Nice lil bar and restaurant located in the Bostonian. I was staying here for a quick lil trip and decided to drop in, this was a nicely made dish for the location it was in. The Quincy market is right across the street so it gives u an alternative to all that stuff

I ate here for breakfast after a stay in the hotel. The restaurant looks fairly new and has a smattering of TVs around the area. I was traveling alone but noticed a couple families comfortably seated and enjoying their meals.The breakfast food was pretty good, nothing crazy. I suspect this restaurant has more to offer for lunch and dinner but I was out and about at those times.

They now only have breakfast menu and a 4-5 item regular menu. When you come in, during the week in the afternoon expecting a lunch/dinner menu you are handed the large breakfast menu and a very small teeny tiny lunch menu that is not reflective of their menu online or in previous Yelp posts. I watched multiple people come in and leave upon learning this and I myself then followed suit. Not a single chair was occupied and for such a prime location mid afternoon that speaks volumes.

My friends and I stopped here to eat breakfast. It was our first time eating in this fancy restaurant. The breakfast was delicious and a bit expensive. The waitress was nice and attentive. I would definitely eat here again.

This was my first time in Boston and my friend selected this restaurant for brunch. The only great thing was that the staff was very apologetic and were understanding of our experience. We made a reservation for 10:45 and were seated about 10 minutes after. They were short staffed it seemed as they handed us menus but it took them another 10 minutes just to get water for our table. The table next to us was seated after us and got their drinks and food before us. When our waitress came over she did state they were short staffed but spent several times coming back over to re-do our drink orders or that she needed clarification. The coffee mugs were 4 oz. so our group was constantly needing refills. They did not have avocado toast that I ordered so I got a breakfast sandwich that came out later than everyone else's. They did comp my meal as well as take 20% off my friend's bill as well which was great. But overall, it seemed that the prices were too steep and the food wasn't worth the wait. The staff was friendly enough but short staffed is still short staffed. Pictured below is my friend's bloody mary ($18) as well as the meals everyone received ($14-$18)

Ratings are about right for this restaurant in the Bostonian Hotel. Service was fair. Food was just ok. Got the chicken and waffles and the chicken was a little overdone and unseasoned, ie flavorless. Wife got the lobster Benewhich was good. Value is junk even for Boston. Was better off hitting the kiosks in the nearby Boston Public Market.

Pass on this one. It's the Bostonian Hotel restaurant and not great. High prices, low quality and add 20% to every bill. We sat down, server handed us menus and a supplemental menu. As I was reading the supplemental, a server took it from my hands stating this isn't valid as it ended at 7. At this time it was maybe 7:15?Bummer, cause I was eyeing the fish tacos. About 20 min later, the server is telling another client the specials, specifically fish tacos are available. When k asked she said they were not. Hmmm. Not a great experience and way over priced for my son and wife's meals.

Buyer BEWARE! They auto add 20% Gratuity to every tab and don't tell you about it! Wish I would have read the reviews before dining here. My bad! Was staying at the Bostonian, so we were enticed by the Lobster Benedict offering. The staff seemed stressed and short staffed but were friendly and got to us as soon as they could. Food was quick 4 stars, the bartender was friendly and kept our mimosas full 4 stars, minus stars for auto adding 20% tip and not telling us. I ended up leaving another 25% because I didn't realize that was their policy. It feels very shady and I got ripped off, not a nice feeling to leave with.If adding Auto Gratuity is your policy, fine, but it needs to be clearly circled and/or verbaled to the guest. Unless your in the business of ripping people off, then by all means keep doing what you are doing!

Gross. Made my hangover worse....We frequent Boston a lot, Probably not coming back here
