Food is ALWAYS GREAT Have tried several different things here and enjoy the service they are friendly and helpful The ambiance takes me to the great dinners in other cities. We try to go monthly to celebrate birthdays in our family. (We don't necessarily let them know but my husband and I have a great time.)

Made a return visit. So sad the location in midtown was destroyed. I came to the Green Hills location. This time I tried the French toast. I was completely stuffed, I couldn't finish it. The French toast was delicious. and the coffee was plentiful. I got the two eggs and two bacons as well. (comes with the dish). If you want a great breakfast diner experience, definitely stop by.

It's a cozy diner experience. I've never been to NY, so I can't compare its authenticity, but I don't have any complaints. The servers are always nice and we got our food quickly. The portions are very generous, especially if you have the griddle cakes or french toast. Very easy to share a single plate. The corned beef hash was really good and I liked the chewy bagel. The only thing I'd want is maybe more cream cheese with the bagel but that's just me. We have been here a few times and we will be back.

I thought I needed to write a review but reading the others it's clear this place needs no help from me!Staff was lovely and fun. It's clear they have many regulars but were welcoming and fun with newbies.Down home food, griddle cakes bigger than my HUSBANDS hand!

We went for brunch and I would say it's solid. Noting was bad, but nothing stands out. We did have great service and I enjoyed my meal. I got the Nosh Benedict and it was very good. Great amount of sauce and great flavor. We won't not go again, we will just try other places first.

Seated quickly and our server was fast and helpful.I ordered the Bacon, spinach, cheese omelette which was delicious. The omelette was hot and very generous in size. I ordered the slice tomatoes for the side and they were 3 huge slices and very tasty.My wife ordered two eggs and ham- the eggs were cooked exactly the way she requested. Her side was potatoes which are small pancake shaped, delightfully crispy on the outside and soft and yummy inside.Our server kept our coffee cups full with steaming hot coffee. We left very full and satisfied!

Always reliable spot for a quick lunch. We have been going here since it was downtown.

Food was excellent.Service was great.Prices were reasonable.Selection & variety were spot on.No complaints here.Can't wait to go back and people watch while I eat!You should come too!

The eggs on my breakfast sandwich were so runny it made a huge mess & left a pool of yolk below as I ate it. The toast was somehow burnt on one section but almost entirely un-toasted. 2 runny eggs, 3 half slices of bacon, and plain bread.. They clearly threw this together. The cashier was also rude. I will not be returning.

Good diner, sorta a Jewish deli. Lox eggs and onions were good, potato pancakes were tasty, as were the silver dollar potatoes. Bagels were good even though they were flown in.
