First thing that caught my attention was the massive fresh bakery selection in their indoor cafe! I got an iced Americano and a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie. They were both a 10/10. I have to say, it was really hard to just pick 1 dessert. Will definitely be back for more...I then sat at their restaurant and ordered lunch. I had the spinach salad with added chicken. Very good! Service was great, and you cannot beat the outdoor seating in Little Italy.Update: came back the next day to get 2 boxes of desserts. Incredible!

Ambiance: classic Little Italy restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating options. We chose to sit outside to enjoy the sunshine and hustle and bustle of the neighborhood. Good people watching and very comfortable. Food: Pesto Gnocchi: absolutely delicious! My mouth is watering as I write this review. Beautiful, delicious, and filling. A much have. Pomodoro Pasta: classic flavors and done really well. Lots of sauce to soak up at the end so I recommend ordering the bread to finish it off right. The pasta was cooked a bit Al dente for my taste but i still finished every bite. Caesar Salad: not my favorite. Didn't present as a true Caesar and could've used more dressing and Parmesan. The croutons were crushed like breadcrumbs which I liked but I wouldn't order it again. That being said, my husband found it fine but we didn't finish it. Drink: we both enjoyed the Little Italy Pilsner and shots of Don Julio Service: service was quick and attentive and our server was very friendly. I didn't get her name but she had curly brown hair and worked the outside section. We will definitely be back!

We were here strictly for the desserts. Counter service was quick & friendly. Lot's of choices. What we had:Pistacchio Cannoli. The best of the 3 for sure. My husband was all stubborn Italian..."No thanks, it is prefilled, it will be soggy." NOPE. It was delicious & maintained the crunch.Genovese Cookie: This was very tasty, but heavy & a bit pasty kind of dry. I think if we were sitting, and slowly breaking off pieces with coffee, it would have been much more enjoyable. Not a walk & eat type pf thing. Definitely shareable.Chocolate Cannoli: Prefer the Pistachio. By mixing the chocolate fully with the ricotta, you miss the fantasticalness of each ingredient. The texture felt too heavy with each swallow, probably because the cannoli shines in the lemony ricotta base...we blew it here. All three portions were generous, fairly priced & shareable. I would return. There are lots more to choose from, and the quality was certainly evident.

I love Little Italy and all the great restaurants ice cream shops, pizzaria, and desserts you can try there. After we spent a quality time in little Italy, we finally stopped by Nonna and Zucchero because we were craving their cookies and some of their desserts.I did not have a chance to dine in there, but we are planning to dine in in our next visit to San Diego.I love the varieties of cookies and desserts they have. I always buy extra for home. All the cookies are very fresh and delicious.Their Créme brûlée is indulgent. I love also their Napoleon and cannoli. Every cookies or dessert we tried were delightful.

The service was fantastic! Our server was hustling the entire time and was extremely attentive. I didn't try all of the dishes but everyone ate up their entire plates and commented on the authentic Italian flavors. The ambiance was the fun Little Italy charm and it was quiet enough to hear our group, which I appreciate.

Everything was phenomenal! Service was great & the food was exquisite! Our server constantly came to check in on us and gave us some great recommendations. The ambiance was great we where seated outside there was a nice breeze out so it wasn't that bad. We ordered the Caprese Pizza which was delicious I complaints. Both the Shrimp & Clam linguine where delicious. Tastes so fresh and homemade. Only one thing the shrimp linguine came with only (4) pieces of Jumbo Shrimp & The Clam linguine only came with (11) clams and 2 where empty. Regardless it was exquisite and I would order again the food harmony was great. I would definitely come back again. The price matches the quality of food and service you are receiving.

Excellent food - get the fried gnocchi appetizer! The pastas are also delicious, and the dessert selection from Zucchero is insane. Friendly service, plenty of seating. One of my new favorites in Little Italy!

Walked the strip and this was hands down the best smelling place walking by! The wait was about 35 mins but we didn't mind as we had our puppy with us! We were sat promptly and my espresso martini was delicious. I ordered the ravioli with truffle, cream and mushrooms! I can't remember the name but 12/10 made me feel like I was in real Italy and not little Italy! My husband got the pepperoni pizza and loved it as well!

This review is for pastries & coffee @ Zucchero. Came here for a quickie while being wait listed next door at Morning Glory. There were already a few Italian speaking gentlemen enjoying their drinks, so i know it was a legit place. The goodies on display were so tempting, i settled for latte, canoli & Jesuite, total of $15.24. Pistacio canoli was good & very rich. The jesuite was almost like a french almond croissant, flaky with almond & powder sugar on top. I found it a bit stale, wish it could have been more fresh, warm & more flaky. I m spoiled by B patisserie & the french pastries in Monterey.

While searching for dessert in the area of little Italy, we came across this restaurant. Walked inside and saw they had a fridge full of bakery items. Decided to try this. It was better than I expected. The cream filling was sweet but not too sweet to where you don't want anymore. The outer crust was amazing! To be refrigerated for quite some time and yet still holds the crunch was outstanding to me. It's a big portion so recommend to share the piece. The place reminded me of an actual Italian restaurant, filled with waiters who were dressed the part. We had this for take out but if you're interested he area and wanted a feel of Italy , I would try this spot. It has indoor as well as outdoor seating. The setup does remind you of the movies and how Italy would probably look like. Feels like you're actually there! Will come back and try other desserts.
