Wow!! What an experience, everything about this place was amazing. We sat at the bar which is one of my favorite things to do at new spots cause you catch all the action in the kitchen. It's definitely a place you go with a group so you can order a bunch of things to try.Our server was so sweet and incredibly helpful and making the right decisions of plates to order. The food was amazing. I wish you ordered more, but we were so full. I forgot the name, but the burnt edges dish was my favorite

When I knew that my work conference was going to be Nashville, I looked through all the great restaurants on the Nashville scene. Noko's name came up again and again and we were not disappointed. We even had a last minute addition to the party of 6 to become a party of 7 and they were so accommodating. All their food was delicious - If I see crispy sushi rice on a menu, I will immediately order and Noko's did not disappoint. The burrata special was phenomenal as well as the crab fried rice. Although I can't really eat potatoes, the hurricane fries were great and I was willing to take the risk. The brussels dish was also delicious. The rest of my coworkers got the lobster bao buns, wagyu brisket, and burnt ends and did not hear a single complaint from them regarding any of those items. All in all, I totally understand the hype around Noko and was so grateful we were able to make it to this place as visitors. Their staff were so friendly and I even received a phone call the following day thanking our party for visiting. Definitely worth going and definitely call to get a reservation. As a side note - I don't think I would classify Noko as Japanese under Yelp's categories and would say they are Asian fusion!

Simply incredible. We went for an anniversary dinner and it was everything you could want and more. I'm a Nashville native, so it takes a lot of me to say that a restaurant is amazing but Noko did it. The Caesar salad was large, crisp, and refreshing. The shrimp was a take on bang bang shrimp and it was chefs kiss (tangy, crunchy, and delicious). The wagyu beef was tender and the bbq sauce was delicious. The Brussels were the second best in the city I have had. Crispy potatoes were sweet and crispy. The restaurant is small, so I now know why it's so hard to get a reservation. The service was great and the owner actually called my phone after our reservation to check in to ensure we enjoyed our meal. The old fashioned was a little strange and the coconut drink was a little too sweet for my liking, so we will probably change those up next visit. We will be back because there's several items I'm dying to try.

Came here during a bachelor party weekend and we had a solid experience. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and the servers were all very friendly. Food wise, everything was above average, but I'm not sure if it was worth the price they were charging. Maybe I'm spoiled coming from the West Coast, but you can get similar quality food for a much more affordable price range where I'm from. Regardless, we enjoyed it here and it's definitely worth a visit if you're craving this style of food and not afraid to spend a few bucks.

I'm a fan of tapas style meals and love trying a variety of different things. We had the Dumplings, crispy with a yummy sauce. We also had the Tuna Crispy Rice. As someone who doesn't even eat sushi or raw fish -- I was surprised at how much I love this dish. There's an unforgettable crunch when you take your first bite. Then you begin to taste the sweet soy and creamy aioli, and then you realize the jalapeño is there to bring the heat -- what an unbelievable way to start your meal experience. 10/10 would definitely recommend. MUST HAVE! The Burnt Ends Lettuce Wrap was very very tasty. The basil, charred beef belly, and sweet honey glaze went perfectly together. Pro-Tip, order the Crispy Potatoes and add potatoes to each Lettuce Wrap -- the ultimate bite! Couldn't decide between the Hurricane Fries and the Crispy Potatoes -- so we got both. If you're a big fan of mayonnaise, I would recommend the Hurricane Fries. After a few fries, it was too savory and rich for me, but I think it's more about preference. Every dish I tasted was delicious! I preferred the Crispy Potatoes -- semi-smashed potatoes tossed in a hot honey butter -- soooo good! Very difficult advice, but try to save a little bit of room for their Dole Whip. Especially in the summer, it's like magic in a cup!I cannot decide which was better, the food or the service. I love this place! Perfect date night spot and a great place to take visiting family/friends.

Overall, a nice fancier dinner spot with fresh and tasty dishes. We ordered the salmon carpaccio, tuna crispy rice, bone marrow, and burnt ends lettuce wrap. The kitchen ended up gifting us the hamachi crudo. All were pretty good but in small portion sizes for the price. Otherwise fantastic service and modern interiors.

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would. The vibe is so nice, and they really know the definition of customer service. They are very attentive and accommodating, but not in a way that feels stuffy or pushy. My husband and I chose to drive here to Nashville from Memphis for our second anniversary. It did not disappoint! We had some of the tastiest bites we've ever had, Keith, our waiter, was superb. We had the pleasure of meeting John, and he even called us the next day to thank us for choosing the restaurant for our special occasion . You will not be disappointed, even if you're coming into town from a long drive just to try this place.

Amazing experience from start to finish! We dined at Noko for our anniversary. It's located in a bit of a strip of shops that have a dedicated but limited parking lot. When we went inside, immediately I noticed the cool ambiance that was a tad loud but also not pretentious at all, and with cool decor. We were greeted by Ava who gave us a rundown of the menu and suggested 2-3 plates per person for a family style shared plate experience. She brought us some bubbly to celebrate and we got 6 dishes to share. The tuna crispy rice is a staple and was just as I wanted it to be -- crunchy, a little spicy, savory. The lobster bao buns were a little greasier than I expected the bread to be, but the tarragon lobster filling was fantastic. Perfectly seasoned with nice big chunks of lobster, which the sauce complimented perfectly. The Brussels were a generous portion with crispy onions on top and a savory sesame dressing. The Brussels themselves were nice and crispy and less oily than lots of similar dishes at other restaurants. The Caesar salad lived up to the hype I had read on some previous yelp reviews -- the dressing had a nice spice to it from the kimchi and was perfectly creamy. The dressing with the crisp lettuce was complimented perfectly by the breadcrumbs and generous freshly-grated parm. Ava said it was the best in Nashville and I have to agree! The bone marrow was rich and tasty and paired well with the chimicurri and toasted bread. The market catch was good and I enjoyed the accompanying vegetables. Ava brought us the ube gelato and dole whip to finish our meal. The dole whip was perfectly light, sweet, and tangy just as I expected. And the ube gelato blew me away and wound up being one of my favorite bites of the night. It was beautiful in color, creamy with fantastic flavor. Ava took amazing care of us during our first time at Noko. She was attentive, informative, and nice. We'll certainly be back for more, as this was the best dining experience we've had recently.

My cousin came into town so I wanted to try something new and stumbled across Noko online. I'm a Nashville native so it's always exciting to explore and see what the city has to offer. Reservations were full online but I saw via IG they take walk-ins so we tried our luck around 9:00 PM and the three of us were immediately seated on the patio. The service and food were fantastic. Loved the playlist too! Our food came out super quick. We ordered Brussels, lobster bao, lettuce wraps and crab fried rice. Our waiter was super sweet and surprised us with edamame. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. I can't wait to go back and try something new next time. This might be my new favorite restaurant in town.
