Noe Jose Cafe

I was out walking around getting my steps in and checking out the snowfall in town (Oak Harbor, WA) while on my way to my favorite watering hole "Krakens Cove" to chat with my friends. Unfortunately, the nasty weather didn't allow Krakens Cove to open today. So, after scratching my head to decide where to go, I decided to stop at Noe Jose inside Harborside Village on Pioneer.I wish I could say the food here reminds me of Mexico, it is very good! But, I wouldn't know because I've never been in Mexico. So, I guess I'll just have to say that the food here is great!I ordered the chimichanga, because like they said on tv's "Two and a half Men", it's so much fun to say!! I ordered my chimichanga made with chicken. I barely had time to get settled in and my server was delivering my food! Quick, efficient service!The meal included rice and beans with a little sour cream and shredded lettuce on the side. There was also two squeeze bottle of homemade sauce, red sauce and green sauce. I preferred the flavor of the green sauce, but thought both were tasty.

Part of my job is to order catering for sales events. I usually use a catering website to place these orders remotely. This particular site unfortunately could not provide any restaurants that would deliver to necessary location. I ended up finding Noe Jose Cafe and contacted them directly in hopes they would be able to assist and so glad that I did! I spoke with The Jose himself and he was so very helpful! He was able to work with me on all the logistics, needed supplies and the delivery! I received calls and texts for any updates on my order, which was so appreciated. I was pleasantly surprised by how much support they were willing to offer and couldn't thank them enough! Everyone really enjoyed the food and everything went so well! Thank you Jose and team!!!

Great family restaurant. 6 boys & mom make some really delicious foods of Michoacán. Really recommend you try this place. 3 shredded beef tacos with fresh-to-the-minute corn tortillas were soooooo good. Just ask them. They rank best of this and best of that and more.Check it out. They are inside a building of shops.

The carne asada was full of flavor! I also loved the rice as well. The grilled onions and jalapeños were sweet and charred perfectly. Their house salsas were so spot on! So authentic and flavorful. I would say the service was TOP NOTCH! Jose was great with recommending menu items to us, explained a bit about their family restaurant. He did such an awesome job! And even brought out a few homemade tortillas for me to enjoy with my meal. We were from out of town visiting, and found this place on Yelp and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Don't be intimidated by all the varieties on the menu, just go straight to the Mexican menu!

Food is always great and I love that they make you feel like family. The fact they are family owned and operated is a bonus.

This is a great mom and pop breakfast house with the same feeling.The special: Lobster Benedict was amazing.The raspberry French toast was really and sweet and filling dish.The staff was very friendly. Will be back again.

This is a cozy cafe with excellent food. We frequent the restaurant on our visits to Oak Harbor to enjoy an afternoon of shopping in the boutiques on the block. I've enjoyed a variety of items from chicken enchiladas to the Shrimp Louie salad. Everything has been a delight. The service is quick and courteous. We look forward to our next visit.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our breakfast here. We had chilaquiles and a chorizo breakfast burrito and we're both very pleased.The chilaquiles had a nice creamy red sauce with the crispy chips, fried egg, black beans, and our cream. They also served their homemade corn tortillas on the side with two different salsas and it was all VERY tasty. I'm so excited to go back and order more of their menu for breakfast and lunch!

What a nice restaurant in an interesting little shopping mall. The service and food were excellent when we visited this restaurant for the first time. We were seated quickly and served quickly in a friendly and efficient manner and the food was outstanding. No doubt we will be back soon!

This is my place for breakfast. Though I go to breakfast only about once every two weeks, I'm somewhat of a regular. My favorites are Huevos Rancheros with beans and homemade tortillas, and the Sampler (one egg OE, sausage, hash-browns and sourdough toast).
