This casual restaurant/bakery is inside the North Park produce grocery store and they have traditional middle eastern food with good portion sizes, reasonable prices and delicious food. Usually takes about 15 mins or less for an entree and u can either call in your order so it's ready when you show up or order at the front and seat yourself. Their quality is good and portions are good (especially when it comes to rice with an entree).They also will give u raw onions or sumac on the side if u ask for it. I called ahead and ordered the Greek chicken salad and it was great!

I like north park produce I have been shopping there for 23 years, I do not have any problems with the store itself or its employees, but the food place is a different story. Today I wanted to buy food to take out ( they have amazing middle eastern food.I guess they have new crews working or new management anyway while I was waiting and watching the crews conveniently discussing among themselves don't know what, I opened my phone tempted to record the action, but decided not to record. My name was called for the food, and one employee confronted me about taking a video which I opened my phone and showed him there was nothing recorded which I should have, he proceeded to warn me and with strong attitude. I wish the owners try to get good customer service, I like the food but the service gets zero star otherwise the food is 4.5 stars, while I was heading towards the exit one customer said they have very bad customer service

Service can be hit or miss but the food never fails to deliver. ALWAYS call in your order as everything is cooked fresh and hot.Sometimes service is good, sometimes not but I would say it ranges somewhere in the middle overall. Portions are hefty and our go to is usually the chicken kebab, beef kebab or the chicken shwarma. You get a huge helping of basmati rice, a grilled tomato and flatbread.There is an attached grocery store as well that have items you won't find in your average Vons or Ralph's. A great little lunch spot in the Poway area often frequented by locals and during lunch by those in the nearby business parks. Pretty tasty!

It was my first time here and I like that they have a bakery and grill inside the grocery store. I met up with some friends at this location, but actually went to the the wrong one at first LOL. We shared a platter, apple salad, tabouleh, hummus, etc. The platter was huge and very nicely presented. It had skewers of Chicken Tikka and Beef Shawarma, served with different kinds of rice. Both salads were refreshing and hummus was great. The giant pita bread was bigger than my head! Before we left, we decided to get a tray of baklava as well. Everything was delicious and service was excellent.

Mouthwatering Mediterranean yumminess located in Poway! This restaurant is connected to a Mediterranean grocery store and a shopping center with tons of parking.The food here is delicious! They have a variety of stews and meats you can choose from. You can get a plate that comes with their yummy rice and bread and choose the type of meat you'd like. I personally like getting everything à La cart, Shawarma by the pound and skewers of chicken. They also have this garlic type of spread, I put on my food. It's just amazing! Their hot sauce is also delicious and I think they're both handmade.Ordering, walk up to the counter and order your food, they call your name when your order is ready. They have seating inside if you'd like to sit in the restaurant and enjoy your food. I usually do takeout. Definitely my go to spot when I'm in the Poway area.

Stopped here for lunch after a hike in Julian. Their portion sizes are huge! I had plenty of leftovers for another meal. I got the ground beef kabobs plate. I wish the plate came with sauces since the dish itself is a little dry. The shop has plenty of seating and is good for large groups. They also have self serve hot water and tea, a nice bonus on a rainy day when we came. Go check them out!

We love this restaurant and go here often for lunch and order their family meals for our party dinners. There is usually a short line at lunch and dinner. The portions are generous and their kabobs are juicy. There is free tea and water for customers.The market is attached and that's a great place to shop for fresh produce, deli meats, feta and olives, spices, and meats.

We ordered take out dinners of chicken kabob plates. We also ordered their fresh hummus. The chicken kabob plates here are generous portions, tasty and cooked to perfection. It a fantastic dish. The service was fast and friendly. I ordered the food via phone and it was ready in 15 minutes. It was fresh, hot and presented well. The side sauces were perfectly made and complimented the main dishes. The restaurant was clean and bright. Their kitchen is a well working machine to make great Mediterranean food.

I can't vouch for the grocery myself (although I've heard good things) but I can recommend the restaurant inside! I've only ordered delivery so I don't know if there's seating but this place has the absolute BEST chicken kabob I have ever had! No joke. It is always super tender, flavorful and consistently delicious! The plate comes with an awesomely large portion of rice, cucumber salad, pita and a whole roasted tomato.I have probably ordered from this restaurant, a dozen or more times and the chicken is always perfect! The pita is just OK, but YOU. MUST. TRY. THE. CHICKEN!Did I mention the chicken? Yes, it's that good.
