Old fashioned deli restaurant is hard to find these days. Don't have to go to New York for great food. Matza Ball soup was delicious. Latka was fantastic. Pastrami was awesome!

Well I thought about giving them a 5 but I had been spoiled at the UT game Saturday by cook out. Fresh NY bagels, fresh lox, spiced Cream cheese and all the fixings. So I had been spoiled already. Lol I had the scrambled eggs, onions and lox. Good but thought it needed more lox. Potato cakes great and yummy hot water. Service was fantastic thanks to the beautiful Harmony. My coffee was always hot and she checked on me frequently. I was the fist patron there and felt like they cared. Harmony was the Ambiance. Lol

So I used to live in Nashville starting in 2009, this place used to be a 5 star establishment in food, service, and ambience. Today while driving back to Memphis from Knoxville I stopped and bought a $20 pastrami and Swiss sandwich and I got a tough, grizzly mess. In fact in all my time on Yelp this is my first 1 star rating and the first time I've ever posted a picture of my food I hope something changes for the better because when they were good they were really good.

NYC it's not! I grew up in Montreal. This is nowhere near as good. BUT, for Nashville, it's not bad. Service was very pleasant and warm. Food was ok, nothing bad. The restaurant is clean with a parking lot. I've been back about e wry 6 months.I miss Montreal smoked meat. I miss good chocolate babka. I miss really good Jewish Deli food. Sigh!

Really good and I will go back BUT I was hoping for great and it wasn't. Tried lox eggs and onions (I will have that again), corned beef sandwich (good but not great), French toast (normally love it with egg bread - but this was a bit dry), and matzoh ball soup ( very good). Coffee was just lukewarm this time but was fine last time. Worth going just not what I was hoping for.

I was pretty surprised about how busy it was and now good the food was! It reminded me of comfort food from Waffle House but 2 or 3 steps above that. I got the Lox, Eggs, and Onion, which is literally why it sounds like, scrambled together. The saltiness of the lox tastes really good with the eggs. It also came with silver dollar potato cakes that were homemade and crispy. I'd probably come back, to be honest

Meh. It's a kosher type deli and probably seems really good to people who haven't had the real deal in New York or other cities. I go here maybe twice a year and usually I feel like I've gotten my fix of something that resembles a deli. The last visit, I had a pastrami reuben that was chewy like shoe leather. I gave up after my jaw started to lock up about half way through. 3 stars is a benefit-of-the doubt as this was by far my worst experience. A deli meat sandwich that isn't tender is a serious misstep.
