Not Not Tacos

Not Not Tacos...the culinary genius of the culinary genius Sam the Cooking Guy. #iykyk. I've been several times and always forget to review, probably because I jump in to eating as soon as my not, not tacos are ready. The counter is located inside the Little Italy food hall which, while always busy, has lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Menu has the regular staples, as well as monthly specials. We got the Nashville hot chicken, Smokey pork & Mac, and Korean short rib tacos. While I normally like corn tortillas, the flour tortillas are fresh and complement the fillings perfectly. The Nashville chicken had a nice amount of spice w/ vinegar and the Smokey pork & Mac was nicely balanced. But the star for us was the Korean short rib. Amazing flavor, perfect cook...just...yum! And the tater tots were perfectly cooked with a crisp outside crunch and cooked but not mushy inside. We ordered the four taco combo which was perfect for sharing. Totally enjoyable!!!

Good tacos, great happy hour price (currently 2 tacos and a margarita or beer for $15)!Lots of options and monthly tacos. You won't find Mexican tacos here.The location is nice and you can sit in the food hall or in the outdoor plaza. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food came out quick - they text you when your order is ready which was nice. You can also order ahead!

Always wanted to come to Sam's restaurant and it didn't disappoint the service was just as good as the food the tacos were absolutely incredible. I will most definitely be back when me and my gf is back in San Diego.

Wonderful experience, "Sam the Cooking Guy" has done a great job of providing delicious unique flavors with TacoS. We ordered Korean Beef Tacos omg amazing the flavor of the meat was delicious and tender.next up was fish tacos prepared with what I'm thinking was an Icelandic cod in a delicious batter. I don't know what the sauce was but it was amazing, the portion of the fish was huge, I actually couldn't finish it. They offer a trio taco plate which included potato tacos, carne asada and a fish tacos. Wow, they were all better than anticipated. the mashed potatoes are topped with potato chips which added a great little crunch.We will be back soon you can choose to eat outside or inside which is so nice in this beautiful San Diego weather!

We were in the area and my friend knew about this food hall from the YouTube channel. We got the Korean short rib and the pork Mac cheese. The short rib was yummy. It was flavorful and actually tasted Asian. The pork with Mac n cheese was a bit too much. I thought the Mac n cheese didn't add anything to the pork.

Perfectly average food. Creative tacos fillings, I had the Mac and cheese + pork, cashew chicken and shrimp tacos. Cashew chicken and shrimp were good and flavorful, but not great. The Mac and pork wasn't good, the Mac is not cheesy at all and the pork was very dry and bland. It is located in a food hall so no service provided and has a very social ambiance. Great place to meet friends over food and a drink. I don't feel the need to go back because there are so many good places, not need to revisit the average ones.

Needed a quick and easy lunch and the Little Italy Food Hall was the perfect choice! I got two tacos: the smokey pork and mac and the cashew chicken. Both delicious in their own ways! I'm usually pretty basic with my tacos but decided to try the mac and cheese one, and it was pretty heavy but it was so good! We also got chips and guac. The guac seemed super fresh. I loved the chicken taco and would definitely get it again.

I'm from New York and I follow Sam the Cooking Guy on Social Media.First time in San Diego and someone from my conference mentioned Sam has a place?? Cool man, lemme slide by and grab some food.Street parking was easy-peasy, I walk into a nice looking food court. Lots of booths - food choices but I know what I want, tacos. Now we all know New York City makes the best tacos, lemme see what Sam is putting out to the public. I see a few young men behind the counter hustling. They're cooking, stirring and making things happen. I'm directed to an iPad like register and tell them I have tots with my Yelp check in.*Huzza!I ordered two specialty tacos, Nashville Hot Chicken and Duck. Both of them, fantastic choices. The duck was moist and the Nashville chicken had the right amount of heat.The tots? Tots aren't an east coast thing. I went back to the conference taking a tot, dipping it in ketchup and seeing all the punk asses wanting me to share. Hey, there's a no sharing rule in my world. Keep your hands outta my tots!Not not tacos had good food and good vibes. 5 star experience from me

Tacos that are definitely! We tried the Korean BBQ taco, Shrimp taco, and Po'Boy taco with a side of tots! Decently priced. Tasted delicious and fresh. My favorite was the Korean BBQ Taco. They also had Margheritas slushies. Service was quick, 10 to 15 mins. This restaurant was located inside the Little Italy Food Hall!

This is actually located in the Little Italy Food Hall, I walked by a few days ago looking for it an walked right by. This time I found it by chance. The food is good, I just had the one taco, they run a little small but they do seem to be over stuffed. The tater tots where good as well, large serving that comes in its container. For me it seemed a bit overpriced but during happy hours 3-6, they have get 2 tacos an a beer or margarita for $15, which doesn't seem to bad, I do wish that they served the tots with the meal intend of an additional order. Overall it was good an I was full! Lol
