I'm visiting from San Jose, CA, so my standards for Vietnamese food is extra high. After 3 days without Viet food, I'm dying for some fish sauce in my life. So far, Noodle Barn has been the most decent that I've Door Dashed in Boston. Bun Thit Nuong - meat was well seasoned and had a little char on it, and the veggies were cut super thin. The noodles were too thin, but at least they weren't dry, which makes it not edible. Also the eggroll the put in there gets soggy by the time it gets to the customer. If they cared about food quality, they would put the eggroll in a separate bag so it stays crispy, especially since you're paying $2. for it. The fish sauce was also super watered down and didn't have any chili garlic or anything in it. In California, this would be 2 stars, but for Boston, it's 4 stars.

Nice service. Clean, casual place. Really bad food.Fresh rolls: if you like them having lettuce only inside (no basil/carrot/..., very few noodles), then this might be the place for you! Pad see ewd: strong egg flavor. No spices were felt. No Broccoli nor any other vegetable. Pho: no flavor. Had tomato and cucumber in it.. strange :)

I had the beef Pho. My wife had the Tom Kha. All the dishes were wonderful. We opened with Summer Rolls. A generous serving of peanut dipping sauce complemented the minty rolls. The beef in the Pho was tender, the stock rich, lots of fresh vegetables - satisfying. The Tom Kha was vibrantly sour. My wife didn't want it too spicy and the kitchen accommodated. Highly recommended.

Really liked the food. The service is wonderful. The one thing that I could recommend for improvement, in my opinion, is to totally change the music from rap/hip-hop/loud to soothing, soft, and graceful. That would make my eating experience so much more pleasant. Thank you very much.

Great lunch spot and prices. When I lived in JP this didn't exist so it was a great find. Had the Saigon salad which had a nice tangy taste - shredded cabbage, carrots, cucumbers with lemongrass beef. Wife has crispy chicken and portions were generous.

Another time I'm here, all these years this place been in JP. My pho was lukewarm, the Vietnamese crepe was $14 for fillings mostly bean sprouts... if not for convenience don't come here for pho at all cost.

My family and I frequent this establishment. The staff is friendly. The service is quick and the food is delicious. Ambience is relaxed. The prices are quite affordable without sacrificing the quality. I highly recommend the Noodle Barn.
