Super bad customer service, made me sit at bar when tables were open. The atmosphere was so bad that I requested to make my order Togo. Once I changed my order to go. They took an extra 15 min for my order , just because I wasn't dining in.Took me 1 hour to revive a Togo order for 2 rolls. They don't care about customers

We decided to try this place with some friends. As others have mentioned, it's a quaint little place and if you are more than four people, it's probably going to be quite the wait. The staff were very friendly, the food was tasty, and overall a good spot. It doesn't top our favorite Federal Way sushi place, only because of the price point. Nori tends to be higher in price than others. On this visit, I was excited to see they had Ramen. We had just been out for Sushi two nights prior so I went for something different.I ordered the Tonkatsu Nagasaki ramen. I really enjoyed the broth and the flavors. Lots of good, vegetable flavors. I also really like the flavor of the noodles that they used! One of the people I was with ordered the Gyoza, which were delicious. I have never seen or had them battered in Tempura and fried. But that was really good, and I would go back just for that!I also ordered the tempura combination, which I really enjoyed. The variety of items including my favorite squash! It was lite and fresh. If you like tempura, don't forget to order some!We finished the meal with Yuzu Sherbert. If you like that kind of thing, highly recommend this. It was delicious; citrus tart and sweet all at once!

Seafood was so fresh and literally melted in my mouth. The California roll was fine, better than some places because it wasn't too heavy on the mayo. Restaurant was busy and there was a rush but food didn't take too long to come out and service is as friendly as it can be. It is pretty loud inside though.

We had a party of 4. It is a small narrow shop with about 7-8 tables. Would not be suitable for a large party. Dark painted walls and minimal decor work for this cozy restaurant. Th service from the waiter was slow and we had to ask for things after extended waits like water refills and the check. He was the only one waiting, serving & bussing tables. The sushi was good and full of fresh flavor with nice presentation.

Really nice little sushi restaurant in a strip mall! Restaurant was surprisingly busy at 4pm on a Saturday afternoon which was a good sign. Fish tasted fresh and well prepared. Staff was helpful and food came out quickly. Would return again if in the area!

2nd visit here and was amazed! The sushi chefs are very professional and skilled. My boyfriend was introducing me into Nigiri and the chef delivered us an amazing experience. The quality of each cut of fish is unreal!! They really have the best quality fish for the price. Thank you Chef Ji Won Park you rock! You made our dinner wonderful! You take very much pride in your craft and we appreciated the entirety of the rolls and nigiri. Will be back again! :)

Fresh and delicious. Glad I stopped here while in Federal Way. Server was kind and I never wanted or needed anything. You can tell they are experienced and talented. They have a small but welcoming restaurant. I can't wait to be back with my friends.

If you want a food experience most of us have not had, if you want to travel to a place far away that most of us have never been ......... ........... Just go to NORI SUSHI, Federal Way.**When you walk in the door of this magical tiny restaurant, the first thing you encounter is a tall man, seemingly just waiting for you, and he immediately bows to you. **It is easy to imagine you are in Japan, the environment in incredible, as all the staff seem to be to be 100% Japanese, from the host that bows to you, to the soft spoken waitress that seems to float on air, to the Japanese men behind the sushi bar constantly making sushi, but sushi is only part of the extensive menu. **From the moment we entered this restaurant, we knew the Japanese culture and we were in awe. **Then the food started to arrive: Extremely Fresh, Extremely Colorful, Extremely Delicious, all cooked to perfection, like we have never ever tasted before! Many Vegetarian/Vegan dishes, chicken, fish we had never heard of, beef, pork, an endless menu.**The exotic host not only bowed when we came in, but every time he talked to us, he bowed upon arriving to our table and leaving. **I could go on forever the experience was that fantastic, we just cannot wait to go back!!NORI SUSHI, 32911 1ST Avenue South, Federal Way, 98003 253 838-1476 OPEN EVERY DAY UNTIL 9:15

Hidden in a small strip mall in Federal way, super small but well worth the adventure of finding it. We had company and decided to order on line. Easy experience. Rather than wait for delivery we decided to pick it up. Was a huge order for six people but absolutely done perfectly. They had four sushi chefs behind the bar. We were told 35 minutes, got there a little early and everything was done. We had ordered 10 rolls and an order of Teriyaki for my husband who doesn't like sushi. He said it was very good. They gave him a huge portion, two large scoops of rice and a side salad. He couldn't eat all of it.Having had sushi in Japan I can say for sure this is Americanized and not true Japanese but for the American version its done very well. There were some comments about the service being slow and the servers didn't seem attentive. If you've ever been in Japan their dining experience is far different from ours. Its slow and to be savored and the servers never hover, its considered rude.
