I rarely get takeout but when I do, it's probably Thai. This pad se eiw was soooo good! I was absolutely starving and it was perfect. First of all, I ordered on yelp delivery for the first time which was so easy. Highly recommend. Except don't do it here bc apparently you save 10% ordering directly from their website, which I learned after the fact. It was ready super quick. Upon picking up there were a few people eating in, but it was very clearly more of a takeout spot. Lots of table options though if you prefer eating in. This was a lot of food for a reasonable price (came out to about $18 incl tax) and was so flavorful!! I always get this dish at Thai restaurants and this was probably my favorite one I've had in Chicago so far. Will definitely be back next time I need a quick dinner!

I got the chicken pad Thai and Tom yum soup. The soup was pretty good. The pad Thai however tasted like old peanut oil. It was full of crunchy cabbage and an overload of peanuts that overpowered everything. Very disappointing and will not be ordering again.

Favorite place for pad thai. Discovered this gem a few years back and have been obsessed ever since. Menu favorites include the chicken pad Thai, chicken coconut curry, and rangoons. Great mom and pop option for all things thai food. They offer patio seating the warmer months which is great for lunch with friends and family. Takeout/delivery is always speedy and efficient! A Lincoln Park classic!

Such a cute spot- I loved looking at the artwork on the walls! Our server was very nice and managed our large party well- we had no issues with our order or food. I tried the wonton noodle bowl and it was good but a little bland. However, the chili sauce on the table went a long way towards perking it up. I'd initially been in the mood for panang with tofu but feel like tofu is really easy to mess up and since it was my first visit to this restaurant, decided not to risk it. However, my sister in law had pad Thai with tofu and the tofu was excellent- crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and packed with flavor. The veggie spring rolls with peanut sauce were excellent as well. This place is BYOB, so plan ahead if you're in the mood for an adult beverage. Otherwise, there is a liquor store nearby.

Loved the outdoor seating at this restaurant. It's a very chill atmosphere, affordable and warming dishes. The Tom yum soup was pretty good and fresh. I recommend getting the crab rangoons to start, they were great!

I did take out from Noodles in the Pot. I called it in, and was done before the promised time and they were also friendly when picking up my food. I ordered their Chicken Satay, Pad See Ew and Pad Khee Mao. Most places make a very similar chicken satay. It's hard to get this wrong, Noodles version was pretty good. Grilled chicken, peanut sauce and cucumber salad. You can't taste the curry in the chicken as well. This is a must when eating Thai. My wife ordered the Pad See Ew. It's her favorite dish and I like it as well. But this one wasn't that good. It had an off taste that didn't make it taste so great. We ordered it with chicken and it came with broccoli egg and sweet soy sauce. I'm there wasn't definitely no sweetness, so maybe that's what through us off. I ordered my pad khee mao. Is my favorite Thai dish and it's what I order 100% of the time. Recently I've been struggling to find a good tasting one. Fortunately for me, Noodles in the Pot makes a phenomenal one. I'll think what my frustration has been is the lack of spiciness. I always ask for extra hot and I can barely feel the heat, or they make me hot sauce to put on top. When I picked up my order, the notes on the receipt said "spicy, spicy, spicy." They listened and yes indeed the dish was spicy. Similar to Pad See Ew, it used the same Thai wide noodle, but comes with basil leaves, carrot, green beans, baby corn, tomato and hot pepper. It's a very flavorful dish and I ordered it with beef. The beef was tender and seasoned perfectly. I'm not sure if my wife would want to come back, but I wouldn't hesitate returning. Just wish they were open for lunch during the week.

Hands down one of the BEST Thai restaurants in Chicago! Every experience I have had so far with NITP have been A+ with food, service, & price. My absolute fave dishes are their noodle and curry options. Whenever I am a total Panang snob and I am happy to report that this place does not disappoint with flavor, freshness, & quantity! I love love love the crispy wide noodles it comes with! Their website is easy to navigate & online ordering is a breeze. The majority of my orders are delivery & they have always been either early or on-time. I highly recommend NITP!

Good idea to come here at lunch. It has some pretty good specials going on. Noodles In The Pot is a pretty tasty place for Thai. For sure there's noodles, but explore the entire menu. There's lots of things for various needs including vegetarian friendly and others. Came here with the girl at lunch to get some noodles and spicy food. I was in the mood for Thai, but not sure about her. The food here is good but the prices aren't the best, so it's best to come for the lunch specials. It's about $14 for most entrees. Lunch specials are a few bucks cheaper, and you still get a lot. Both of us got something with noodles, and these had a protein choice. Of course tofu. I had the Pad Khee Mao. This is wide rice noodles with baby corn, carrots, green beans, green peppers, and tomatoes. She had the Pad See Ew. This also was wide rice noodles, but had broccoli among vegetables. Food was pretty big portions especially at lunch. There were enough leftovers for later meals. Even at lunch it has big portions for not a lot. It has more than just noodles. There's many items that can be made vegan or vegetarian.

We ordered pick up from Noodles in the Pot and while the food wasn't bad, it also wasn't great and I don't know that I'd be back. I had the pad Thai and it didn't have much flavor in comparison to the many other places I have had pad Thai at.

Cute outdoor dining area. My gf and I shared the Pad Thai (beef) and Pad See Eiw (beef). In my opinion, the Pad Thai tasted more like a chow mein than a traditional Pad Thai with the cabbage and sauce, but was still good. The Pad See Eiw wasn't overly sweet like it is in some places which is good for some, but I'm more of sweet tooth. Portions were very good for $15.
