North Central Sports Bar

First time my husband and I were ever at this bar. Sandy was amazing and so sweet. Great bartender. The locals and regulars were so nice and welcoming. We even ran into a good friend of ours who's a bartender from a Scottsdale bar. All in all had a really great time and will definitely go back...Perfect neighborhood bar!!!!

It's a great local neighborhood bar. patrons are usually willing to play pool drinks are very affordable. bartenders are awesome I can't say anymore

Great dive bar vibes. Seems like this is a spot with a bunch of regulars but you still feel welcomed. Big patio, cheap drinks, karaoke and room to dance when your jam comes on

Jane, one of the owners, is one of the most gracious, and pleasant business owners I know.Tanya is one of the most awesome bartenders (and friends) I've ever known.I have been going for about a year, and I feel like this is my "Cheers". I know many of the other patrons, and I know the staff well. They always treat me like a friend, and the atmosphere is very welcoming.They also have free WiFi, and one of the best patios in Phoenix.They have free pool every Wednesday night, and pool tournaments every Tue. and Thurs., plus free ping pong on the patio, and foosball and darts in the front room.They have several large-screen televisions, with various sports events on.If you like small, semi-dive bars, and you've not been, stop in and tell 'em Vern sent you. Trust me, you'll like it.

This is definitely a dive bar, but in every positive sense of the expression. I met up with a friend there on a Sunday night (as we were looking for cheap drinks). It was kinda quiet when we got there but then picked up a little as a few more locals came in.It's small but the outdoor space definitely made up for that. It was older (and from the outside it may look intimidating) but a clean place and the staff (bartender) was pleasant and welcoming. A good mix of ppl, definitely a local spot... loved it. As promised, there were good beers cheep .. even on tap.

I've been there a couple times since its right around the corner. I do not recommend this place.

Rude bartenders and bar service was lacking to the point of irritation. I waited for 20 minutes to even place my order.

This is bye far the worst establishment around they do not care abt there patrons at all just there money. My mother of 70 years old goes here and they over serve here every time and let her drive home drunk. There's been several times that she's fallen at there bar and they continue to serve her. Last night she had to go to hospital after falling once again at bar. I've asked them twice now to cut her off and not let her back into the bar and bar tender refused. I also called another time and asked for the owner to call me and once again I was not contacted. If this does not stop I will be taking legal action against this bar for over serving my mother and letting her drive home. She's on all kids of medications and should not be drinking with them. They say that they cut her off after 5 drinks then let her drive home. I seriously can't believe that they care abt there patrons. All they care abt is the money.
