NoMI

Yeap, this is the service you expect from a high end hotel. And the quality of food. You can't go wrong with all their food items and your day is brighter because the server is so full of energy and helpful. This is how it's done!

My husband and I came here for our 26 year anniversary. It was my first time in Chicago. A local friend of ours recommended NoMi. It was a great recommendation. We were so happy with everything! Our server was wonderful! The entire staff was so friendly and on top of their game! We never waited for anything. They were immediately refilling our waters, offering more bread, removing dirty plates, replacing silverware, and offering the next course. It was perfect! The views!!! I think there's not a table in NoMi that doesn't have an amazing view. The main, large window faces the lake (East). Arriving just at 7, you get the full affect of the city, and lake, and then the sunset and lights of the buildings. It was absolutely magical. I couldn't get enough of it. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and clean, but honestly it could have been a pit and I wouldn't have noticed. You'll be focused on the views for the entire evening. The food!!! Everything is very fresh. It's all well-prepared. Everything was delicious. There's a good variety of dishes to choose from. Plenty of healthy, low-carb options. We each ordered our own appetizers. I had the crispy Maitake mushrooms and my husband had the mussels. We both loved our food and left nothing on our plates. Excellent choices, that we highly recommend. As our main course we shared the sushi platter. The seafood was fresh and the sushi didn't have too much rice. It was the perfect amount of food with our appetizers. They have an extensive wine and drink menu. For drinks I had a glass of the Sauvignon blanc and my husband had a red blend. For dessert we weren't really hungry enough to eat anything else but my husband wanted a pallet cleanser. They have a few sorbets. My husband settled on the cherry cola sorbet. They brought it out with a little chocolate that said "Happy Anniversary" in French. They did not add it to our bill. Very sweet of them. It was probably one of the best anniversaries we've ever had. The bill was about $230 before tip. We highly recommend coming here for any special occasion.

my boyfriend and I were looking for a nice spot to just grab drinks at before our dinner. We stumbled upon Nomi and it was such a beautiful and elegant spot to just have a quick bite. I don't exactly remember the platter we had but we did kind of have a charcuterie board starter and then we both ordered drinks. The drinks are super phenomenal and the staff is super exceptional. if you definitely want to bring a date here just for some drinks and chat I think this spot is perfect. I'm really surprised at how well they took care of us and it's a very intimate setting and some people were dressed up and some people weren't but I would say if you wanted to wow your date you guys can dress a little classy, but it doesn't have to be over the top.

- Hot chocolate Bar in NoMI - We have a company outing event in NoMI. It's my first time trying the hot chocolate bar! The staff will help you put in the order (you can choose dark or white chocolate or the spiked hot chocolate , with or without whipped cream). Then, you can self serve yourself and pick your chocolate toppings in the chocolate bar! I would definitely go back for my second hot chocolate bar again! Perfect date in cold winter time in Chicago and I would highly recommend this to all the chocolate lover! Hot chocolate bar - very dainty and cute chocolate bar with many chocolate candy options!! Hot chocolate - I ordered the dark chocolate with less whipped cream. The chocolate has very rich flavor!

So for me, this was a disappointment for restaurant week. The service wasn't that great. Had trouble getting our waiter's attention. Out of the courses served, dessert was the only one that was really good. The appetizer was okay, but not great. The entree LOOKED good, but lacked badly in the flavor department. So, even the discount of restaurant week didn't really make up for it. They tell me the view is great, but I'm afraid of heights, so didn't look.

Great place for drinks after the beach! Hit up this rooftop after doing Oak Street Beach, you won't regret it!

Outstanding customer service and amazing drinks and ambiance on a 100 degree Chicago evening . Jackie at the reception was very welcoming and accommodating of my requests and Sean our server for the evening really brought his Agame to the table catering to our food and drink orders and dealing with our rowdy crowd of 12 moms determined to have a great night out. The food was delicious, the sushi, salads and the various appetizers.. Will certainly come back soon.

I found NoMI while searching for an early Saturday brunch on my trip. Though not as high up as some lounges, the downtown city views were really nice! Another plus that the Parker hotel where it's located has it's own hotel dog, a senior pug doggo named Parker!There are a a few art pieces in the restaurant lobby as well.Their orange juice (a little more pulp next time please!) and black American coffee were right on time to rehydrate and recover from the prior evening. My usual brunch staple - their eggs Benedict- was definitely one of the best I've enjoyed. Served with Bayonne ham, fresh arugula and a pickled hollandaise with a nice bit of heat over perfectly runny eggs it had a high class taste worthy of a Sinatra song. Dessert was next - their fluffy pancakes topped with a flambeed banana. The banana had a nice crisp similar to a yummy crème brûlée but I left a lot of the pancakes. They were perfectly fluffy but I needed to stay light to walk :)My waiter was pretty attentive and on point with recommendations; the other front desk team members (and of course Parker doggo!) were just as friendly.

Located off Michigan Avenue, this elegant restaurant had beautiful floor to ceiling views of Michigan Avenue. I imagine this is very popular, especially for the Christmas parade. The staff were super friendly. For restaurant week, there was a selection of starters, entre, and dessert. The starter had three shrimp balls, the beef sandwhich was a bit rare, and there was only one choice of dessert, a cigar shaped cake, and strawberries. The other entre choice was halibut.

Beautiful scenery from seventh floor of the Park Hyatt . Very open spacious dining room. Servers were attentive and accommodating. Ordered from the Chicago Restaurant Week menu for lunch. Choices were limited but ok. At our table, food was over done, dry rather flavorless. Gf limited or substituted with much more simple dish. Desserts were the best things on the menu. So so good but a great view of the north side of the city .
