We ordered delivery from here on a Friday at 9:30pm.It took us 1h 10min to get our food!!! Our delivery driver was waiting waiting waiting and actually went to go deliver another order while waiting for our delivery to be prepared. I had to call the restaurant ~45 min in to ask if they were done preparing our order, as the app was still telling us our order was in progress.Once the food arrived, it was small and disappointing. The fish was NOT fresh or delicious. All that waiting for such a sad meal....The worst part was the 3 rolls we ordered was $62 pre-tip :(. My husband and I were still hungry, and my husband ate most of it because I was so disappointed in the quality of the fish. This experience has turned me off from trying a new sushi place for a while - better off going with the staples we know are good. I can't recommend that anyone come here and I'm very confused by the positive reviews.

Nori Sushi has become my go-to neighborhood spot, and I can't recommend it enough for those solo dining adventures. The welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff make it feel like a second home, and it's one of those rare places where I'm completely comfortable dining alone. My usual order is the chirashi bowl, a delightful creation that never fails to impress. The combination of fresh sashimi on a bed of Japanese rice, accompanied by miso soup, is a true delight for the senses. The chef's selection always adds an element of surprise and showcases the restaurant's commitment to quality. The staff at Nori Sushi go above and beyond to create a warm and inviting environment. Their kindness makes every visit memorable, and I genuinely feel like I'm stepping into a safe haven. If you're looking for a neighborhood gem with great food and a welcoming vibe, Nori Sushi is the place to be.

Not bad at all. Priced a good bit higher than Gorilla or Sakura, but tolerable. Would go more often if it wasn't so expensive.

Sushi was good, I got take out, but the place looked like a great spot to eat and was festive for the winter holidays with decorations. I also got there early and I felt they really take their time putting together each roll to make it right.

I came here with my family and we got the nori grand sushi and sashimi combo which is an amazing deal for what you get. The fish was really fresh and everything is perfectly shareable for a party of 2-3. On the top we got the chicago crunchy crazy: this was so fun to eat because of the burst of tobiko eggs and I love the combination of fishes and the mexican roll: the flavors for this one was different with the fresh squeezed lime and chili oil but everything worked so well together! The ambiance was really cute and quaint and I would recommend to others!

Forgot to post this on Wednesday night. Me and a best friend went there for dinner. It is his 1st time there I've been there before. The restaurant is small and it's fine. You can see the chefs making the sushi. The music was low but you can still hear it. For starters we had drinks. I had the pomegranate martini. My friend had the mango margarita. Both drinks were amazing. Then he had a Japanese beer. We order edamame as a starter. The main course we both ordered is Boston Maki (Tuna and Avocado) it was amazing. He orders the Fire Dragon Maki (Tempura Shrimp, Avacado Wrapped w/tuna and topped w/spicy shrimp, scallions, and sweet sauce). I order Dragon Mski (Tempura Shrimp, topped w/unagi, avocado, and unagi sauce without the mayo). The chef's special was Toro (Fatty Tuna). The service was great. Our server was nice and friendly. For sure we will be back.

Decent neighborhood sushi place! Nothing spectacular but hits the spot if you are in the mood for sushi. It is on the pricier side for the quality, but the service was good and I left really full. What we ordered:-Nori Grand Sushi & Sashimi Combo: I'd give it a 3/5. Negihama maki was good. Didn't care for the escolar jalapeño maki. If you just want to try a variety of their fish, I'd recommend getting this.-Spicy creamy scallop sushi: 5/5. Favorite thing we ordered.-Salmon toro sushi: 4/5. Was okay. Not as melt in your mouth as some fatty salmons I've had in the past.-Hamachi: 3/5. I would skip this-Hotate/scallop: 0/5. I almost spit out this piece. Texture was so strange and chewy. Scallop pieces I've had in the past just melt in your mouth but it wasn't the case this time

The maki is so delicious and the service was great. The energy is very classy and modern, a great way to spend an evening. Cocktails are great but expensive. I recommend the Philly maki!

I have no idea why this restaurant is not more busy. Their sushi is exceptional. Their rice could be a little better but their fish is fantastic. I can't speak much to their more fancy rolls but their nigiri has been delicious and affordable. Service has always been wonderful. This place is a gem of a neighborhood sushi bar.
