in my stomach or on my plate for more. *Variety: They had over 10 cuts of meat from beef, chicken, lamb and pork. *Recommendations: homemade flan, polenta, lamb, red blend, old fashioned (buyer beware, they'll use premium liquor without telling you. More on that later, but I still recommend it). The drinks were very good. Ya gotta get some churrascaria too! It's Brazil's style steak. The fatty bits on the outside were SO good, I'm glad I got seconds before we tapped out. *Stand out Gaucho (meat server): Patrick (he's got nice locs) went above and beyond to make our visit special. Everyone was generaly cordial, but Patrick was polite and engaging. He shared a little about his culture, and added he helped prepare food, so we got to try his secret recipe lamb and BBQ ribs. Omg. The lamb was amazing. If you happen to meet Patrick, ask him about the lamb!Cons:* It's not that we need to feel special, but we added a note when making the reservation it's our wedding anniversary, and no one said a word. It's really ok, but previous anniversary dinners we would at least be told that *Up selling liquor without disclosure. My husband ordered 2 old fashioneds that are $17 each. When we got the bill he was charged $20 each. Apparently they use premium liquor without disclosure and just add it to the bill. Yes, it's only $6, but we should have been given the option. It isn't noted anywhere on the menu.We asked the server about this before paying she said "you asked for it". When we told her we only ordered old fashioned she said again we asked for premium liquor. We decided not to contest it, but buyer beware. Overall, it's high on the list of Brazilian steakhouses and we'll be back. For Patrick, if not the meat, haha.

Excellent food quality. The service was superb and outside of some atmosphere issues we had a wonderul evening with friends.

Always an awesome experience! Our favorite waiter is Moi! He always brings us the type of meat we want and knows that we like it well done! He remembers us every time! The service is always 10/10!

Several years ago our family went to Novilhos for dinner. Recently we had the opportunity to return after receiving a Groupon gift.It is very pricey, but the quality and variety of choices made the price seem reasonable. The ambience is pleasant, service was impeccable and we were delighted to find the experience was as we recalled from our first visit. I observed several Brazilian families dining that night. That was a "seal of authenticity" . Give yourself a big treat one of these days!

Amazing food, service, and experience! We definitely come back!!! Servers were very attentive and options for all in the party!
